I'm on Lollipop rooted and xposed installed. I just changed my DPI (no clue why I waited this long) and was wondering if there was a way to show at least 3 notifications on my lockscreen. Currently, any more than 2 can't be seen (as shown in the pic) even though I have the screen real estate
Also, what module can remove my carrier name? I can't find one that works on Lollipop

I really like the idea of some of the features from paranoid android. halo, pie, and extended desktop are the 3 features I wanted to use most on a daily bases. The problem for myself was that on the ports gps didn't work neither did wifi AP or samsungs smart dock which i use daily, not only that but Samsungs rom and kernel are more programmed for the phone itself as apposed to an aosp rom(which means better performance or so i'm told). So what i have done is used a few apps to replicate the features I want from paranoid android on my Touchwiz rom(cleanrom 4.7).
1. halo: To get this feature I used an app called floating notifications. It's not as feature rich as halo but it can display the text of my notifications like sms and gmail and I can click on them to open the app.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2263987&nocache=1&z=4138043767306953
2. Pie: I used lmt launcher, I assume most people are familiure with it by now. If not check out the link below.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1330150
3. extended desktop: This one is a little tricky, i used hide bar by good mood droid (GMD). This doesn't just hide the bar it shutdowns that process making it unusable. Plus resents must be tied into that process because I can't use that either. To help not being able to access the toggles and other info in my notification shade I used an app called glovebox, which is a side bar app. I put some widgets in it for weather and toggles for easy access. Losing the ability to use resents isn't that bad I can deal with it but I use next and previous app in lmt launcher to help
get around.

So what does everyone think?
*I would like to thank all of the developers of these various apps. The flexibility of android is what makes it great.
I dunno about #2 but the first couple would be best solved with a new rom. Flash clean rom 4.9

Floating notifications is nothing like halo unless they have a hidden option to open the entire app in a pop up then floating notifications shouldnt be there

Right I know that, It won't display the app but my notifications that normally show up in my notification shade show up in the app floating notifications.
I'm new to xposed. What all have you guys done to your phone with it that is compatible with our phones?

Personally, I'm running at 320dpi, lots of Wanam tweaks, Apex launcher with hidden status and doc bars, extra toggles, replaced the crappy boot animation, added apps to menus, new keyboard, Volume boost, DPI tweaks, and that was within sight hours of purchasing the phone. Who knows what I'll get into today.
Honestly I will miss nandroids but with so many tweaks it feels like a custom rom. I basically made this phone into a 6" tablet. I think I can be happy with this phone for a while (kept the N2 for 9 months - that's a record for me)

How did u replace the boot animation I can't get that to work
Sent from my SM-N900V using Tapatalk 2
Lots of Wanam Tweaks, the only xposed module I really need. Samsung Keyboard Short Delay - it shortens the long press delay in the samsung keyboard.and 5x4 stock launcher when I use touchwiz, but that's rarely.
App Settings - changes DPI on per app basis
Boot Manager- android's version of Windows msconfig to disable apps from starting at boot
Disable Clear Defaults Dialog(annoying pop up box when you set an app as a default)
Disable Location Consent(annoying pop up box for agree/disagree when you enable Google location services)
Enable Call Recording
Greenify
Maximize Widgets - by default on lock screen
Notify Clean - can restrict apps from notifications on a per app basis
Tinted Status Bar
Wanam Xposed
XPrivacy - can restrict apps permissions on a per app basis
Xposed Tablet UI - CANT GET IT TO WORK!
How did you get the 5x4 stock launcher. I've been trying and searching

Open file manager with root settings and mount system folder for write. Renamed current boot files with a bak. Label. Pasted the ones from another post in and it works. The files were posted somewhere around here as being from a N2. It's much better than the white crap but not just any old anni
I am using xThemeEngine.

GakuGaku has ported blinkfeed from sense 6 over to work on various phones running 4.4. I originally came across this from an article that stated this port works on the Nexus 5. I have tested it and found that it also works on the Sprint LG G2. They are up to version 9 which comes with different theme colors. This is WIP and there are bugs. For instance Facebook isn't working with this blinkfeed port as of yet. Also since there are portions of sense 6 with this port to make the blinkfeed work, there are "grid" issues and therefore a lot of widgets don't work on other screens. Once installed you will have kind of a hybrid between sense 6 and LG Home. The softkey menu, the app drawer and windows are all sense 6 but your Lg Home notification area is still there and the main settings menu is still LG home. You can also turn off blinkfeed/sense 6 by going into settings and changing your launcher back to LG home.

thanks for the heads up!! Works great! No sense (harhar) in waiting, the process is super easy.
I found a work around for the grid issue. If your running xposed then download and install the "App Setting" module. This will allow you to change your DPI per app. Once installed, open up HTC Blinkfeed in the app list in the App Setting module. Change your DPI from 0 to 380.
Now set up all your favorite screens and widgets. Don't worry about everything look out of place and not centered. Don't worry about re-sizing widgets either at this point. Just get them on the screens where you want them.
Now go back into the app setting module and edit the HTC Blinkfeed DPI to 480. Now everything should look a lot better. For whatever reason we cannot add a lot of the widgets in the 480 dpi setting even though that's what fits best and is centered. However if you add them in another DPI then they will stay there when you change back to 480.
so this only works by flashing through custom recovery right?
I factory reset and not ready to root yet.

Anyone successfully install? I haven't tried yet.
yeah i had it installed with a few mods. nothing is really made for the tab yet though so I uninstalled it. I used this gs5 mod to remove the s finder and connect buttons in the drop down.

It would be cool if someone got around to creating an app specifically for the Tab S lines. Kind of like how there is G2 Tweaksbox for the G2. Thanks for the s finder/connect tip.
yeah i love the g2 Tweaks apps. use them daily.

I'm using it with Wanam. Only changed a few things. Changed battery to circle, center clock with date, changed quick settings toggle color, using a pic for pull down background and changed the text on the lock screen. Haven't noticed any problems.

I also used xposed g-touchwiz to remove the finder and connect buttons..and pictures2sd enabled rw to all apps
Is there any trick/tweak that enables you to drop down the top bar (wifi, data, gps, etc) while the tablet/phone is still locked?
Ohh.. and one to disable the 'sd card inserted' message at start would also be nice ..
Thx
Anyone have any idea?
I isn't possible stock or so I read. This is a bump for you though because I would like to reclaim that real estate myself. Ideally I would like to delete the text below the icons as well to get another 1/4 inch back along with losing the unused s finder and quick connect boxes.
Somehow those options disappeared from my phone and I really didn't noticed until recently, only things I can tell you is that i'm using Nova Launcher.
Hmm. I'm using nova launcher too, still have those buttons.
I really dislike touchwiz, with cyanogenmod I could save probably about 1 1/2 inches of space in the notifications window.
If my buttons go away I'll let you know.
