Hi Guys
Just want to know...
I've searched and i havent found a flashable zip file.
How would i go from TWRP back to CWM recovery.
thanks
Use odin
If you have lte s4 mini i9195 then there is a flashable zip of cwm 6.0.5.1 in the root i9195 thread in general section. Thank arco68 for recovery and ladislav.heller for making flashable zip.
If u do not have i9195 then u have to use odin to flash cwm. good luck
Download [TWRP][RECOVERY]2.8.3.0&2.8.1.0 #gt-i9195 odin 3.10 #serranoltexx

Im on Z008 2.19.40.12_20150612 I cant seem to flash twrp no matter how hard I try. Im rooted and unlocked BL. Is fastboot easiest way or sideload or from twrp manager? Does someone have the download link of which IMG I would need?
Check the General resources thread, you might have to upgrade your stock firmware version.
Download twrp manager from app store. Use that.

I've tried that but what img file do I need for my firmware?
I see the new one is 2.20.40.63 what would be the right twrp img file to flash?

You must be on 2.19.40.18 - 2.19.40.22 to unlock your bootloader. Only after unlocking your bootloader can you flash TWRP onto your phone permanently...
Go to general section and check out the 1st stickied post, it will give you the info you need to do this...
I'm already unlocked and rooted. What img twrp should I flash based on my firmware?

TWRP officially support Zenfone 2 (551ML) so get from there....
I'm 550 ml now what? Can anyone just send me a link to the right img?
What are the steps to flash this TWRP recovery 2.8.7.0 OTG-USB NTFS.zip. This is for 550 ml
I'd use untethered Twrp then flash, but that's me.
Twrp manager automatically picks the right recovery.

Their is a bit more to it than just flashing a zip I suggest you look at the guides and stickies on Xda before proceeding any further or you may end up with a non working device.

Hey bro,
If you're rooted already you can instal your phones custom recovery with Flashify from the Google Play Store.
Once you have the recovery you can get to flashing!
Hope this helps
Better if you are rooted is go to Playstore and download AutoREC for G3 (have 2 versions, one for 4.4.2 other for 5.0 choose the version according with the Android version you have installed), this app will install the TWRP on your phone and download the reboot app to get into TWRP...is easy!

Unfortunately, you can't flash anything that isn't signed by OnePlus through the stock recovery.

no .
need to use twrp.
I have an L24 that is missing a lot of stock system files that hinder it from using the system updater. I can't seem to find a copy of the stock firmware for the l24, however I can find al10 and to my knowledge al10 is universal? Should I run in to any issues flashing this onto my phone ?
if you got the stock recovery use hisuite to do a recovery. that should flash it stock.
I'm on twrp so what would it take to get back to stock recovery

This is stock recovery. Flash in twrp as recovery ramdisk.
