Is there a special test menu where I can test the phone's features like sensors, camera, LED, etc? How can I run it?
Dialing *#*#7378423#*#* does make it dissappear but does not open service menu
For the M8 it is *#*#3424#*#*
Wouldn't hurt to try I guess

My SMS received messages are generally like 4 hours sooner than they are suppose to be.
I looked up this:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=659831
but I am not sure that would work for a G2 as well.
Is there an easier way to fix?
Turns out that is for winmo. Is there an

I tried that before posting.
It works but it is not a permanent solution.
It's just some app that auto changes the time for you.
No app, problem reappears.
I was wondering any one of you ADB geniuses out there has a permanent fix for the G2 much like the one for the HTC Legend or whatever in link in the first post?

Probably impossible as Windows Phone is closed source.

Besides what Guy says, there are copyright issues to take into consideration. Read this wiki:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Xda-developers
ubuntu:yes
windows:no
simple answer would be no, as mentioned above. If you wanted windows OS on your phone, your better off buying a windows phone.
If you want windows phone look, try launcher7. Here's a screenshot:

Hey,
So does anyone know a way to make apps exempt from the stock OOS RAM cleanup?
I want to be able to select a certain app that I don't want to ever be cleared from the ram as I need it running in the background 24/7.
Thanks
Did you try locking the app under recents? See attached picture.
