Hi! I searched on the internet for the right stuff for my HTC One M9, but i can't find anything! I need your help!

(bootloader) cid: ORANG202
The zone is Europe, Italy.
I need to know how to enter recovery mode (I already tried but I can't) or how to S-OFF without entering android and, the most important thing, how to flash or at least how to wipe data and factory reset.
I have fastboot and adb, both on windows and ubuntu.
I already tried on htcdev.com but I think I need to enter android and actually I can't: my little brother messed up with the authentication and i'm unable to unlock the device.
I found TWRP backup and OTA update here http://forum.xda-developers.com/one-m9/general/stock-nand-backup-ota-update-collection-t3132698 for ORANG202. Would you be so kind to explain me what should I do next?
I tried copying the renamed OTA file (0PJAIMG) on the sd card, went into download mod, volume up to start flashing, but give me
22 RU_HEADER_ERROR
22 RU_HEADER_ERROR
FAIL22 RU_HEADER_ERROR
I managed to enter the recovery mode and I did the factory reset. Thank you all, gentlemen!

Hey guys I really need your help!
Just got this HTC One M9 that was previously rooted with the "Viper" ROM. As the person gave it to me he wiped it clean leaving only "TWRP" on there. Anyways somewhere along the line I accidentally wipe the whole phone clean and now there is no TWRP... Selecting recovery mode comes up with "Failed to boot to recovery mode". And now my computer won't even recognize it as a device. :crying: Guess I got what I paid for, $200.
Can someone please help urgently? Btw, I'm from Australia.
Cheers.
Did you try to turn it off, hold Vol- when powering up and see if it'll boot to download mode? If this works you can easily flash TWRP again to start flashing a custom ROM from scratch, or instead flash an appropriate RUU to return to full stock - if available for you combination of CID/MID.
For further help, if you can get to download mode a fastboot getvar all output would be if help to further assist you. Post it - if possible - without IMEI and Serial No.

I'd advice to download the RUU belonging to your above named main version number, rename it to 0PJAIMG.zip, place it on an external (FAT32 if less than 32GB, extFAT if lager) formatted extSD.
Insert this SD into your phone and boot to download. You should then see a yellow text on the bottom stating what to do to start flashing the RUU and follow it to proceed.
This will get you back to full stock, to be able to start from scratch with whatever you'll do next.

Hi.
Can I fix this phone with bootloader relocked and S-On? Phone is in a bootloop state and will only enter in download mode. Here's some info from the command "fastboot getvar all"
(bootloader) kernel: lk
(bootloader) product: htc_himauhl
(bootloader) version: 1.0
(bootloader) imei: 357226065********
(bootloader) version-main: 3.35.401.12
(bootloader) boot-mode: download
(bootloader) version-baseband: 01.01_U11440792_97.00.51203G_F
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.0.0.0000
(bootloader) mid: 0PJA10000
(bootloader) cid: HTC__031
I've tried to flash with sdcard this updated rom but ends with ruzip flash error 12.
0PJAIMG_HIMA_UHL_N70_SENSE80_MR_HTC_Europe_4.28.401.3_Radio_01.01_U114401011_117.00.61117G_2_F_release_498151_signed_2
The error is 12 - the readme thread says the following:
12 SIGNATURE FAIL: The phone expects an HTC signature and can't find one or found a wrong one. This error occurs if you try to flash a RUU that uses a different encryption key than the one your phone is using (e.g. firmware 3.x and older vs. 4.x).

I think there was something about encryption keys being changed from 3 to 4 firmware. Please try flashing the 3.35.401.12 RUU from the readme thread, not 4.28.401.13
Hi Guys,
I've been trying to help a mate who's gotten himself into trouble with his HTC 10. Now i'm certainly no expert either, but figured that by doing some homework and asking in the right places (here!) we should hopefully be able to get out of trouble.
Full disclaimer - I have no idea what he did to the phone before i got it. I'd assume it was rooted and then he's tried to return it to factory.
The phone will not boot, and currently only has access to the bootloader/download mode. The bootloader is locked and S-ON is enabled.
Now here's where i think it get's tricky. I can't seem to find an RUU for the Telstra ROM it's running (841), and i can't enable debug mode to unlock the bootloader to flash any of the SneakyGhost .zip ROM's that I've found. It would appear we're stuck?
Here's the dump of the getvar all:
(bootloader) kernel: lk
(bootloader) product: htc_pmeuhl
(bootloader) version: 1.0
(bootloader) max-download-size: 1578400000
(bootloader) serialno: FA65T********
(bootloader) slot-count: 0
(bootloader) current-slot:
(bootloader) imei: 3575100********
(bootloader) version-main: 3.18.841.1
(bootloader) boot-mode: download
(bootloader) version-baseband: [email protected]
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.0.0.0000
(bootloader) mid: 2PS620000
(bootloader) cid: TELST001
Is there any way to get around this? Could I change the cid to a north american one and flash a stock HTC RUU?
Any help or guidance on where to go from here would be great.
Cheers.

First of all sneakyghost doesn't have any ROMS online, only firmware. Firmwares and ROMS are 2 very DIFFERENT things. Firmware is only the bootloader, recovery and such and a rom is the running OS on the phone, so please do not mix those up.
Second if you can't find any ruu with that number, any firmware with that number, any stock backup with that number and the phone isnt running any software it will indeed be a challenge.
S-off is a way (and also 100% needed) to change the cid and change region. Otherwise you will be stuck with telstra.
I will have a quick peek around to see if there is any software out there.
Edit :
Okay i found a RUU but it's a payed website, i know it's legit as i have seen users here used it and succeeded.
https://firmware.gem-flash.com/index.php?a=browse&b=file-info&id=48060
That file is what you need to get the device up and running in 1 sitting.
Thanks for the response. Clears a few things up for me. If I was to pay tglo get that file, could you outline the steps I should follow?

Rename the file to :
2PS6IMG.zip
Place the file on the SD card and enter download mode, follow instructions to flash.

Awesome! Worked a charm! Thanks again for all your help.
Hello,
My 3 years old htc one m9 is getting me headache the past months.
I am thinking this more of a hardware problem (dead nand probably) than software but lets see.
Phone statrs pretty hard, it needs 20-30 restarts or so. I am not able to hard reset it from the settings nor through recovery mode.. (recovery mode failed). Now the phone won't start even after 50 restarts. Sometimes it starts but the screen is black.. i can only power off/reboot/airplane mode (the animation after pressing power button is ok thoug)
Software status - Modified
LOCKED
S-ON
I haven't rooted my phone or etc... just stock (only official OTA updates)
htc download mode:
LOCKED
htc_himauhl PVT S-ON
LK-1.0.0.0000
RADIO-01.01_U1144011_117.00.61117G_2

OS-4.14.401.7
Nov 26 2016,00:36:11 (836547)
Can I fix it somehow or I should consider buying a new one?
If it can get to download mode just flash the stock firmware via external SD card. If that fails then its cabbaged.
How can I do that and how big sd card do I need?
And from where should I download the stock firmware, also how can I see the correct version for my phone?
PS C:\adb> fastboot getvar all

Hi all,
So a couple days ago I wiped the cache, data and system partitions of my HTC One M9 using TWRP.
I then downloaded ViperOne and installed it using TWRP.
All went well and it said that the installation was successful.
Now, the phone will only start to bootloader mode, even if I use TWRP > reboot > system
When I enter download mode, I have an error message: FILE /mnt/media_rw/ext_sd/0PJAIMG.zip File NOT FOUND
Can someone please help?
The phone is S-OFF and
(bootloader) kernel: lk
(bootloader) product: htc_himaulatt
(bootloader) version: 1.0
(bootloader) version-main: 1.32.666.30
(bootloader) boot-mode: download
(bootloader) version-bootloader: 1.0.0.0000
(bootloader) mid: 0PJA11000
(bootloader) cid: BM___001
Thanks!

I am having the exact same error, with any Nougat based ROM. I've tried flashing different versions of TWRP and reinstalling but it always just goes straight back to the bootloader. Oreo and Pie ROMS all seem to boot properly, although I am having different issues with them so I would like to go back to Nougat if possbile.
Ok, I think I got it working now.
What I did:
wiped everything
downloaded the stock ROM for my phone (Canada, Bell, BM__001) using this link - https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24591023225177907 - 0PJAIMG HIMA UL M60 SENSE70 ATT MR BM 3 38 666 2 Radio 01 01 U11440801 96 01 51207G F release 464884 signed 2 4
Then flashed fastboot flash recovery twrp.img
Then installed ViperOne again through TWRP
