Hi Guys,
i need your help because i'm stuck on boot with my HTC 10. I received the phone today and was very exited to use and mod it.
What i've done:
- Unlocked Bootloader
- Flashed Recovery
- Flashed SuperSU
- Flashed Xposed
- Installed some Modules > Everything fine till then
- Installed a third module, reboot and now i'm stuck in boot with a green htc logo
No i'm a little bit lost because i have a encrypted system partition and no microsd card to restore from...
Do you have any suggestion for me how to get out of this? Will a adb push 1.30.401.1_twrp.zip (leedroids Backup) to the /sdcard folder work?
Thanks!

I'm like 90% sure that if you repeatedly press the volume buttons during boot it will disable xposed which should hopefully let you get into the system and remove that problematic module.

What do you mean with twrp brick the phone? No chance to recover?
i've flashed twrp and my phone stuck in bootlogo, and can't get to recovery or donwload mode.
edit: after countless tries i could flash back stock recovery and device is booting now

Hm, i tried that...repeatedly pressed every hardwarebutton i have. I've also tried to hold each button, no luck
@starbase64 My Recovery and Download Mode is still working, my problems are related to xposed i think
edit: will it help to flash stock recovery? and recover from there?
Well that didn't take long, lol.

There should be a zip available to disable xposed thus the installed MOD. Check the official xposed threat

I had similar situation, when booting phone was stuck with the green HTC logo. When I want to reboot in download mode, it was restarting each time after I see the gray HTC logo there.
Taking off the sim card and SD card and then rebooting worked for me. Than I put the card back in and was able to install new rom and turn on my phone.

Has anyone successfully installed TWRP 2.6.3.3 (http://techerrata.com/browse/twrp2/m7) on your HTC One? I have tried all three methods on installing it and I can't seem to get it to stick on my phone.
Method one: Goo.im app
From the menu, selecting Install OpenRecoveryScript and selecting Yes results in No recoveries were found for your device.
Method two: ADB / Terminal
Opened up an ADB shell and used dd if=/sdcard/twrp.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p34 which successfully installed it. Rebooting to recovery goes to the HTC screen that says Entering recovery and then reboots the device for a normal startup.
Method three: Fastboot
Booting into the bootloader and selecting the fastboot option in order to run fastboot flash recovery recoveryfilename.img successfully installed. Rebooting to recovery goes to the HTC screen that says Entering recovery and then reboots the device for a normal startup.
Holding volume down + power and selecting Recovery from the bootloader also reboots to the HTC screen that says Entering recovery and then reboots the device for a normal startup.
No idea how to get this installation to stick. Can anyone help out?
the twrp for m7 doesn't work.
the twrp for m7vzw is the one you need.

I used Flashify from the Play Store and it worked perfectly. The recovery held and was able to flash CM11. My fastboot has been screwed ever since I upgraded to Win8.1 so Ive been using that app as an alternative.
EDIT- Using the correct one as the previous post alluded to would also be a great idea. I didn't even catch that.

Can't Flash TWRP after installing MaximusHD
So I am a noob at this stuff and successfully flashed TWRP 2.6.3.3. I installed the MaxHD ROM shortly after following all instructions that I could find. I ran into bootloop and had to revert to an old firmware then flashed the current firmware and viola MaxHD booted right up. However, now I can not flash TWRP back as my recovery. Everytime I flash it and go into recovery it goes into MaxHD ROM. If anyone has any ideas they are much appreciated.
Also, I have read for over three weeks on these boards before posting even my first post so I have tried to research the problem if anyone was wondering that.

Is MaxHD a Verizon rom? That could be an issue if it's not. Also, the latest TWRP is 2.7.0.8. Haven't had any issues with it. Are you flashing it with fastboot commands? You might try the app Flashify.

Good call...it is not for the Verizon HTC One. Thanks much.
It doesn't say it's not in the write up about the ROM...I had to dig into the replies to see if anyone else asked.
So, I got an used Xperia ZL. The person who sold me this said he installed an international firmware, 4.3 and after installing SuperSU I noticed the device is rooted (and bootloader is locked). Now, I want to install a custom ROM but I cannot access Recovery mode! When phone starts there is no LED, pressing volume up does nothing, I installed Quick Boot, clicked restart on recovery but it does nothing. I even tried ADB boot recovery but the phone just restarts normally. What can I do?? I'm going crazy with this phone. Thanks for the help!

Hi,
I have unlocked my m9 via HTC dev and then installed the latest twrp recovery, did a backup of the stock rom but now after installing the InsertCoin custom M9 rom during the first boot I fully stuck on the HTC screen. Pressing the power and volume down does not help me out.
ADB and fastboot don't seem to work.
Anyone any suggestions?

The way I do it is hold vol up and power and once it resets hold power and vol down.
Personally coming from an m7 this is a bit different.

Hi I also need help because I just got my m9 yesterday. Unlocked the bootloader and flashed twrp. However, when putting ARHD in my internal storage, i formatted data accidently instead of just wiping and the stock os i installed is gone as well as the arhd zip that I was supposed to flash. I didn't do a nandroid backup leaving me with nothing now. I don't know what to do. Do I require an sd card or is it just that the internal storage doesn't work in twrp. When I try mounting it or sideloading it doesn't work. The only place where the commands work is in downloader bootloader. So if anyone can please help me will be appreciated as I've got no os or backup at all. Thank you.

Make sure you have TWRP 2.8.6.4 from this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-m9/orig-development/recovery-twrp-touch-recovery-t3066720
IT has MTP support, and you should be able to copy the rom to the SD card right from recovery.
To be clear.. the phone will mount via MTP on your computer (just like when you had a rom installed) and you can copy the file from your computer to the phone.

So I clean flashed the newest community edition of Oxygen. Directly after I flashed it I flashed SuperSU. Everything goes well, no big error messages (I edited the updater-script for Oxygen). So I boot into Oxygen, and I can't find root. Everything is working beautifully but there's just no SuperSU. So I reboot to recovery, about to flash the zip again, but I get a black screen. Doesn't go away until I hold the power button for 15 seconds. Rebooted to fastboot, flashed TWRP recovery image. Same result, black screen when booting into recovery. Is there something I'm doing wrong? It's usable but I'd really like root....

Hey
Im new to rooting and yesterday I decided to root my galaxy s9. I used Odin to flash twrp and flash ' Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_03.04.2020 ' and Magisk v20.4. All went well.
Used Magisk hide to bypass banking apps. but I encountered a few social apps like Instagram that kept on crashing. So I searched up what the problem could be and came to an article where it said the TWRP app may cause interference and delete it and wipe cache partition from recovery mode.
I didn't delete the TWRP app yet and decided to boot into recovery via magisk. But then my phone booted into download mode. that's where the issue started.
Its the downloading do not turn off target screen but strangely enough doesn't have the small system writings the top left side of the screen. All it says is Vol down + Power to cancel but when I do that,my phone boot into this download mode again. I panicked and flashed twrp, Disable_Dm-Verity_ForceEncrypt_03.04.2020, and magisk again and I did get into the Teamwin recovery. formatted and installed all the necessary things. But when I reboot from there it rebooted to download mode again. As of now its still in download mode and im waiting for the battery to run out and the turn on my phone normally. Please help
