any links under this description would be appreciated
thank you
[ROM-AOSP GRJ22] Oxygen v2.1.6 (Latest gingerbread, clean & simple)
thanks nice rom, but 720p recording is essential, TB wake add on is okay, if someone uploads a 720p recording zip it would be a good rom. thanks anyway
After the same. But I don't think there's an aosp rom w/ 720p recording. I really want to try the new 2.3 GB Sense rom (as I assume the 720p libs come with Sense only) but it's unrootable atm, and the apps partition is shrunk.
CM7 is an AOSP 2.3.4 with 720p

wait WHAT?? CM7 is like the single-most stable ROM that is available for the HTC Desire.. Maybe you just need to do a full wipe of everything through fastboot, then flash it.

Really? Pretty sure they've not re-added 720p recording - which was in CM6 - as they think it's hacky.
Not trying to call you out on this, just I saw this post http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=11441117&postcount=5183 and didn't know the situation had changed. Has it?

Oxygen 2.2 Does it have 720P. & Is It Safe DL link inc

has anyone installed the rom, some feedback would be appreciated. does this have 720p and are there any bugs
Adam unfortunately has not updated his oxygen thread but has posted the latest 2.2 on his website, but there is not a change log.
http://forum.oxygen.im/viewtopic.php?id=165
thanks
AFAIK no aosp rom - Oxygen, Redux, CM7 etc - have 720p recording.
Bugs? No idea.
is there no add on to enable this feature. thanks
You posted Oxygen v2.2 in Developer section and you didnt even read original Oxygen thread?
Where did 720P recording go? Google didn't enable it on the N1 update, so given that Oxygen is kept as hack-free as possible it's not here either. Video quality is still great and suits playback on the Desire perfectly. (thanks wlee2)

720p Not Available in ASOP & Why?

720p Not Available in ASOP & Why?
hey guys needed to move from my stock sense after i rooted the other day but can not find no ASOP with 720P, is this due to kernal restrictions or purely ROM builds. Also is it simply not possable to extract sense's camera from a sense rom, unpack a ASOP and add the sense camera in the apps folder and later use it as the default.
thanks
if it was it would have been done already, wait until HTC release the GB kernel for the bravo and it may be possible (from what I've heard)

interesting so you think its totally a kernel thing and not software?

It'll be kernel/driver incompatibility. Unfortunately I'd like to see 720p incorporated into AOSP ROM's too as I use the video quite a lot and prefer the AOSP ROM's but, I suppose, some sacrifices need to be made because it's not a perfect world

due to Sense 3.5 or Android 2.3.5?
I tried MIUI-XJ and has no such issues. Of course it has Android 2.3.7 and no sense.

I think it's an issue with sense 3.5, cause all roms for desire are ports from other devices with better adreno and chipset, not for adreno 200 and msm8x50. I also had the same problem with sense 3.0 roms.
I'm currently using MIUI, not xavier's but from MIUI England site. However, the only reason is because it fits cm7r2 hboot and it works with a2sdx but I don't like the other AOSP roms. I also have issues with HD video playback (720p), it's working with custom players but it has lags.
To be honest I would use the stock rom (I even made a few of them http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?p=23101063#post23101063) but I couldn't manage to fit it to cm7 hboot (f.....g symlinking and update-script development, I'm not a developer, maybe an advanced noob ).

Hmm this sucks.
Actually I sold my desire to my friend and he doesn't like the MIUI interface. Only the Sense 3 or 3.5.
The device has Cm7r2 hboot so I can only flash its supported ROM. of course, hboot can be changed but I don't want to.
Anyways, lets see how it goes. Also finding for 3rd party camera apps (which includes camcorder) to see if it solves the problem.

..... ?

i want the stable cm 7.2 of buzz port to wildfire s is anyone know how to do that?
Click to collapse
You can only port a ROM if the devices are similar in dpi(or resolution) and processor version
for the buzz its dpi is "ldpi" and resolution is 320x240
But our WFS has an "mdpi" and resolution is 320x480
But the processors are the same (ARMV6)
The resolution difference might cause problems
And,you can't a port a CM7 rom from a device unless you have a CM7 rom for your device
Anyway, our CM7 is stable enough but not official, what will change?justt continue using our CM7 by alquez
Noteorting an official rom won't make it official anymore.
