LG H818N | same model same firmware, cannot read the same MicroSD card - G4 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I have the Hong Kong version H818N, both bought in Hong Kong.
I rooted them using the same V10E-HKG-XX image.
I unmount the MicroSD, put it in my NEW H818N and it said it's blank and not supported.
What's going on? I put it back in the old one and it mounted perfectly.
They are essential the same phone, same model, same rom and it still causes trouble.

[Q] International OG Pro variant 32 GB only

hello everyone,
Similar to LG Optimus g Pro e980 (At&t US), what specific international variant model that has only 32 GB internal storage ?
For example the e988 variant has 16 GB and 32 GB versions.
The reason im asking this because I flashed a e988 Hong Kong Jellybean kdz in my e980 and now it only shows a 10 GB storage.
Since Flashing a stock e980 tot gives me now a wrong model error, my only option is to flash an international KDZ that will return my default 32 GB storage.
Alex CWM backup Fix is the best option but I dont have a micro SD card right now and buying an overprice micro SD card is not practical.
Another option is to wait for 5 days micro SD delivery from ebay

If you have cwm you can flash the ATT kitkat rom uploaded in the forum, that should get you back on track. Another option is to modify your build.prop so that it gets recognized as an E980. then you could flash the tot file.
i flashed easy kat zip but still have a 10 GB storage

Flash 16GB Stock on 32GB D855

My network (Three UK) has started offering 800MHz LTE with VoLTE but only to people who have particular phones (S5, G4 so far) using their branded firmware, with the radio being the important bit assumedly. The updated D855 firmware is expected in November so I want to be all ready for the OTA.
I've got the 32GB/3GB HKG variant which I've flashed to standard EUR.
Three UK only ever sold the 16GB version, so I expect the updated ROM will also be 16GB, and this doesn't fit well on a 32GB phone, I read in places that I will lose the other 16GB of storage.
Ignoring the option of extracting the magic radio and flashing that on its own, is there a known method to recover the missing 16GB if I just flash it as stock?
I've googled and XDAed but haven't found the right post yet.

G4 H815 now a H818N after Warrenty Claim, Incorrect Software Version now installed

Hello,
Long story short, I have obtained my phone back from repair in Hong Kong (I am located in Australia). Originally the model of G4 was a H815 using software version H81520D_00_0115 I believe from memory. This phone died because of it overheating causing to do a boot loop/stuck on LG Logo screen.
I ended up getting the phone back from Hong Kong, they replaced the mainboard as I thought and now the model of the phone thinks it is a H818N Dual Sim card LG G4 – Running software version V10c-DS1-HQ, which it clearly is not a dual sim card G4 because there is no additional sim card slot. Anyway, phone seems to be working well except the rear camera does not focus (I have had this issue in the past and I resolved the issue by installing the correct software version, eg 20A, 20C, 20D etc.) Trying to update the phone using software update does not reveal any updates. Using LG Bridge reveals an available update for it, it thinks the software version was 20F or 20H not sure, however when it goes to download it does not get past 0% tested on two PC’s.
I have installed the images I have found for the H818N now which are:
Hong Kong H818N10b.kdz (this one worked the best as it didn’t come up with that error message when you reboot if it’s an incompatible kdz image)
India H818N10d_00.kdz
India H818N 10F.kdz
With no success in fixing the rear camera issue. I have not factory reset though as I don’t think it would have much of an impact.
Have tried to loading: H81520D.kdz image but the LGUP utility (which I have been using for the above process) says KDZ file is invalid, I assume this is because it detects the phone as H818.
Does anyone have any suggestions or locations where I could download more images to try like H818N 10A,B,C etc? Or if there is something I should do cause I have had nothing but issues with these phones
Kind regards

Can somebody tell me please why updating my unbranded phone branded it?

I should explain, my LG G4 is a H815P, before the update (when it had lollipop) it was brand free and it didn't showed me the image I'm seeing now (I mean the image that is shown when you turn on the phone after the LG's logo), the change happened when I updated the phone from lollipop 5.0 to mm 6.0. Can you guys explain me please...
I did the update with my sim card inside the phone via LG BRIDGE... btw, the image of the carrier that is shown right after I turn on the phone is the same of my phone line which is Claro, I find this extremely weird because I DIDN'T BOUGHT THE PHONE "FROM THEM" I bought it from another store that sold it as a free carrier (or unbranded) phone.
I don't like the image from that carrier showing up, what can I do without voiding my warranty to keep my phone "clean" as before, like re-installing MM unbranded? and how do I do that...pls help
It's probably just something LG put in there, not that your phone is locked. I used to be from a network called MEO (Portugal) and didn't have any branding, but recently I switched the card for a Vodafone and suddenly LG started suggesting me to install apps from Vodafone (didn't get the boot animation tho) because Vodafone is partner with LG. It's probably the exact same thing you are facing right now, just something LG put on there that is activated when using a card from that carrier

How to flash back from H790 to H791

sorry for poor English first
since having a bootloop issue, I sent my H791 16GB version to China for repair followed those has the same issue,
and I upgrade ram as 4GB and rom as 32gb,
now my phone is back and looks everything works fine.
the only thing confused me is the variant in bootloader shown as LGH790 , which is US version...and IMEI code also changed
since my carrier in Taiwan needs band 8 for LTE...
if someone can teach me how to flash as H791?
at first I think I only needs to flash radio but I found the description in bootloader for H791 and H790 has no difference...
