Hi,
I just bought a cheap Ulefone uWear Smartwatch. I connected it successfully with my HTC One M8. I would like to receive all notification on my watch, so I downloaded the Fundo Companion, but unfortunately when I receive a call, the sound is coming by default from the watch, not from my phone, which is very annoying for me. Is it possible to receive notifications on the watch, but to speak through the phone? Now I have to change everytime the audio source when I receive a phonecall in order to use the phone for calls.
Thank you in advance.
Bluetooth settings - select your paired device settings - disable media audio (if necessary you can remove phone audio also)

I tried, but this doesn’t select the phone as default audio source by phonecalls. Stopping the phone audio stops also all the notifications on the watch.

Hey!
How can i suppress the ringing on my htc desire while it is connected via bluethooth to my car? I tried everything in the system and locale. No sounds are enabled anymore but when i get a call the phone rings when it is connected to the car.
Thx!
no one any ideas? no one the same problem?
Not really sure but why not try a profiling app from the market so that you can set what type of sounds profile you require when in car mode?

I have a smart watch with calling capabilities (Samsung gear newest S2 model).
When ever I receive a call it automatically will forward the call to my watch.
I've scavenged the bluetooth settings, dolby atmos sound settings and call settings as well as my gear settings...
I cant seem to find an option to change default call audio out. Any ideas or work-arounds help.
you don't have Bluetooth headset paired to the watch by any chance?

Usually, with every Bluetooth device that is paired with the phone can access phone audio, media audio and contact sharing. Just uncheck the "phone audio" and when you receive a voice call, the call shouldn't be rerouted through your watch and you should be able to answer it from your phone. I've done this wai with Sony Ericsson MW600 with a bunch of different phones. Always worked.
Hope it helps.
Hi there,
My wife is a massage therapist and she uses her phone to play music with an unlimited plan through cellular service. She connects to a Jam Plus speaker through bluetooth while she works with clients.
With Oreo, if she put her phone in Do Not Disturb but allowed Media, an incoming call would not stop the music from playing.
With Pie, the incoming call disconnects her media from bluetooth.
Has anyone found a workaround? She has a Pixel, but I've tried the same thing with my Pixel 2 XL and indeed, an incoming call will stop the media from playing through bluetooth.
If I'm simply playing the music through the phone speakers without bluetooth while in Do Not Disturb, the call does not stop the music.
Any help is much appreciated.
Under Bluetooth settings for the speaker device (tap the gear next to the device name), try turning off Phone calls (or turning it on if it's already off). Leave "Media audio" on, of course.

Unless I'm not understanding what you are pointing at, I don't have a Phone Calls to turn off in the settings for that speaker (nor any other bluetooth previously connected device that I checked).
I only have a Media Audio switch which is already on.
Where would I turn off Phone Calls?
hi all,
after 3 years of use, I decided to upgrade my GearS2 to the new Galaxy watch. One of main advantages for me was the possibility of running without carrying a phone : I can use samsung health and music locally stored an the watch, together with my Jaybird run headsets.
the problem is I cannot get the voice messages on my headsets if the music is on : i get the notification beeps, every km the music pauses as programmed, but no voice can be heard.
Using watch speaker, app works fine and voice is played over music. Using car BT, it also works fine. Even on my Gear S2, app and BT headsets work fine, voice is correctly mixed over music.
I have re-paired and hard reset headsets and watch few times without success, and all notification and TTS are active. I even contacted jaybird support but they did not want to help (they blamed the app).
any hint about a possible solution ??? the most annoying thing is I cannot understand the problem...
thanks for your help!!

On your watch, go to Settings -> Connections -> Bluetooth -> BT Headset. Click on the settings icon for your headset. Make sure "Use For" for Call Audio and Media Audio is enabled.
When using Google Assistant to make a phone call through a BT headset/earbuds when the phone is locked, some contacts work fine, but some other contacts give the response in the title and won't allow to make a phone call.
Does anyone know how to fix this?
Thanks.
Set BT headset as trusted device. If a trusted request isn't heard, it prompts for security

That is unacceptable, because that simply unlocks the phone when a BT device is connected.
Do you know how to fix the bug that only breaks certain contacts?
Discovered new bug.
I was testing 4 different wireless earbuds yesterday -
Galaxy Buds Live, Jaybird Vista, Sony WF-1000XM4, and Sabbat E12 Ultra.
Sometimes if I initiate a phone call from the BT headset, the phone app starts in the BT mode (BT icon shows) as it's dialing. But as soon as the call connects, the phone app switches to the Phone mode (switches from BT icon to phone icon.) So you cannot use the BT headset to actually take the call.
When I reboot the phone, this problem goes away. But only temporarily.
Does anyone know a fix?
Or does anyone know why Google cannot get their head out of their asses and fix these bugs? These kind of bugs have been plaguing Pixel phones since the original Pixel XL.
