I ask for help. I tried to stitch an insertion from D855 on the F400K, having changed build.prop, Flashtool stopped with a mistake [ERROR]: Partition Change system Partition (Phone! =tot). I stitched KDZ D855 further. System not start. Boot-loop. Flashtool refuses to stitch, model is different. What to do how to return an initial insertion from F400K?
Just so I understand did you try to flash an EU handset with a Korean one?

This method doesn't work, the model already is defined by D855RE
P.S. The problem was solved by dll editing that Flashtool didn't stop at mistakes. DLL were changed by the person maloma from 4PDA forum.

Could you post the solution ? I also encounter the same question . Thanks:crying:
Wait let me get this right.
Which model did you buy.
Which model firmware did you flash?
Changing build.prop doesn't alter the device, the Korean models have different radio's and different partitions flashing the wrong firmware is highly likely to cause an irrecoverable brick.

If you are flash to D855 and download mode is possible, flash with Flashtool back with this dll gfile.ru/abRXC and the insertion of TOT, after flash I recommend strongly to make repeated flash with native dll

You're an RD so im sure you know, ANy idea how to get the d855 to show the LTE bands in the service menu/secret menu?
People have bought it to use in the states on AT&T which uses 700mhz spectrum but cant get it to work and cant change what bands to use since they're not shown at all in the service menu.

Hey, guys.
I was wondering if you know how to get the partition.txt file from an AT&T LG G3 Stock ROM .tot through LG Firmware Extract? I recently bricked my phone is this is the second to last step, but the one I'm having the most trouble with. I have the .tot file as well as the .dll file, but I can't seem to find partition.txt from either of them.
Putting the .dll file in the program just gave me an error, the .tot file basically extracts all the files EXCEPT the one I'm looking for. I tried doing it in BoardDiag as well; it came up with the same results. I'll try to redownload the stock firmware and see if it was incomplete, but I don't think that's likely.
Anyone have any clues?

Ok.Download the .tot file of your stock rom.Kdz not work thats why you neef the .tot file then open boarddiag. At the end of boarddiag, you need to select the bin (in which select the downloaded .tot) and then select the output destination folder where you want to get partition file. Note : During process boarddiag will stuck and the pc shows not responding on boarddiag, dont worry keep it continue until the boarddiag says that the extraction is completed.
If i really help you then you can give me a like ☺☺.

Hey..
I have exact the same Problem while upgrading to 7.0 via tot File. After update stucks after 21% and get same error - 0x2000 invalid command response.
After Battery pulling i´ve used LG Bridge in Software Update Tab and use Correct update error, but LG Bridge tells me there is no Update Error, my System is up to date
I changed some LGUP 8994.dll files, there are some out there...nothing is working.
Try to "downgrade" H81520D_6.0.00_0115.kdz via LGUP, but after 21% it fails too.
So, what next ? Any one a working Idea for me ? Thank you.

LG H815 - error on every firmware
Hi guys,
I have same problem, already been through all the solutions that I have found, including H81520p_00_0314.kdz and replacing DLL from this firmware. Still got error 0x2000 :/ Any ideas? I have checked mainboar and model is H815 without any letter after.
OK, some update - extracting DLL helped, I can flash firmware, but phone stucks on LG logo and don't want to boot up :/
Hello,
Thank you so much, this method worked - H81520p_00_0314.kdz.
Now how can I install another version of android 6, which is officially in Romania? I honestly do not know which version I should install! (V20?-EUR-xx)?
Please give me all the steps to follow to install an official version.
Thx.
PS: my phone is LG H815 International version, Carrier less.

Please unzip and put in C:\Program Files (x86)\LG Electronics\LGUP\model\common
Works with LGUP 1.14

Damn.
I had it working with 1.14, but I thought I had the wrong version. So I uninstalled it.
Now I can't get it to load - wrong dll for VS99620a.
Plus I wanted the developer version of LGUP.
Pretty sure I need the Partition option to flash other-model KDZ.
Hi there,
I need some help because i fell so stupid.... I cannot use the patched DLL for uppercut in order to flash the newest Oreo KDZ for H930...
I installed LGUP 1.14, USB DRiervs, etc... Download and uncompress uppercut 1.0.0.0. I downloaded the patched DLL 1.0.31.9. Even if I copy that dll on the uppercut folder or wherever i copy, the version shown on LGUP is always the 1.0.28.9... SO I cannot flash the latest Oreo KDZ
Help please?
thx in advance

Thanks, but I think the operative word in that quote is "should". I've tried that method with the phone in download mode and with it in its normal operating mode, but LGUP no longer recognises my phone model. I can get the LGUP pop-up with the serial port but the pop-up shows the phone as an unknown model, which I guess is the issue preventing the firmware update.
The version of LGUP_common.dll that I'm using is 1.0.35.3, which should be the latest. Its digital signature is dated Tuesday, 19 December 2017 3:33:29 PM. Its MD5# is c3df15812c1294028bfd330eb725519b.

Here is the reply I received from LG about reverting to Nougat (I asked them to do it for a fee):

… However, I was able to flash my LGH930DS to Oreo for the LGH930DS using LG Bridge after a few attempts (I couldn't get UPPERCUT to revert my phone to Nougat), resolving my issue with using the dual-SIM with the cross-flashed firmware and thus obviating my need to revert to Nougat.
Looking for some guidance please & thanks.
I have a H933, converted using the Frankenstein method to a US998. Then Unlocked BL, TWRP and rooted. Upgraded to US99820d
I would now like to flash back to stock H933. I have installed the Patched version of LGUP. I have extracted the DLL here into a common folder inside the model folder. I put the phone in Download mode, plug it in and then launch LGUP (patched). it finds the device but then errors saying the DLL is not valid for US98820d and to get a compatible DLL.
I recently bought a sprint LG G7 for a really good deal since it was cracked from the back corner. I've been searching around it seems no one is able to unlock it yet.
I was wondering, could I unlock it if I flash the LMG-710EM kdz file from the European unlocked G7?
If not anyone know about how long it takes until someone finds a way to unlock it? It's just sitting there.
I don't think you can flash it if it's still locked and it's still not sure if other versions of the firmware would work on other models since the "EM" one is the only ones that's unlockable ( as far as I know).

There is a guy over at the LG v20 section that has cracked the laf partition stuff for that device, maybe he could possibly be of some assistance to this matter at least the knowledge behind it would be great. His name is @runningnak3d I do believe

You used lgup 1.15 and higher?
Has anyone managed to dump any partitions with lgup from any variant of the G7 thinq?

I believe you need dll version v40 if it even exist you can try the v30 dll just replace the application and the model folder under your os/program files 86 /lg electronics /lgup something like that.
here is what i use for v30 and g6 it auto detects different model's try this and let us know if it works. https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1prmqNlS_0pyElxnd9fTk32JVT5ym0dZ-?usp=sharing

Have you tried this? I dont think it will work because to cross flash the firmware you need to use dl partition if you use refurbish then it will throw an error?
Also in there comments someone said they got an error and phone brick so doesnt work for cross flashing only if its the same model number.
Is there any update on this?
Isn't it's possible to convert it on US version like it was done on V30?
