[Q] Change language for specific apps

Hi,
My Desire language is set to Chinese. Which will make all apps installed to run/display in chinese langague if supported. For some specific apps, is it possible to have it run in different langauge (ie english) without changing the system language? While i'm fine & comfortable with using Chinese system, for apps such as titanium backup, i prefer to run it in english.

[Q] Ginger IME

hi all... i m having this problem in both Oxygen and Cyanogen MOD. Gingerbread IME is not showing the numbers 3,6,7,8,9... and others are shown. for a try i installed the gingervillian rom couple of days ago and it showed every number correctly placed.
can you suggest me a good way to correct this problem.

Reflash the rom? No problems here, working as intended. You could try to uninstall it then install it or delete the apk before flashing then install it after.

Try this.
Go into Menu, Settings, Language & keyboard, Select language and pick the language you want. Exit and see if the numbers show up.
If not then also try Menu, Settings, Language & keyboard, Android keyboard, Input languages and add a couple different languages. If that fixes it then you can remove the unneeded languages.
I had the same problem after clean flash to Oxygen 2.1.2. The language selection was English but not UK or US. The above fixed it.

Adding extra languages to i747

Hello yesterday I got my i747. But there is no my native language in it. I sucesfully made other apps working in my language using some software from the market but settings, messages etc (all native apps) is still in English. So I just wanted to ask if it's possible to take fw from my region and replace system apps from there with my language. Thank you.

[Q] Add new locale to UCALJ3?

Hello,
Due to limited number of languages in a stock rom, I'd like to add my one.
As far as I understand I will need to add my own locale string resources to each APK to support specific locale, that shouldn't be a problem.
The main problem here is how to add locale to the rom itself, I mean - to be able to select it from the Language settings menu. I've found number of replies that advised to add specific locales to /system/csc/languages.xml however I don't see such file here...
Any help really appreciated
P.S. Please don't advise to change ROM to CM/AOKP/etc it lacks a number of features I need.

MoreLocale 2 allows you to set-up your own locale. It's a critical install for every phone of mine.

I've already tried MoreLocale 2, it only sets current configuration as chosen locale, but it doesn't add it to Language settings menu. If you change your locale back to english, you won't be able to set up locale back to your one without MoreLocale 2...

Having Separate Chinese Language (Traditional and Simplified)

So, my mom uses a note 3 on t-mobile on the NK3 firmware, and since she updated from her old custom rom (was ViSiON-X N3 INTL, but don't remember the specific firmware and the download is not available) to the NK3 stock rom, although she has been able to get the Chinese language (since she doesn't know any english, other than Hi and bye) the only chinese option was in the simplified format, and there is no more traditional chinese option, and so, my mother has a hard time reading said simplified chinese, is there a way to add system display language? (language enabler by wanam did not work, and my mom doesn't want to use stuff like morelocale2 that only changes some of the phrases on the phone, have tried to change language.xml a bit, but alas no success, any help would be much appreciated!
