Hi all. Xposed doesn't seem to be functional on lollipop.
What are you guys using to give xposed like commands ??
Is there any alternative?? Or we have to wait for its update??

I don't know of any. But xposed does work on lollipop. My Nexus 7 2013 is running 5.0.2 & xposed works just fine. There's a super alpha 5.1 build, but not all modules are updated yet. There's also a few threads with a list of working modules on lollipop.
Same Problem. Super alpha not compatible :/.....
I've got Xposed installed on 5.0.1 running GB and G3 Tweaksbox. I also have Amplify, YouTube ad-away, Greenify, and AC Display all running.
I am running 5.1.1 with xposed for 5.1 GOTO the thread they have a whole list of working modules, I have Greenify,Amplify,Gravity box alpha5.1,APM+,YouTube add a way all working, and all the HTC 4all blinkfeed,camera,gallery,music..ect

albeit xposed for 5.1.1 is up and running in the meant time it's beside the fact that is "per se" a huge hack, not really close to how it worked under KK. that's not a complaint, just stating a know fact. therefore i'm currently staying away from it, at least as long as "app settings" per app dpi does not work. what i did i tried to find solutions and/or roms to replace the main modules i was using before:
a) greenify + xposed experimental stuff: solution greenify paid version and lollipop OS improvements together produced the same battery experience for me like the one i had in KK which was 1-2% usage over a 8-10 hours period of idle time ( this together with (b)
b) amplify: read a and make it greenify +xposed features + amplify
c) app settings: no replacement found ( per app dpi ) dpi change system wide has never been difficult, currently i use 85% of default, depending on the device of which i'm using 7, the number differs, that's why i took percent.
d) silent mode / true silent mode: i made a tasker setup to deal with the matter and it works as well as before, but you need a cm-based rom
e) xBlast / GravityBox, depending: more or less all the features i was using with xposed modules and cm11 under KK are now bundled into various
custom roms + themes, be it RR or CM-Theme engine. thus i'm satisfied with what i got and don't desperately need xBlast or GravityBox ATM.
hey guys,
Was just browsing through the threads and i came across this one..
http://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/modules/tool-installer-xposed-installer-zenfones-t2983589
This guy has developed Xposed framework especially for Zenfone's and Intel X86 devices...Since we have a Intel based device... Can we use this on our zenfone 2?

I will but what if i get a bootloop or my device gets bricked?? How should i recover from it? By flashing via adb??
Doesent work. Last updated 2014.
i've tried => not working and as per Rovo, xposed for lollipop is only for arm7 for the moment..
Damn... That sucks eggs big time...
Hopefully as more devices come out with the 64bit cores this might change, wouldn't hurt if the devs also got these devices, TWRP would also be nice...
fyi, there's a patched version released yesterday on taiwanese forum. so i guess it will soon be here on xda.
The Zenfone 2 is on 32bits version of Lolipop so an updated version of Xposed for X86 should work

nope i dont see any... I installed a module and activated it...but its says Xposed not currently active...Screenshots attached
working on my ZE551ML
just follow this guideline http://www.asus-zenfone.com/2015/05/zenfone-2-install-android-50-xposed-framework.html?m=1
1 - connect zenfone with USB ( debug on)
2 - launch InstallXposedFramework.bat (phone will reboot)
wait framework installation is finished (a bit longer coz xposed wipe ART cache)
3 - Launch InstallXposedInstaller.bat to install xposed apk.
In your case step 3 is useless coz you have already installed the apk (be sure it's the latest apk..Alpha2).

Thanks its working now :good:
Good. Now i don't need to release pre-patched public system.img
I didn't look into installer, but you need to be careful when you use Xposed modules. Since we don't have custom recovery, it's not easy to recover from bootloop if some module will prevent system loading.
Keep spare system.img without Xposed, so you can flash it in case if you can't boot. Although, i'm not sure if it will be able to boot after Xposed modifications in cache.
Many Many Many thanks for your work Sorg !!!
my idea was, if getting in bootloop, to put phone in fastboot mode and reflash system.img preroot by Shakalaca (if i remember, after flashed system.img , ART cache is wiped)
i've tested Install and remove scripts installer and all worked ok
I've my phone since 1 week and it's already rooted and xposed compatible. Wonderful life
Edit : bootloop with Xprivacy (bootloop solved by fastboot flash preroot system.img)
Hi there, just wondering if anyone could link me to a guide on how to install Xposed on the P2, I can't seem to find any. Thanks very much
See here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=3034811. Install SDK23 ARM64 version zip from TWRP, then run the installer APK. Setup Xposed as usual. Working fine here.

Thank you very much HaJeeEs!
A modified xposed installer and framework for nougat is now available thanks to the Purify os team and rovo
https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-android-nougat-sdk-25-arm64-t3639221
Follow the link above.
1. Make backups, twrp/titanium
2. Install the modified xposed installer first, must be done first!
https://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/?id=13191#downloads
Use the top one on the list it may get updated
3. Next download the modified xposed framework from Purify here
http://fastkit.org/xposed/
Follow the links.... SDK24 for nougat 7.0..... Then download the xposed version 87 model... Flash from twrp
Again make sure you fully back up, it all went fine for me, but sometimes these things don't go right.
Plenty of posts in the linked forum but a bit of a jumble as usual, all with varied results, but the above will work for us.
Not sure how many modules are usable yet, I have one working so I know it does work.
Which are you using, and what would you like to use?

Status bar download progress.... Working (mostly)
Status bar cpu temp.. Not working
Status bar cpu frequency.. Not working
Any of the status bar theming such as wanams xtouchwiz would be good
Also xinternalsd was useful but not working
Can you change aspect ratio yet?

Not something I would normally do, is there a particular module you use for that?
It's been such a long time since I came across this, being able to adjust screen ratio and dpi on a per app basis. No real reason to now but with the 4:3 ratio on this tab, it'll be nice.
Also, been a while since I've used xbosed

I have been using it without problem for a while, but the versions used are crucial to success, I couldn't get the magisk systemless to work. Try going back to the beginning and make sure each download is correct, the method in the first post will work.
hmm.. but i need magisk :-/

Get it work with super su but installed OBBonSD does not work (with GTA, KotoR,...). Do you have any idea?
EDIT: Found a solution with http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.pyler.xinternalsd
I have followed the directions exactly and I tried twice to install xposed on my t825 rooted with magisk 14. No luck unfortunately. Has anybody been successful in installing it ??
If yes, could he share the methodology ?

had the same problem.. remove magisk and install superSU.. xposed do not work with magisk -.-' on this tablet..
Question, how do I remove xposed again?
Can I do it with the installer app, or do I need a special skript? Never used Xposed on Samsung before and I know everything works differently.
Hello,
Your experience : Do you have a "" Tab S3 SM-T825, Nougat 7.0, Root SuperSU "" on which you have installed Xposed.
1- Does Xposed work normally with different modules?
(No Bootloop or tablet block?)
2 - Which version xposed * .zip ?
3 - Which Version XposedInstaller _ *. Apk ?
Thank you
Cordially

Fairly old thread this, I have a T820, however I've made roms for both variants, the t825 thread is here,
https://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-tab-s3/development/rom-sm-t825-tweaked-t3769742
the earlier versions are nougat the latest 3.0 on are oreo both work fine, you'll find instructions in the thread, if changing to oreo you need to flash the oreo bootloader, through odin, if returning to nougat you need to flash the older nougat bootloader as they're not cross compatible.
Xposed works fine on both, xposed installer included after booting, start the xposed installer app and select install it picks the correct version.
Root is by magisk.

Hello Rorymc
Thanks for the answer and for the link SM-T825 TWEAKED, but I'm already Root with SuperSU + Dm-Verity with Rom ARA2 Nougat 7.0 and I just have to flash Xposed with TWRP.
So, I think I have to take Xposed.zip and Xposedinstaller APK from rovo89 in pure version without add and unmodified ?
I hope I'm not mistaken .....

Yes that's correct, just make sure you get the correct versions, if anything goes wrong just restore your backup.

Hi z5 premium users, there is a guide for installing xposed on nougat 7.1 .1
There are some z5 users who used this method and it's working for them.
Any one tested this on z5 premium ?
Working or not?

I Have Z5p E6853 and Android N 7.1.1 32.4.A.0.160 stock rooted kernel and Xposed(SDK25 ARM64 ) does work on my device and a lot of modules work great and even Amplify works great, but only after i moved it to system partition and changed permissions to 777, not all modules work though (Greenify doesn't work) - but i moved it to system/priv-app folder and i use it as "Root + Privileged (Rom-integrated)" working mode .
So i Suggest to try your best with Xposed too!

I always use some modules like : fsbi, lolistat, hide navbar, xposed edge, battery notification mode, are these working on nougat too? Could you test them if it's possible for you? However I'm on e6833.
And is there any unistall patch for nougat xposed to flash through twrp?

You are very welcome!
As for "Xposed edge pro", I use it all the time and it works great but you need to restart after every change to see the affect.
Here is the link to the Uninstaller(System-less and system mode): http://main.purifyos.it/xposed/
It literally saved me many times after boot-loops or sony logo freeze and etc...
All taken from here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/xposed/xposed-android-nougat-sdk-25-arm64-t3639221
As for other modules, i'm currently testing another rom(LineageOS) so i haven't installed Xposed there yet, but i'll keep you posted for when i install Xposed if you wish.
Hope it helps!

Make sure you install the latest Xposed Installer,
Always pick the latest("XposedInstaller_by_dvdandroid_04_08_17.apk" in this case ):
https://forum.xda-developers.com/devdb/project/?id=13191#downloads
I have tested it myself, it partly worked for me too, z5 premium dual e6833 7.1.1 build. 160, fsbi and lolistat worked partly again, I needed fsbi for changing the size of notifications, but it isn't working for notifications (
Hide navbar is not working too. I'm waiting for stable and fully work framework
I have tested. Working (7.1.1-Z5)

Hi my friend,
how did you root this version of android?
My phone is the same as you but E6833,could you please help me and show me the way?
thanks in advance
Hey just a thought, I found Magisk was great in managing all of this kind of stuff, where it takes the questions out of it. Just root your phone with magisk and install the Xposed module, download and install the magisk supported Xposed app and there you have it, fully working Xposed framework, systemlessley!
