Hey,
So does anyone know a way to make apps exempt from the stock OOS RAM cleanup?
I want to be able to select a certain app that I don't want to ever be cleared from the ram as I need it running in the background 24/7.
Thanks
Did you try locking the app under recents? See attached picture.

It looks like you are running stock software. It's possible it could be the CarrierIQ software. Do a Goog search on that if you aren't sure of what that is.
How do you get the wifi tab in data usage? Mine only shows the mobile data... Do I have to have wifi enabled in order to show that wifi data usage tab?

ciq removed
i thinks its residual app data
i debloated a bunch
for the wifi go to data usage / search button / show wifi usage
Hey folks, long story short, I am trying to verify whether an image I got from a tipster is from a Note 3. Everything else seems inconclusive, with the exception of the attached icon, supposedly for the net browser. Now, I haven't seen this particular icon before, and I could not locate anything visually similar on the net, so I thought I'd try to leverage our combined knowledge.
Anyone seen/knows where/what this icon is?

I wouldn't know. This is an image sent to me.
Could be, though, which is why I'm asking
I have mobile data turned off but on this ROM (amazing) it is using data, witch cost me a cent now (not that big but becomes an issue over time).

I get both of these pop ups constantly. The small pop up window usually 7 or 8 times when updating apps.
And the big one every couple of days.
I don't want or need Google looking at my phone for security threats.
So I always decline to pop ups. How do I stop them for good?

This.
You might check out the Debloater that Gatesjunior made it shuts down alot of processes. I am still in the process of getting stuff shut down at least myself LOL

It's way to much at the bottom in my opinion.
Is that normal?

Well, yeah it's normal if you're using the capacitive buttons. If you use the on-screen buttons, I'm sure it will look a bit better to you.

I found out what the problem is, the app drawer icon doesn't switch the size after you pick the small icon size in the launcher settings.
It always has the same size if you switch them.
