[Q] Li-ion or Li-pol in HTC One X?

Hey guys, what type of battery is in our device? Someone say Li-ion, somewhere is written Li-pol.. in the phone there is no info. So, what is correct?

Lithium-Polymer is a type of Lithium-Ion battery. There is a Lithium-Polymer battery inside the One X even though the box and test menu says otherwise. It has to be a Lithium-Polymer battery anyway to fit in the One X and HTC have confirmed it as well.

But I am from Europe - the Czech republic.. is possible that our HTC has another battery type?
Btw, I had HTC Evo 3D before One X.. so I guess Evo 3D was Li-ion.. what will be difference between Evo 3D Li-ion battery and One X Li-pol battery?

It had a Lithium-Polymer battery. Pretty much all modern cell phones use a Lithium-Polymer battery pack.

alternative battery for desire

is there any alternative and better battery for desire that will last longer? and i dont want that big battery with alternative back
any1 knows whats mah on stock battery ?

does any1 know what is g7 and a8181?
do they have same battery?

this is a battery i baught from a phone repair shop, its pretty good, battery life is a bit better but not huge difference if im honest. notice it more with sense roms

its double mAh from standard battery is it increase at least 20-30% battery life?

yh id say thats bout right, probably more 20% tho but really depends, like playing games there aint to much difference than stock but for everyday, phone calls, emails, messages etc its pretty good.

I've bought a few supposedly long life batteries from eBay, eventually i bought a genuine HTC replacement through Amazon and it is much better.

tried the 2430Mah battery they are fake i peeled off the sticker to mine to reveal a label underneath saying 1400mah :/ dont buy the cheap chinese one's RIP OFF !!!

edit: mine doesnt say that.

Battery life is a pretty important feature of a phone, if HTC could have had double the capacity for just a couple of quid I'm sure they would have, but they didn't, suggesting that the cheap "gold" and double life batteries aren't what they suggest (and that's certainly borne out my my use of copy batteries.)

HTC Desire C Extended Batteries. would you recommend?

hi everyone!
I'm using HTC Desire C. got no problem with battery before my software was updated from ICS 4.0 to 4.0.3 2 months ago. after the update, i noticed battery life dropped drastically, and CPU uses heavy power, makes my phone laggy even after just a bit of gaming (NFS Shift and inotia 4). but really, that's not the issue here. i just want to buy a spare battery for my unit, and i doubt i can buy some HTC accessories here in the Philippines. when i saw an Extended battery for Desire C on Ebay, (there was one 1500mah battery, 2pcs in the set, and other was 2430mah Gold battery and still, a 2680 mah Gold business battery. would you guys recommennd it? help please?

Battey Replacement

My phone's battery is getting drained very fast, I am not getting backup even for a day, just using 3G and Calls. So i think its better to replace the battery. Can anyone tell me where I can get genuine battery for our HTC one V and its price.

My One V battery isn't as efficiency as original too. One V 's model is T320e battery, I just search it on ebay and found there are many available. You can search One V battery on youtube, there are vids to teach you DIY and it's easy. Remember to buy the smartphone assemble/re-assemble toolkit on ebay as well.
Personally, I'll buy it on taobao(Chinese ebay) as cheaper there but only ships China/HK/TW.....

You can try calibration your battery if you rooted. I've tried battery calibration app on One V and it actually helps a bit because I was crazy flashing roms plus supercharged v6 and made the phone battery statistic got mad.

just stop disassembly at 1:03, that's enough to remove the battery. done in 5 mins.
edit: an ORIGINAL htc one v battery (bk76100) is a must imho - yes, it costs 15 EUR instead of the 10 for the nonames, but i read some fakes don't give ANY temp reading to the system and that's simply not acceptable lol

M9 battery in m8 ??

Has anyone tried to put an m9 battery inside an m8 or know if it would work ? They both appear to be the same physically, with the m9 battery just slightly larger in capacity

I put an M9/M8s battery in my M8 about an hour ago. It did fit without a problem.
The phone works and is charging at the moment.

hows the battery life, have you noticed any difference ?

I have m9 battery in my m8...i tried to replace the volume buttons and during that i damaged my battery and the screen heheehhe... Then i must buy new screen and battery and decided to upgrade it with the m9 battery... The screen was brand new and also the baterry. Now i have problems with touch screen and the phone turns off randomly with sound off low battery. When i turn it on the battery is not low... And i got a half inch dead touch strip on my screen... Can this be because of the m9 battery, bad voltage or somnthing similar...

Just to confirm, the m9 battery works normal and that random reboots was not related to the battery... But i dont see any upgrade in the battery life...

Just replaced mine yesterday, phone dont recognize the extra 240mamps, one thing, does your battery temperature always shows 25C? Even if its hot or cold?

Yes it shows 25C. But in TWRP it shows the real temperature... I just wonder, if the phone doesn't recognise the extra 240mah, does it use them? I will share tomorrow my battery life... I am on lineage os and battery life is pretty solid...

I promised to share the screenshots of my battery life with the m9 battery in my m8...i am on latest lineage os and very satisfied with it... cheers

I found some 3000 mAh battery on ebay, do you think it's possible to equipe M8 mobile? I have also a M9 will it work? @Gara91: does the phone recognise the extra battery or not?

Interesting, maybe next time I need to change the battery I get M9 battery. I was thinking could HTC 10 3000 mAh battery fit to M8? I tried to look up their dimensions but can't find anywhere.

I did a quick search and they seem similar - same connection, similar looking, but a longer ribbon.
I don't think it will fit, but we won't know until someone tries.

I used an M9 battery in my M8. Installed literally 1 hour ago. Taking its first charge now.
