I have an L24 that is missing a lot of stock system files that hinder it from using the system updater. I can't seem to find a copy of the stock firmware for the l24, however I can find al10 and to my knowledge al10 is universal? Should I run in to any issues flashing this onto my phone ?
if you got the stock recovery use hisuite to do a recovery. that should flash it stock.

Twrp won't have the decryption keys or some of the HTC specific functions required to apply the OTA. You'll need a stock /system and a stock recovery.
dang. okay
T-Mobile US 4.20.531.4 firmware
Here is the new T-Mobile US firmware from today with the recovery and boot.img removed, just need someone to do their magic and remove red text.

Check out my TWRP of a stock no-root ROM (lollipop): https://mega.nz/#F!qsNkyITK!yGJVGKuWOZ_vyndIF8-Z0Q
There are also other files there as well, but remember that if you don't update your firmware you may have issues.

Would this explain the error that I'm getting?
Package expects build fingerprint of htc/tmous/htc_m8:4.4.4/KTU84P/396641.2:user/release-keys or htc/tmous/htc_m8:5.0.1/htc_m8: 5.0.1/LRX22C/464190.4:user/release-keys.; this device has htc/tmous/htc_m8:4.4.3/KTU84L/365360.5/user/release-keys.
I flashed stock recovery, but my phone is still root. Did a full wipe/restore, still getting same thing. The error looks like it's not happy about a missing update perhaps, if I'm reading that correctly. Best I know, I have the latest kitkat version. But, I've had twrp for awhile so maybe I missed an OTA update along the way.

If you're SOFF and supercid just flash the lollipop ruu T-Mobile just release. It doesn't matter what previous rom you're on. Then reflash custom recovery and rooted. I've done this alot of time already.

So the steps would be:
- Flash stock recovery via fastboot
- Flash firmware via fastboot
- Flash twrp via fastboot
- Flash Lollipop via twpr
Is this correct?

For me (I am s-on) I did it in this order:
- flashed twrp stock rom
- rebooted and made sure the rom worked
- flashed stock recovery via fastboot
- rebooted and downloaded and installed OTA.
If you are s-off I believe (someone correct me if I am wrong) you can use the RUU instead.
I did have a wifi issue which was solved by a factory wipe ( yes I had to re-install and setup the phone again).

Flashing it will move your phone to stock recovery (Backup folder will not be deleted, you can delete it later on from file manager). But please make sure your device version is eyetuhl.
Hello everyone,
As my thread title suggests, I'm looking for a method to revert back to stock rom and recovery on a zenfone 2 (ze551ml) that is currently running CM13 (6.0.1) with TWRP recovery.
I would really appreciate if you gave me some information on this.
Just use Asus Flash Tool to flash raw file, and it will also relock your bootloader

I don't know but probably you could. But using AFT to flash won't take much time as you modify the ota package and flash, then reflash stock recovery in twrp. AFT will do it all for you.
RAW firmware: http://forum.xda-developers.com/zenfone2/general/z008-z00a-z00d-z00x-raw-fw-collection-t3448966
Flashtool is different from adb sideload. Flashtool = fastboot flashall abc.raw (maybe)
Hi guys i have a rooted himaulatt m9 with twrp on 6.0 stock rom with elementalX kernel and now it is asking for a system update should i download and install it or not i have made a nandroid backup before rooting my phone btw, what should i do? Thanks
Even if you download the update, it will fail to install because you are not fully stock. You need to flash the stock boot image, the stock recovery, and an untouched system_image, all three corresponding to the firmware currently on your device. Then the update will install. If you don't have those files, then you need to find an RUU for your device.

By "stock recovery" I mean the recovery that came with the version of Android you have on your device (before you replaced it with TWRP) so, yes, you need to replace TWRP with the stock recovery.

You need to get a hold of a stock recovery backup corresponding to the Android version you are trying to restore. Otherwise, you'll need to find an RUU.
I've installed the deodexed Dev Rom 2.51.617.32 and I have received the OTA to Oreo, or how can I install Oreo in a developer.
Also I can't run the RUU or I'm making a mistake.

It won't install with TWRP.
You'll also need an untouched fully stock /system partition. Before rooting, and as soon as you install TWRP, you should make a backup of /system if you plan on updating through OTA
Here is the stock recovery for 2.51.617.32
It won't help if you don't have a stock system backup though (that you'll need to restore with TWRP before flashing the stock recovery), but you might be able to find one with a search.
If you are trying to run the Oreo RUU, you'll need to flash the firmware for it first. It's a known issue. The easiest way would probably be to run the 2.51.617.32 RUU, then you should be able to update from there via OTA
I am also on the deodexed Dev Rom 2.51.617.32. I want to go to LeeDroid, but I am not sure how. It looks like I need to be on Oreo. Is there a way to install Oreo manually, while keeping TWRP? Can I just flash the Oreo firmware through fastboot? I'm s-off and unlocked

No tutorial needed. You just need the stock boot.img. Put it into your adb/fastboot folder, then: fastboot flash boot boot.img
Do you need the stock boot.img? If so, tell me here what it says next to "OS" in download mode, and I'll hook you up with it.
