HELP! z1 Compact stuck on startup loading screen SOLVED - Xperia Z1 Compact Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi Guys,
My Z1 Compact is stuck on the initial loading screen when you first turn it on, so it just says SONY in the middle and xperia on the bottom and does not get any further. It got into this state after I turned it off by holding Power and Volume Up. I have tried various combinations of buttons to try force it into a recovery mode of some sort but does not seem to get there. I can get it into fastboot mode but it is still bootloader locked and I do not really know all the command in this interface.
Any help/suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Which ROM version? Rooted? Recovery installed? Any mods applied, etc.?

Hi Guys, I have solved the issue. Looks like the bootloader was corrupt. Re-imaged phone using flash tool.
Connect the flash tool by holding the the volume down and connecting via usb.
Then flashed the image off the flash tools website. NOTE: you have to connect phone after the "preparing files" stage otherwise phone will disconnect before flashing commences.
Anyone needs help with this specific issue please post, it was frustrating as hell trying to resolve.

[Q] Xperia S bricked ?

I was installing cyanogen mod 10 via CWM and everything went fine until I rebooted after installing. The phone would not reboot in to android.
The phone is stuck on a black screen with no power light showing - it vibrates if I try a hard reboot but that is the limit of what it's doing. When it was plugged in via USB the computer installed a couple of drivers but that's it as far as any form of life goes.
Does anyone have any ideas ?
Is your bootloader unlocked?
CM10 only works on unlocked bootloader.
If your bootloader is locked, use PCC or Update Service to repair your phone.

Do this -
1. Download stock ics ftf and prepare to flash it using Flashtool by androxyde
2. Press and hold the power and volume up combination until you get 3 vibrations
3. Now holding the volume down key, attach the usb cable and allow the flashing to get completed
4. Turn on your phone normally after the flashing and enjoy
Thanks.
I used the sony update service to get up and running again. As far as I was aware the bootloader was unlocked but presumably it was not which caused the problems ?

It happened because you have not unlocked your boot loader properly.

To turn it off completely, press and hold the volume up + power combination until you get 3 vibrations. At this point, your device will be completely turned off. Now in order to unlock your bootloader, kindly follow this guide - http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/instructions
Good luck

It sometimes takes longer time to work. Did You get any sort of error on flashtool? Like error while flashing loader.sin? Also, does the phone get warm on the back side?

[Q] HOX wont boot into Bootloader mode only to Factory Mode

hi guys,i am new here and also a big noob. I have this problem about bootloader on my htc one x, tried google and searched on this forum but to avail. Here is the problem, the phone is already rooted when i bought it. I tried to boot it to bootloader but it always get to factory mode. Its recovery is stock, and i could not get the cid. Please, I really need some help how to get to bootloader mode. Thanks in advance.
Also tried "adb reboot bootloader", didn't work also.
It has no "Power" menu in Settings. Phone is from china.
Power the phone off and boot to boot loader by holding power and volume down button.
Is there any info screen in the settings? Post a photo of it?

[Q]Can't access Recovery Mode! LT15i

Hello,
i can't enter my recovery mode, when i power on the phone i pressed the volume rocker down, but it doesnt work!! can someone tell me whats wrong? i have a custom rom flashed called super jellybeam and when i power up my phone it says FUSION instead of Sony Ericsson.
Please help me
Thanks in advance
Stefan
U can change kernel
Fusion is a custom kernel and should have a recovery. If you can't access it then use a different kernel.

but the thing is, i was already in the recovery... are there any other button combinations known which i could try before changing the kernel?= im a bit of a noob and everytime i do sth like flashing and rooting
No, only one button takes you to the recovery.
How did you flash the kernel? Describe with details.
down-volume rocker
restart the phone and still pressing the down-volume rocker
I'm having the same problem. I have previously (6months +) flashed the stock Android 4.0 with the rootable kernel. I recently chose the factory reset option within the settings and it bootloops between Sony and xperia screens however no combination works to go to recovery, fastboot etc. I see that normally the led changes colour but it doesn't flash at all. I cannot force fastboot through adb as the phone bootloops before drivers load. I have tried powering off pressing the down volume, also l separately pressing the up volume, also the menu and finally the back button. I've also tried combinations of each too. Any ideas?

Sorry for the slow reply. Yep, tried that and no difference. I'm sure the led lit up at some point under gingerbread, but there doesn't appear to be any change with ics. That's when I thought you had to press the combination. Here, I've tried spamming all buttons and tried holding all buttons. Nothing seems to work. The phone just doesn't seem to boot enough for the flash tool to recognise it, so no hope though that method either.
Any ideas (to the many geniuses on here) ?

Thank you for your help.
The cyanogenmod wiki has a mistake(or software bug in CM11) in its installation instruction for xperia m. To go to the clockworkmod menu I had to press the volume rockers after the light at the bottom turned pink and stop pressing them when the light turns light blue(a bit greenish). If I keep pressing the volume before that then it seems that the phone goes into a bootloop .
How ever i was not able to recover the official rom of sony. But i did manage to install the nightly build for CM11 .
But the phone now seems to be a little bit warmer than it used to be while using wifi. Is it ok?
Thanks again in advance.
