Cant load recovery.img

Hey!!
I dont know what im doing wrong but i cant load my "recovery-clockwork-touch-5.8.4.0-endeavoru.img"
I have unlocked my One X , and when im going to do the recovery step my cmd says error to load recovery..
Help plz

Might sound daft but is recovery in your fastboot folder? And are you typing correctly? Can your pc see your hox?

Yes my recovery *.img is in my fastboot folder and I did just forget to have " " before and after .. And now im setting up my phone

[Q]Install CWM on wildfire s 2012

Hello! I wanted to ask, did not find any way to install CWM on wildfire s 2012?
We just have no one in Russia no one has found a way, can you share anything?

Cwm recovery?

Download cwm recovery.img for wfs...
Plug ur wfs with pc
Switch off ur wfs and open fastboot in bootloader mode.
Open command on ur pc and type:
fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
This would install cwm recovery on ur wfs and then u can flash roms .

Yes, cwm recovery.
the problem is that when I set the recovery, when you try to enter it, the phone curls on htc logo
if you have a phone in 2012, and you have set the recovery, could you share with me the files?

Can you please explain ur problem in details.... I didn't got what you wanna say

I tried to put CWM in several ways: 1) through cmd
2) through the archive PG76IMG
In the first case, the phone hangs when trying to go to recovery (green HTC logo on white background)
The second had 2 options: 1) Phone hangs on parsing ...
2) I gave out a message: "Main version is older"

I get the same problem as you (Trust890). I bought it 2 weeks ago and have try several ways to root my htc wildfire s through CWM but no luck , always get a htc logo with white background when I press the recovery option in fastboot. >.<~
Any solution for this? thanks in advanced.

This was a problem about 6 months now still no solution we need devs that will be willing to work on the cwm for 2012 devices some people report black screen recovery (I'm one of them) and some stuck at HTC logo

I have the same trouble. May be it is posible, turn to htcdev support with this question, and ask them to make some update for our device? Or it wouldn`t be take effect? Sory for my english

Same problem here ,I've been trying for months now . I finally managed to flash cwm last night but everytime I booted into recovery it would work OK until I selected any option then nothing at all would happen

[Q] forgot to copy the RENOVATE room to device's virtual SD card

i have htc one x mobile , i need ur help , i have followed the steps of installing RENOVATE room from this topic ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1705334 ) but i forgot to copy it to the device's virtual sd card and now i cant start my mobile
plz i need ur urgent help

Next time post a question to Q&A please.
Go to bootloader by holding volumedown and power buttons. Then select recovery.
Once you are in recovery select mounts and storage, then select mount usb storage.
With usb cable connected you can copy the rom over to sd card.

use twrp recovery it have option to mount storage

sorrrrrrry guys , but there's kind of mistake , when the device started up only shows the renovated htc one x with big flashing X on the screen ,
nothing comes on

Did you fast boot erase cache?
Are you running jb renovate with a jb hboot?

Samsung grand duos need help

hi :crying:
can anyone help me to fix my device. it's dead.
I did update it after that it did not boot anymore ..
I tried to boot to recovery mode but also it did not .. it gave black screen.
I also tried to boot to download mode but also it did not also the same it gave black screen.
please help .. what can I do

Better to go service center... screen is dead.. Same complaint happened to one xda member..

You can download the original firmware and reflash it using " Odin". Search for tha grand forum to how to do it.

If he cannot go to download mode or recovery mode.. How will he flash stock firmware.. Then he have to learn some magic or what..

I can help you with this. First you need to download Root External 2 Internal SD.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=eu.codlab.int2ext&hl=en
After install, at setting section, tick "send rescan" and "use per default".
At the ext. sdcard device access, chage it to "/dev/block/void/179:9".
Then swap you memory. It should work now.
(It can't make it permanent swap, so the app will try to auto swap it on each boot, tick the "**At boot" option on the menu.)

my problem is that my brother want to change my htc one x rom and accidently in the steps mybe he do something wrong he is a noob just like me :silly: , however the phone restart by it self and blocked in HTC ONE logo sometimes in htc breliant logo and sometimes in a dark screen .. . it seems like there is no system and no rom in my phone . there is no problem with charge the orange light is on the fastboot is work . the problem is that i dont know how to set up a new rom in this case :crying: :crying: :crying: and i want my htc today . . can u help me to back to the originale rom ? or something like that . . just i want to see my phone ON . . please help me with a step-by-step pleaaaase . . . . . . . . . . Enter it and mount the sdcard as a diskdrive, wait a few minutes to let it pop up on the pc. Copy the rom to the sdcard.
Flash the boot.img from that rom (inside the rom zip is a boot.img)
Make a full wipe in the recovery and install the rom.zip
