att note 2 sims card not readin

ok kinda new got a note 2 that was giving to me and the sims card not reading not showing up my imei says device status modified service stat out of service network unknown baseband version unknown kennerl version 3.0.101- saberkernel_47 can some body fix this for me we can pc to pc to make it easier pls thank u

i got it back to stock rom no root i believe but still no signal i swap out the sims tray from a working note 2 that the touchscreen dont work same phone but still not signal pls help

Which stock ROM? It did replace the saber kernel correct?

Help LG G3s D722, problem after flash

Hi, i have LG g3s d722 from our operator Orange. I can clear ROM (Orange instal their application), so I flash latest official ROM D72210d_00.kdz. But after flash have problem with sim card. Sim card is intert in phone, after start, phone can PIN code, but telephone cant search network. Still write NO network. Sim card is on 100% good. I test antoher phone. Somebody help me? thanks

What does it say under your IMEI in System Settings? Does it still show your phones IMEI?

IMEI i check in system and dial *#06#. IMEI are same, than IMEI under battery
modem version is mpss.di.2.0.1.c1c15-00013-m8926daaaanazm-1

Your phone probably doesnt supprt the network frequency that your carrier runs on

before flash works OK, problem with network was after flash official ROM

same problem here before it was fine after flashing cellular service keeps on dropping

Help please no sim card..

Hello its ace 2 rooted and installed Cyanogen 11 but cant accept the sim card.
On logging its asks for sim pin code but when put it in nothing happens theres no network at all tryied with several different sim cards two roms(resurectionremix,anc cm11) also dont know what to do next what i had to do and why thats happens

Is your phone a 8160 / 8160P / 8160L ?

the phone is ok now with stock rom

Was just about to ask that.. I had the same issue with my L. Till I found I needed the Tee folder and change the build # on the system build. Not to much of a hassle, but a pain coz there's not toooo much info out there for the L

|| LG G3 D855 || No Sim Card || Solved !!!

Hello Everyone
A week ago my LG G3 D855 suddenly stopped accepting my sim card with a popup error msg ( Sim card has been removed ....) and the phone restarts with no SIM CARD detected icon.
What I tried:
1- Hard reset.
2- Upgrading to MM.
3- Downgrading to Kitkat.
4- Reflashing the modem with many drivers.
5- Changing Sim Card.
6- Changing battery.
7- Cleaning sim card tray.
8- Add a piece of paper over the sim card when insertion in order to increase contract between sim and pins.
Non of the above solutions worked..
And I found two solutions worked and thought it might help others having the same problem:
1- Changing the SIM Card to an old one works ( the one with large golden surface) and I think this is related to the frequencies and speed. so you can find old sim card and ask your carrier to transfer your number to it.
2- And this was by chance after many tries:
- Open LG Flash Tool 2014.
- Chose appropriate KDZ for your mobile (I used KitKat 4.2.2).
- THE FIRST DROP MENU (Select Type) CHANGE IT TO (CDMA- SmartPhone(wm))
- Proceed with flashing steps with KDZ selected.
BOOOM!!! my device came alive again with simcard detected and full signal.
I don't know the logic behinde that but it worked !

My phone is Cellcom branded (out of US), but I think you can find official firmware for your phone and try.
I tried the solution on Marshmallow the error msg appeared again but less than before.

Note 2 N7100GSMH not registering on network.

I have had the note 2 for about 2 to 3 years and its been working fine I have a S4 too,I swap between phones so sometimes I use the S4 and sometime the Note 2,I was using my S4 for about 6 months and decided to use my Note 2 for a change and put my sim in and turned it on and it would say there is no sim in the phone ,looking at the settings it had no Baseband and no IMEI ,showing as Unknown ,it was on CFW DN4 and was working fine 6 months ago.so I downloaded a ROM from the SamMoblie website for O2UK cos I am with Sky Mobile and they use there network and didn't see why it wouldn't work.
Anyway.
I flashed the ROM with Odin 3.07 and now it recognize the sim but thinks it on O2UK ,it has a baseband now but the IMEI is the wrong number,and it will not registered on the Sky Network,if you go to More Networks in Settings you can see Sky in the list but will not register on there network.(Can't connect to network,try later)
Any ideas why the IMEI has changed,it not the same as the sticker under the battery..?

Hi,
It looks like your EFS partition either got corrupted, formatted, or simply did not mount. The reason you cannot connect to the network is because you're not allowed to. You NEED IMEI because it is used to identify your device. Flashing stock rom wont help you. If you have a backup, go ahead and flash it via recovery. If not, try this link: http://www.androwide.com/2015/07/recover-lost-imei-number-of-android.html
(Insert the exact IMEI that you have on the box/under the battery. It is illegal to fake your IMEI in a majority of countries.)

Can't do any of what it says on the page cos its for a MTK chip,MediaTek,Galaxy Note 2 N7100 don't have that chip.

Have you tried flashing other stock ROMs? Does the imei start with 0049...?

Yes it dose 0049... going to try and fix it with BST dongle,I have flashed original firmware on it now,its 4.4.2,It did have RESURRECTION REMIX on it but can't remember the version maybe the one with Android 5.1.1,then when I put my sim in it to use it after 6 months It would't read the sim,like it was not there and had Baseband Unknown on it..very weird,flashed original firmware on it then it was able to read my sim but then had the 0049... IMEI...??
Hopefully I can fix it with BST dongle,just waiting for the updated version of the BST PCB Adapter V1.1 to be delivered,coming from China.

Looks like the folder containing the IMEI has been corrupted.

It worked,BST fixed it by puting the IMEI back on the phone,I had to type it in,now it connecting to the network,wow,the best thing I have brought in a long time.. so all fixed.
oh and BST works fine on Windows 10 too.
So Now I have backed up its EFS file and can put custom roms on it without worrying about losing my network,at the moment it has original firmware on it 4.4.2.No plan of puting a Custom ROM on it at the moment,just glad I can use the phone again.

I got it from eBay and had to buy a new BST PCB Adapter so it was compatible with 4.4.2 cos the UART cable didn't work ,now it does with v1.2 of the PCB Adapter,I got thats from AliExpress.
