Secure Boot Error - G3 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi guys,
I've clicked Device Test on the Hidden Menu and the phone went into ATT mode. However, it wont boot, saying Secure Boot Error, Boot Certification Verify 680 or 670 sometimes.
I have a custom ROM installed, and through the recovery I've already tried to flash my ROM again, but it is still not booting. How can I fix this?
Please help me!
Thank you

I have D855 rooted stock rom though!

I managed to fix mine using this guide: http://forum.xda-developers.com/spr...y-download-t3053985/post60106965#post60106965
Just flash stock ROM using the .TOT method

thank you for the reply but this is not really a fix for me since i don't have a backup of my data, there are things on my phone that i can't afford to lose yet, if there are other ways to try that would be great.
things i have tried so far:
re-flashing boot.img and aboot.img
flashing stock Marshmallow rom
also i read somewhere here that dirty flashing the kernel might fix this but i have no idea on how to do that.
any ideas?

[Q] Phone stuck at ATT logo after OTA update

I updated my phone to kitkat using the OTA update while rooted, which was definitely a stupid thing to do, but now my phone seems to be stuck on the ATT splash screen after booting. It's been this way for 15+ minutes. Any way to reset it/unbrick it?
I am able to get into recovery mode and download mode.

I would read about doing that before doing so. From what I've been reading if you're on a certain bootloader, you can't go backwards. I'm by no means an expert, so just read a lot so you're comfortable with doing that. Good luck .
Dont flash old firmware, but older roms are ok to try. I'd start by trying to flash enewmans stock kk rom.
I managed to get the phone back to 4.3 Stock however now I don't have mobile data. I'm thinking this is a modem issue? Anyone have a fix?
I believe dochliday77 has a post somewhere with the kk modem ripped from the rom

I installed a 4.3 modem and it did not fix the issue. In phone status IMEI is Unknown.
You need to install the 4.4 modem on a 4.3 rom

Hey im also stuck on the at&t logo. I was rooted but used triangle away to remove the counter and unrooted via super su/user <--- I don't really know the name of it. So i did the ota update and the phone restarted, it installed the update and restarted again and now will not get passed the att logo, even let it stay on over night. How did you get back to 4.3?? I'm a serious n00b so I need detailed instructions, anyone please?!?

Everything in download mode needs to say "official" in order to get the OTA. See if this helps:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s3-att/general/how-to-restore-device-status-to-t2832880
If the ota appeared to flash, and its hanging during boot, factory reset should solve it.
Be aware that doing so with stock recovery installed will wipe the internal sd card.

For me, the only that worked:
- once rooted, make sure you get both current status and version (to be checked in download mode) as OFFICIAL (you can use Xposed or similar to do this, different threads can be found on this)
- flash with stock recovery
Hope this can help you as well...

You should try to go over specific Mode / Module (not sure about the English translation). To do this:
- Install Xposed Installer (or similar mode xposed mode installer)
- In Xposed Installer, download the mode "Cosmetics Device Status Normal Modification"
- Then, in the mode menu, select ComesticSysScopeNormalizer (or something that looks like this...) to activate
Restart, flash stock recovery, boot in recovery mode... and cross fingers!
Hope this will work

Normally it should work until you flash a custom recovery. But in this case you already set the knox flag. So, it doesn't matter if you are also rooted or not.
For whom it not worked:
After flashing the stock recovery boot once into recovery mode. For some this helps.
Mine's stock unrooted and i get that error too.

Secure boot error means that your kernel didnt pass system checks?
What rom are you trying to flash and what firmware version are you currently on?
I'm not sure what my firmware is but I'm running google 5.0 lollipop and Im trying to install cm 12.1
Writing again because im still having the same problem. I tried rooting again and installing a new kernel the 777 kernel for d855 and im still getting the secure boot error, anyone else ever have this problem i feel like ive tried everything
If you rooted from 5.0(Not restored to Kitkat then root then flash to Lollipop), You need to install Kitkat Bootloader and aboot as they fixed the issue in Lollipops bootloader.
try Auto Rec from playstore to solve your problem of "ecure boot error" on rooted Lg G3 D855 international

You need the Kitkat Bootloader, you need to flash Kitkat via LG Flashtool then enjoy custom roms
OK Guys so i figured out my problem, it seems to be that if you install multirom it completely messes up your recovery. All i did was install AutoRec again and it was good to go! Hopefully this helps anyone else with similar problems

It looks like you flashed a ROM for the t805 not the t705.
First let's get you back to stock.
Download the firmware for your device from the link below.
Follow the instructions to install it. This will get you up and running again.

Did you root your phone? If you did, you can use Qfil to restore your stock boot img (if you made a backup). If you didn't, you'd have to get someone to send you their boot image. I would have sent mine, but I cross flashed from Sprint to Open US. I doubt mine would work for you.
Why can't you cross flash?

You should clear modem and some other files stated in that post. Then you select all partitions in LGUP except one file also stated in the post. (I can't remember the name of the file)

From my research, i think a file called fsg has something to do with sim working. Also my IMEI is 0. any suggestions would be highly appreciated.
