Known bugs are :- Display flickers on launcher and recents.
Trebuchet Launcher Backup data acts wierd sometimes. Just clear cache if you dont see your apps in your app drawer immediately after installing any app from playstore.
As this rom is heavily featuristic expects some minor bugs here and there , basically notification panel.
Pulse , Smart bar , Fling works great but sometime pulse wont trigger or stop acting as it should be . Just refresh the ui for it (means locks the screen and free up some ram. Its visualizer on nav bar so it needs some memory to load).
Rc169* lcd support not present , I will soon do that once i get an official nod from the Devs of rr.
maybe after getting official , i may keep on compiling every night.
Feature list is present on RR Google plus community .
Here is altan krk's post about it.

first of all thx for this:good:
is LVM support planned for this ? I know its CM13 based (which has no LVM support) but the chinese method of unifying partitions is bit dangerous because of playing with physical partition layout. So wouldnt LVM be the better way to go ?
... and hopefully R63419 LCD support for Find7s (QHD) is coming soon

Hi, i tried the rom and i can confirm that NOT works with R63419 panel. Sorry man, but thanks for trying.
Cheers
I am unifying the device tree like crdroid now . Maybe now it will squash all the inefficiency issues.

Testing, and so far everything running smooth... keep the good work....
EDIT: The contact favorites some times disappear... They came back after reboot but then when I acesse them from phone app they disappear again ...
EDIT2: Some tiles disappear like "Ambient display" and battery is running wild...

That mean, instead you have two separated builds Find7a(x9006) and Find7s(x9076)... You will have one build only with that two builds that will work on any Find7 device, like Nameless and Crdroid have...
@Injected could you screenshot your Root folder using Root explorer or something? I need to check if its truelly LVM (should see a lvm folder in root & an emulated storage folder) or if its some kind of coldbird / chinese partition method.
If it was truelly LVM you should need to flash LVM Setup zip before the rom and reboot the recovery to discover the new partitions, but here there's no mention of this in the OP, meaning its probable not LVM.

Yes is truly LVM.... Since i have made FRESH install (Sahara COS1.2.5>COS 2.1.5>TWRP>FORMAT internal storage>LVM script>Reboot again to TWRP>LVM script again>Flash RESSURECTION...
But you can go directly from COS 2.1.5+LVM(or other costum 6.0 build+wipe dalvik/cache), and flash ressurection...
And by the way may device variant is the Find7 x9076.
And by the way the dev not yet update the thread since is cooking common build to all variants

AICPAndroid Ice Cold Project
AICP is known by everyone as Ice Cold Project that started on Desire HD and since then evolved into a mature ROM with the BEST community you can find!!!
Until Lollipop, Rom has always been AOKP based. Unfortunately, since AOKP either stopped development or will make a comeback later this year, we changed our base to CM when it comes to hardware, drivers and some features.
If there are any bugs, either we will sort them or CM team if it concerns their modifications. This rom isn't CM supported so no need to report errors or bugs to them!!

Don't disable Heads-Up. You wont be able to answer phone calls otherwise.
You tell...
ROMS should contain everything you need to enjoy Lollipop. You are not required to install any Add Ons, simply download the latest ROM, gapps, flash it, and go!
You are STRONGLY recommended to fully wipe your device before flashing, and if possible avoid restoring system apps and system data with Titanium Backup - these can cause stability issues that are very hard to debug. If you believe you know what you're doing - then fine, go ahead, but please don't complain if you experience strange behavior.
How to flash:
Don't do it if you don't know it
ROM has gapps persistance in between dirty flashes
Flash boot.img in Fastboot
KERNEL:
Kernel in this rom follows CM source with custom additions.
PREREQUISITE FOR OTA:
To be able to flash over OTA app, TWRP recovery is needed.
You can still use CWM and OTA app, but only to download zip file and flash it manually from within recovery. Zip gets saved under AICP_ota folder on your internal SDcard.
If you want to contribute to the AICP or wanna see what is being worked on/merge feel free to visit our gerrit, link is at the bottom!!!

A quick note on #Find7 #AICP variants.
Find7 is a tricky device because of its bull**** partitioning layout (thanks Oppo). We have created 3 (4?) variants depending on your device / personal preference:
Find7 : This is stock Find7a as defined by Oppo, with 3GB for /data (!!).
Find7s : This is stock Find7s (QHD model) as defined by Oppo.
Find7ext: This is a variant created with the only purpose of increasing the available space at the cost of having an external sdcard (class 10 recommended) AND renaming two partitions from the recovery, which is a low risk process (not the same as repartitioning).
Find7u : This is the "unified" layout as created by c0ldbird and others. It requires a repartitioned device which I personally won't support as it's full of risks (I know cases of bricked devices). This was available on KitKat and for the moment is not supported on Lollipop (who knows in the future?)
Regarding find7ext, which is my preferred choice, this is what happens when you flash this variant:
Your internal sdcard will be remapped as external sdcard (and possibly invisible, as it is ext4 - you'll need to convert it to FAT from TWRP)
Your external sdcard will be remapped as internal sdcard. Most of applications ignore the secondary card so this will basically increase your sdcard space (depending on your external sdcard capacity).
If you want to have 9GB for /data (25GB on the 32GB model) and all of your sdcard as "/sdcard", then you just need to "rename" your partitions (not the same as repartitioning) which is a low risk process that can be easily done from TWRP by running some shell commands (adb shell):
Code:
parted /dev/block/mmcblk0
name 15 _sdcard
name 29 userdata
name 15 sdcard
(Reboot recovery)
Wipe /data as ext4
Wipe /internal_sd as ext4
Reversing the layout requires a similar set of commands:
Code:
parted /dev/block/mmcblk0
name 15 _userdata
name 29 sdcard
name 15 userdata
(Reboot recovery)
Wipe /data as ext4
Wipe /internal_sd as ext4
Hope you find this information useful.
Please don't ask for ETAs regarding Find7u. I personally don't recommend that method - although we may finally bring that up after all. There are safer solutions such as Omni's LVM implementation that we may also have or not in the future depending on free time and real life pressure. Please don't ask for ETAs for that too.
Wellcome to the party
Welcoming Find7s to the party. Hope you guys enjoy a great rom. I know @alienmind worked really hard to get it to you.
EDIT* I just read the third post entirely and realised it is no longer supported
Thank you for this, mate. Is the Find7u version universal, Will LVM work as well as Coldbirds? Also I can't seem to find the download for Find7u V8
for color os 2.0.5i
can this be normally flashed on color os 2.0.5i , or do i have to down grade , please tell in clear
by the way a video demo would be helpful
thanks in advance
This is a beautiful ROM, and I fell in love with it on first boot up. I installed the Find7ext version but still get the insufficient storage error when installing apps from playstore.
I also noticed that my Evernote fails to work now, as it runs into some errors creating a storage database.
Also for my device, I sometimes encounter not being able to read the Internal Storage (SD card), and have to reboot in order to get it working again.
So I wanted to ask: if I wanted to flash 7u, can I just dirty flash over Find7ext?

Any one having media playback issues?
I can't watch videos on this rom. Very sleek and alot of good features but every app that plays media FC's. I.E. chrome, maxthon browser, Walkman, and stock music app will FC after one song or video.
I just found out that I have the same issues. Are you using the ext version?

No I flashed the 7s boot.img. I honestly wanted to try out aicp lollipop because I was a huge fan in the kit Kat days. But no videos Or music made me go back to gummy 4.4.4 for now. Also waiting on xposed for our chipset. Are you using ext version?
Yeah I'm using the ext version. I've been hunting for a good custom Rom since Gummy stopped being supported, and this one seemed interesting because of the workaround for internal storage, but I still seem to have the same limitation. Add to the fact that I can't play videos and it's a dealbreaker for me.
Think I'll try cm12. Xposed mod has a lollipop version now, I think it came out today.

I don't believe xposed will work for any of our lollipop roms. It says it's only for armv7 chipsets as of now. Already tried it. Ours has the Snapdragon 897AC I believe. it didn't work and probably won't until they release one for our chipset.

Just curious, are people getting BSOD with this ROM on Find7s?
Please make a video demo of this rom m so that many users of find 7 willinstall this lovely stuff...... thank you
Just like other CM based ROM, this ROM has the BSOD issue on Find7s
Other than that, this ROM is pretty good! But I just hope someone can solve the BSOD problem

Nice!
By the way, is it possible to rebase the kernel on Omni ROM? AICP ROM is awesome, but my Find7s is still suffering the BSOD issue as usual because the kernel is based on CM one

I'm not suffering the "BSOD"'s' on 5.0.2 - although I have a Find7a nd using the Find7a build - sorry I can't help with that. Can you post a last_kmsg?
This ROM is CM based, lot's of stuff are CM dependant so no, it's not possible to just switch kernel with Omni without tinkering around a lot of things.
I do suffer random reboots on 5.1 - I know, it's a beta. For the moment looks like it's ext4 related. There are some other known issues such as wifi disconnects and incorrect mobile signal reported, but they will be eventually fixed.

Unified or LVM compatibility in this firmware and I can't think of anything better. Great hardware only becomes great with the right software behind it and this exemplifies that.
Excitement!
I just flashed exodus 0622! So far the best custom rom I've ever run on my find 7a. Awaiting for good news bout battery life.
Recently the battery drain when idle is quite bad, 1% drops per hour overnight. I suspect it's the mobile radio active bug since I have my Wifi, Data, Location, Bluetooth, auto sync off. Used privacy guard to uncheck "wake up" and "keep awake" on google play services and whatsapp. Wakelock detector and BetterBatteryStats showed that my device is at completely 100% deep sleep. So I'm wondering what is the silent killer of the battery life.
I hope Team Exodus can keep an eye on it. I really appreciate it! I would give my donation sincerely to y'all if I got this solved.
Your rom rocks!
Updated OP!
Now exodus supports https://crowdin.com/project/exodus-rom
Let traslate this awesome rom in your native language!
thank you for this developement,
may i ask...i see nothing in the OP about unification or instructions on what to do if you use either @coldbird or @Entropy512 LVM unified rom methods...before flashng this rom...maye it would be a good idea to update the OP for future reference for other users benefit...plus i would love to know if you guys will be supporting either of these two methods in the future....
small issue: cannot seem to find an email when trying to add my hotmail account..? no personal imap..?
issue solved by installing Gmail app from store
would like to say KUDOS to the developer this rom is awesome stuff so far....and not a single BSOD to talk about either...loving everything about it...keep up the good work....also will this rom be posted over at oppo forums or just here
Following what mrsim said. I've done the LVM setup in accordance with this post and seem to have some problem with it (just tried flashing once though, gonna try more stuff later), after factory resetting Omnirom and flashing this Rom I get a message about my disc encryption having problems (never tried encrypting the disc), be aware

Yet another question. If this is somehow based on cm, what about BSODs? are they present in this rom?
Hello , can we get dt2sleep in homescreen , like namless Rom have it , it is a cool feature.
And will we get LVM support in oppo find 7 , it is possible trough evesiration /dev in oppoforum , or suraj das /maintainer in oppoforum , suraj das build a working LVM build with coldbirds Unification with the nameless dev help.
Please Exodus is better than nameless Rom when we get the 2 missing features that gives the Exodus Rom a perfect look.

Haha, I feel your pain. I had the exact same problem, except mine came with a whole other set of issuess on top. I finally figured out how to install it and besides a few bluetooth glitches it is working beautifully right now. I'm using it as my daily driver since I prefer it over colorOS. If you need a tutorial let me know, I might be able to help.

Of course. I'll make a mini tutorial, if it is not detailed enough or you have problems with something in it let me know.
Things you will need:
Oppo minimal fastboot tool
Original Oppo firmware 2.0.8i
Oppo OEM recovery file
Tk Gapps 5.1.1 "pico worked best for me"
Exodus rom
First of all, fully charge your phone. For those having encryption failed messages like I did and are locked out of their recovery like I was, I recommend starting from scratch. First, download the "minimal fastboot tool" from the Oppo froums. Just do a Google search and it will take you to the Oppo page with it. --(The following is only for those with a locked recovery) Put your phone on fastboot and enter this command on the SDK "fastboot OEM unlock" Now your recovery should be unlocked and you shoild be able to install one!-- Next, install the official Oppo find 7 recovery, even if you have access to twrp, you need the original recovery (at least I did). Find how to do this on the Oppo forums, under "installing OEM recovery" you will need the minimal fastboot tools for this as well. After that download the official Oppo firmware 2.0.8i and flash it using the OEM recovery. What I did next, is I unified the storage with this firmware, then returned it to LVM. Now install the newest twrp that supports lvm, and after that you should be able to flash exodus with no issues, followed by Gapps. Word of warning, I ended up having to use the pico tk gapps, the other ones were apparently too large. I worried about this, thinking the lvm storage issue would appear, fortunately it hasn't as of yet. Now, keep in mind this is how I got it running, but I'm yet to find out if the several partition storage issue will occur, as I mentioned, no problems yet. Enjoy, I'm not responsible if you mess up, so please be careful!

PLZ DON'T MIRROR THIS POST OR THE ROM WITHOUT GIVING PROPER CREDITS
Installation Instructions*Take a nandroid backup if you want to restore your previous rom, incase anything goes wrong.
1. Wipe cache, Dalvik cache, System, Data
2. Flash rom
3. Flash gapps right after flashing rom (important)
4. turn device off..
5. Extract boot.img from this rom.zip and flash it using SPFT. (important)
6. Start your device.
7. If the touch is unresponsive and no sim is detected then goto recovery and flash codelover's kernel swapper and modemfix.
[ I think modem fix doesn't work in cm13...if it works, you are lucky but if it doesn't work then copy "catcher_filter_1_wg_n.bin" and "modem_1_wg_n.img" file from your stock rom's system/etc/firmware folder and paste and replace these two files in cm13's system/etc/firmware folder] (if you change these files in the cm13 rom zip file then you don't need to change permissions. but if you are doing it with root explorer then don't forget to change their permission to rw-r-r)
9. Reboot the phone and wait for the cm13 to bootup. The rom should boot within 10 mins.
Enjoy

How is the battery life?
I don't know if someone observed. Camera is very clear, sharp and better in CM13 than CM12. Also Battery life is better in CM13.
Shame is; none of my fitness bands sync with Android 6 so, i have to stick to Lollipop.

Good but
Please fix the buges. Vpn .gps . 3g 2 2g .and brig dt2w
ROMs with Lollipop or higher are always going to have bugs and errors no matter how much you try to fix them because of the old kernel. Unless someone makes an updated kernel for our device , really no use making so many ROMs.

Didn't say what you're doing is not a good thing. The more a device gets development, the more popular it becomes with the devs and the more better ROMs and tweaks we get for it. So keep doing what you're doing, we appreciate it.

INSTALLATION
Wipe Data/ Factory Reset
Wipe System, Data, Cache, Dalvik/ Art Cache
Flash ROM <= Very important, do not reboot & proceed with the next step
Flash Gapps <= If you did then a Wipe Data/ Factory Reset will fix the FC
Finally reboot and enjoy !
* First boot may take awhile if you choose to use full Gapps, nano will do but that is entirely up to you to choose the Variant.

@TeamMex lol look who is in town for this phone. Missed your work brother . And here @yuweng u did fantastic job of bringing aosp to this phone. Caf is always the best. I am going to root my this new phone now .
Is fingerprint supported in this version or not??
Instead of asking why don't you flash it and find out yourself?
but the answer is NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.
Just like every other ROM. I'm sure there will be a BIG announcement if fingerprint support ever comes to this phone. At this point I hope it never does.

well old friends are always missed klozz....
what a fantastic ROM! I was on Resurrection Remix, and gave this a try, this is even more fluid and battery back up is much better......I also tried AICP but i couldn't fix the random screen off issue though
I have two questions, if someone can help:
1. How do I get "Screenshot" in Quick tiles? The + button does not have it as an option to add to existing tiles, I often use it and sorely miss it. I tried using Gravity Box but that seems to screw up aesthetics as well as conflict the selection options.
2. How do I uninstall system apps? (Exchange services etc) I cannot seem to find it in the Settings menu anywhere and TB fails to uninstall (they all come back after a reboot!)
All in all, am sticking with this ROM anyway! Best I've used so far, but for these two minor quirks I have
Small bug: Ringtone and Notification volume are always linked, in spite of deselection the option to link
nandakalyan said:
1) volume up+ power triggers screenshot . u don't need to use any app or any option for this .
Else still if u need , just goto power options and add screenshot there.
2) u can try es file explorer to uninstall system apps .
U can ever delete the system app (in ur case exchange services) folders from twrp .
Els try root uninstaller from playstore .
U can separate volume adjustments from sound options .

That is exactly what I said isn't working (notification+ringtone de-linking)
Screenshot is more a matter of convenience, than needing to press two hardware keys
Other ROMs seem to have an inbuilt System app remover, I already removed those using Root explorer anyway, but asking if I missed something which is already in the ROM that I am unable to find.

All the ROMs based on CM carry the same issues/bugs that exist in CM. FP doesn't work in CM, it won't work there as well.
I was having issues with the CM 13.0 build because of connectivity. Mobile data was very bad, speed and availability wise. I tried all the suggestions in the thread but nothing helped. I flashed this ROM last night and it felt just as smooth as the CM 13.0 compared to the horrible performance of the stock ROM (I was running B140 Debloated on KIW-L21). I am now sitting in the train on my commute to work and I have to say: speed and reception of mobile data is awesome!
Thank you so much for working on this! When this is running stable I do not see a reason to switch to another ROM. Great work!
is anyone else having Wi-Fi auto connect/disconnect issues? Each time I have to manually select the Wifi network to connect to Also, the signal strength always seems to be showing one or two bars (in Wi-Fi) even if the router next to the phone!
Well here is the feedback !.... The clock is not visible ! Its white in color and I can't see any text over it !
2nd whenever there is data switching between 3g to 2g networks the phone network disconnect itself. This was not an issue with the stock ROM. (Maybe issue with our sim telephony at cm device trees)
3rd whenever yo go into 4g area ! Phone does not show 4G symbol. Whenever I switch back to 3g it shows h+ icon . I have attached the screen shot in which there is no 4g symbol in which tiles Re down !

Changelogs
As we're getting back into the thread game, keeping up with threads and updating them as per changelogs can be too hectic given our schedule. However, very detailed changelogs always go up on our Google+ page, follow us for constant updates!
For Device specific changelogs, check the second post.
Instructions & requirements
We highly recommend you to follow these instructions very carefully. Users usually tend to skip a few steps and eventually fall in trouble. Are you with me? Good. Let's get this train going.
Just a few things to keep in mind first -
If you're coming from another ROM / Stock, your system data (not internal storage) and cache will have to be wiped. This includes apps, accounts, messages, call logs etc.
There's been some users complaining about different GAPPS variants messing up installs and causing a ton of issues. Upon investigating it seems OpenGapps Mini/Nano work best.
Understand that Paranoid Android is a custom ROM and it might lead to addiction as it's relatively good. We shouldn't be accused of anything just incase your cat starts drinking wine. Things get a little woozy in the Paranoid World.
Some brain might be involved if things go wrong. Not a lot though, as much to solve what's 1+1.
Okay let's get to the main bit -
Once you have all the required files - boot into recovery and wipe the bananas out of your device. Get into the wipe menu and wipe data, system, cache and dalvik cache (basically everything except Internal Storage).
Once wiped, get into the "Install from zip" menu and select the ROM zip. (pa_gemini_6.x...). Once added to the install queue, TWRP will ask you if you want to add more zips into the queue - Click on "add more zips" and select the firmware package.
Swipe the bar on the bottom to flash/install zips. Once both zips are done installing - Reboot into system and set-up your device, after you've let it settle with screen off for about 10 Minutes, do not do anything else! Please let your device settle with screen off for about 10 Minutes after the first boot, otherwise the system wont boot after a reboot!
Once you're done setting up your device - well that's when you're done. One thing though - Make sure you DO NOT INSTALL any other zip in the same queue as the ROM! Meaning, do not flash anything like Gapps, a kernel or a root package while installing the ROM. We recommend you do that AFTER you're done setting up your device.
