Secure boot error means that your kernel didnt pass system checks?
What rom are you trying to flash and what firmware version are you currently on?
I'm not sure what my firmware is but I'm running google 5.0 lollipop and Im trying to install cm 12.1
Writing again because im still having the same problem. I tried rooting again and installing a new kernel the 777 kernel for d855 and im still getting the secure boot error, anyone else ever have this problem i feel like ive tried everything
If you rooted from 5.0(Not restored to Kitkat then root then flash to Lollipop), You need to install Kitkat Bootloader and aboot as they fixed the issue in Lollipops bootloader.
try Auto Rec from playstore to solve your problem of "ecure boot error" on rooted Lg G3 D855 international

You need the Kitkat Bootloader, you need to flash Kitkat via LG Flashtool then enjoy custom roms
OK Guys so i figured out my problem, it seems to be that if you install multirom it completely messes up your recovery. All i did was install AutoRec again and it was good to go! Hopefully this helps anyone else with similar problems

I have tried all the 4.4.2 custom roms and all of the get stuck in the logo even if I do the mega wipe and delete all the internal and external sds.
I have tried stock wipe and using odine and can only use official ROM.

Did you install custom recovery through odin? Which one and after that which rom?
Some custom rom required KitKat boot loader and you forced to update it. I have the same issue like you because I stayed with jelly bean boot loader. Everything is OK after upgrade. Good luck.

You can't install custom rom from stock recovery. First install custom recovery (TWRP or CWM) through Odin then you can flash desired CR.

I don't know what was the problem but I tell you what solved it . First I installed cynogen rom using its application and pc software and after that all custom roms did not stick to logo again. Thanks cynogen
I unlocked my bootloader, installed custom recovery and rooted my phone so that I can install custom ROMS.
However, when I install a custom rom phone does not boot. It will get stuck on the HTC logo screen. I tried Android Revolution, InsertCoin and SkyDragon roms with same result.
I also tried to flash boot.img via fastboot with no joy.
I have S-ON (I tried to turn S-off but that attempt failed as well)
Can somebody please help me before I bust this phone up?

I know this definitely happens with Android Revolution, but if you leave it alone for long enough, it will boot. I am running SkyDragon now, and it seems to work just fine. Even though I am S-Off'd, it should still work for you since you have an unlocked bootloader. Can you post a screenshot of your phone in bootloader mode?
It might be because of your firmware. Do you happen to be on Verizon?

You are right. I just found out that I was not waiting long enough for it to boot. However, everytime I restart the phone it takes almost 10 minutes for phone to boot but I shut it down and start, it would start.
Now, I dont cannot get root on SkyDragon. SuperSU says "The SU binary needs to be updated. Continue?" I would hit continue and hit "normal". I get "Installation Failed! Please reboot and try again" error message....Ugh this has been very frustrating...

I had the EXACT same thing happen. How I resolved the SuperSU problem: flash the SuperSU 1.94 zip in recovery. How I solved the slow as hell boot problem: go to Settings > Power and disable Fast Boot. Good luck!

I had the same problem.. what fixed it for me was getting on my stock ROM and doing HTC's OTA update to 4.4.3. This updates your firmware and make it compatible with newer firmware ROMs (such as Android Revolution) To do the OTa if you don't know how I recommend restoring a stock nandroid , flash the stock recovery and you should be ggod to go.

I checked to see if there is an OTA update before I flashed a custom ROM and there was none. Can I just flash a stock rom with an updated firmware? If so where can I find the latest firmware?
I was on Validus latest version 20B bootstack and was having issues ,so I decided to unroot back to stock to start from a clean slate. Meanwhile, a friend trying to help installed 10r instead of 10c as I had asked him to do . I have no data and after doing some reading this is an issue with downgrading to 10r.Also there is something having to do with twrp and losing recovery mode. Now I have a phone with no data or fastboot mode. I've tried the adb/fastboot route to no aval. I'm not really versed in this method. I have the d851 model in white. I really need some help! Thanks in advance. :crying::crying:

So use this to root:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-g...lipop-t3056951
Then go to TWRP's official site and download the d851 latest twrp.img. Put that on your external SD card. Install flashify and install TWRP with the .img you just download. This should give you root and twrp back on your phone in less then 10 minutes depending on internet connection. From there you can do what ever you want, but probably should stick to Lollipop roms since going back to KK will have connection issues.

Hi guys,
I've clicked Device Test on the Hidden Menu and the phone went into ATT mode. However, it wont boot, saying Secure Boot Error, Boot Certification Verify 680 or 670 sometimes.
I have a custom ROM installed, and through the recovery I've already tried to flash my ROM again, but it is still not booting. How can I fix this?
Please help me!
Thank you

thank you for the reply but this is not really a fix for me since i don't have a backup of my data, there are things on my phone that i can't afford to lose yet, if there are other ways to try that would be great.
things i have tried so far:
re-flashing boot.img and aboot.img
flashing stock Marshmallow rom
also i read somewhere here that dirty flashing the kernel might fix this but i have no idea on how to do that.
any ideas?

Same thing is happening to me. I've tried using OctOs M and now I am on PacRom 6.0.1 and I am having the same "No sim card" error. I can text and call, but no Data whatsoever.

Yes, download https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24052804347821137
NOTE, if you click on "UVUBOH1" and not the androidfilehost link in the FW thread, it links you to the wrong FW and you'll flash UVUBNC1! Make sure you click the androidfilehost link underneath UVUB0H1.
Then flash it with odin.
Afterwards let it reboot and upgrade, then odin TWRP back and either restore a nandroid or flash the rom of your choosing
Oh also, if you're still on 4.1 and on a touchwiz rom, you may want to factory unlock it before you upgrade.. Just because you can. Follow the unlock thread on here

Was quite a bit of trouble at first . I managed to download and flash the software. flashed TWRP via odin.
Then through TWRP, I rooted by using the Knox remover zip (as i was on official 4.3, my service signal did shoot up to normal again!). Installed SuperSU.
Now when I try to flash any ROM via TWRP it gives errors such as "Status 7", or error reading MD5 when I try to backup software.

Make sure twrp is up to date for d2tmo, and make sure the rom you are flashing is 4.3 or later. I'm pretty sure that once you're on the latest 4.3 rom you can't flash anything lower

I have finally managed to figure it out. You need to completely format the entire ROM currently installed from your phone. Once that is done, you can add any ROM to install properly. I'm running well on OctOS-N 3/17/2017 build.
Thanks all for your help.
