Hi Everyone
I just curious, is there any chance to have completely single sim UI on H818P? Since i'm not using the SIM2. I mean remove the "call via SIM1" from dialler, remove sim 1 icon from message and notification, and remove no sim status on lockscreen.
I have been try using Xposed G4 tweak, gravity box, but i didn't find the option. I hope someone can help me figure it out.
Thank you so much in advance

I use a 3rd party SMS app that used to show me the senders name on the lockscreen when getting a message.
For some reason that's now stopped and the developer has said his app dos'nt do that.
It deffo used to so it must have been done another way, I can't remember how?
It works with stock, just not 3rd party. I really miss it
Can anyone help?

HTC doesn't allow third party apps to show up in their own notifications area on lockscreen. The only possibility if you ar on stock is, that an app can do pop up notification and wake the screen, such as EvolveSMS, whatsapp or whatsap+.
As I'm running it myself on my secondary unit, I know that there is a venom tweak in Venom ViperOne (M8) ROM to enable user defined apps to show new notification in the HTC lockscreen notification area.
Press "Thanks" if I was of any help to you.
Yeah I'm using venom and have my message app selected but it's not working.
It deffo did work before ?

Hey is there any way I can completely disable the second sim? I don't want to see the empty network icon on the notification bar.

If your rooted ! install xposed and theres a app called hidemissingsim ! which obviously hides the sim which is not in use !
I'm on Lollipop rooted and xposed installed. I just changed my DPI (no clue why I waited this long) and was wondering if there was a way to show at least 3 notifications on my lockscreen. Currently, any more than 2 can't be seen (as shown in the pic) even though I have the screen real estate
Also, what module can remove my carrier name? I can't find one that works on Lollipop

Hey All,
Posted this in Q&A as well, but I thought I might put it here too and expand on it. I originally bought the AT&T H810, but recently picked up the H815 EUR model because I really wanted the FM radio function and the ability to unlock the bootloader, etc. As I started using the H815, I noticed a couple of things that are a little different than the H810, mostly in the lockscreen area:
- On the H810, when you swipe down on the lockscreen, you get the quick settings menu. On the H815, swiping down shows you the current user, not quick settings
- On the H810, when Pattern Lock is selected, you're still able to select a screen swipe effect. On the H815, the only way to get the screen swipe effect option to appear is to select Swipe as the security method.
Any reason why these functions would be different between devices? I've tried playing around with the settings, but I can't seem to get the H815 to match what I was able to do on the H810. If anyone knows if it's possible to change these things, your help would be much appreciated!!
Also, does anyone know if there's a master list of things that are different between variants?
Hi,
Here on Argentina we have the 815 variant and when I swipe down on the lockscreen it gets me my quick settings bar.
Can not confirm the pattern lock, but I'm pretty sure that if you choose that you won't get any swipe effect.
Other thing I now think about: could it be that the variant makes one be able to splitter audio simultaneosuly on Bluetooth and wired headphone and the other does not? I'm sadly on the NOT variant, and that's a feature I 'd like to have...
Thanks for the reply! I'm wondering why mine only lets me see the user menu? Which software version are you running? I have V10D-EUR-XX
Here I attach a screenshot of my drop shade on the lock screen.
My software version says v10a-722-34.
I guess it's an old one as I heard on these forums about 10f.
I have issues with the knock on feature some times...

No need for two of the same thread.
Plus it is an XDA rule, as this would be considered spamming the forum

Hey all,
Does anyone know how to remove the Unknown Sim Icon when using a non-verizon sim card?
In the past, i installed the xposed module called flat style bar indicators. However, when I installed xposed, that involved installing FlashFire. I then discover later that my FlashFire completely removed the ability to go into Download mode
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks,
I would love to know as well. Thanks
When you say "in the past" do you mean on this Verizon LG G4? I was wondering if XPOSED works on LG G4. I loved it on my Galaxy S5.
Also what is the download mode that you say you lost?
Yes, installed Xposed on one of my G4's, unfortunately, doing so broke going into download mode which is a major pain in the butt. If you do install Xposed, let us know if you lose download mode...
Thanks
Answer :
Currently, you definitely need xposed to remove the unknown Sim icon. There are two xposed modules that can achieve this tweak :
- Flat Style Bar Indicators
- G4 Tweaksbox
I went with Flat Style since it's free.
Unfortunately, with G4 Tweaksbox, that feature is a paid feature
Again, I wish there was a way without xposed but oh well...
Kill unknown SIM icon
I know so little about Android that I can only ask if such a thing is possible: Can someone create an app to simply update (spoof) the SIM card's SKU_ID to a legal value and thereby suppress the unknown SIM icon? The alternative is to buy a new phone for $150-200. Therefore, I'd gladly pay $5-10 for the app.

I think this problem was fixed in some update, but for me this is not a big problem.
The difference is that my icon is not on the right side - it is on the left.
I can simply slide down the notification bar and swipe the "non-verizon sim" notification to the left side.
Its gone.
This works for me out of the box on Android 6.0 version VS98625A. No need for root or xposed.
You have to do it every time you reboot the phone but its a small price to pay for the phone coming GSM unlocked out of the box.
I am not sure if perhaps this is something that is a problem in the newer versions or the older ones. (Whether Verizon fixed this feature or broke it)
Here is the only link i could find to this firmware.
https://www.fshare.vn/file/SZDKF6CXCO33
Click the white download button, wait 60 seconds, then wait like 3 hours to download. Probably would not hurt for someone to upload this to another mirror, or confirm if this fix remains through later versions.
Looks you can swipe it away in MM now, in LP only rooting and using the methods described above helps.
