Hi together,
my lg g4 has the following strange Problem. I guess it came with the update to H815TR20f
If i wake up the phone (doesn´t matter if double tap oder the button) the Screen Shows but will not react to any gestures. I have to turn off the Display again and turn on. Then it works.
Does anybody know this issue?
Thank you

Does this happen after you have not used the phone for hours? If yes, it is because of Doze.

If that's the case then go buy nokia 3310...
Kidding of course. I don't think it's doze. Software problem should be the cause in that matter.

Hi guys,
After updating to JB, my light sensor isn't working anymore... When my screen brightness is set to auto, nothing happens when the ambient light changes.
My buttons also do not go out anymore.
I'm all stock, not rooted or unlocked.

Backup sdcard, apps and important data such as call logs, text messages etc and afterwards do a hard reset .
To do a hard reset Press power+volume down and hold them for a few seconds. you'll boot into a white screen with 3 android's skating. There you'll have an option for factory reset. select it, It will hard reset and wipe your phone completely. This should solve the issue mostly. Good luck

Trying to avoid a reset as long as possible. Since I have no root, I can't use titanium backup to restore everything :-\
Anyway, i did a few reboots, and the sensor seems to start working again... Only in the dark the buttons remain extremely bright, it's a lot brighter than before, and quite annoying...

Are you using power toggles?
If yes or not, open a video, change video brightnes and then check your system's autobrightness again.
If this solves and if you're using powertoggles, don't use it anymore, at least till the next update.

i changed the rom , and i wip evry thing with 4xt , can it be a hardwear problem ???
Sorry I'm not a nerd in things like soft- or hardware ..
But if the screen wont turn off it could be a soft but also a hardware problem :/
Give the phone to someone who can you say if its a soft or hardware issue

I've noticed when I leave my phone idle when going to bed at night and when I wake in the morning that my motion gestures stop working until I unlock the phone a few times with the power button. Is anyone else experiencing this? Is this normal or is it a faulty device? I got a screen protector but it's a normal spigen one so I doubt it's that.
Everything work here at least if I don't cover the proximity sensor...
You have to pick the device up. Move it somehow then the motion detectors will work

Oh I see. That's what I do wrong probably. I've always wondered why double tap wasn't working when laying on my desk.
Edit: Well it works but not always. Odd. Thanks though

If it's on your desk naked, rock it gently in either direction, then double tap. It work that way too

I maybe wondered since the phone went into deep sleep maybe it would turn it off to prevent battery usage. I remember picking up device and trying to unlock. I'll try tomorrow again in the morning.

ok waiting for your reply.
That's deep sleep the gestures won't work unless proximity detects movement and if the phone is in deep sleep then sensors are also

I switched from Cloudy to Paranoid today, but I can't get the double tap function werking. Are there any known issues with this function?
Currently using Build 20150513
No one?

I'm on G3, all fine here. Maybe switch double tap to wake off, reboot, turn on again and try again.

I just tried, but no luck.
I have this problem to. It locks if I tap 2 times on status bar
Me too. +1
Just got this phone a few days ago. The phone is solid and does everything reviews claim it to do.
I however have a problem with this phone;
there is no tool/setting/profile for users of the dual sim feature to customize for flexibility and convenience.
There is a distinct lack of profiles for individual sim, rapid switch from sim to sim. This greatly dampens my daily use with this phone when we do not have this convenience.
Does anyone have a solution to this problem?
A solution to multiple profiles to dual sims at least.
Maybe this app is a solution for you

I've been meaning to search for an app to auto select, I'm surprised that this function isn't built in to android dialer.

I was also looking for a solution for this and I found this app/dailer
It covers most of my needs.... (only thing I'm still missing is having separate ringtones for each sim)
