the problem is when i boot the phone into rom, there is no imei and baseband version unknown, so how to get back the imei and baseband? i have gain s-off, and i write my imei using fastboot but the problem still persist. can someone help me? please urgent

Based on someone else experience (but on other version), reflashing firmware may be able to fix it.
Download 6.15.720.2 OTA.zip and extract out the firmware.zip - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=65126875&postcount=2574
run these commands :
fastboot oem rebootRUU
fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
You'll see -
if failed : FAILED (remote: 90 hboot pre-update! please flush image again immediately)
repeat fastboot flash zip firmware.zip
after it says successful ..
fastboot reboot
then see whether the problem is fixed or not.

i have htc m8 lastr night i reset my mobile after unknown imei

It has to have that version number and "endeavoru" in the name.
Or, maybe the 2.17.751.x as I think the bootloader has not been updated.
You need to find a RUU with x.xx.751.x
I cant see the network provider that that code represents: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=31558256&postcount=54
If you can get into fastboot type the following "fastboot getvar cid" and hit enter. Once you find your cid have a look on http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=16186408&postcount=1 to find your provider.
Once you have your provider try and find the correct RUU (you can not flash a lower RUU than the one already installed) http://www.filefactory.com/f/7cc7b2fbdd03c031/
Make sure you relock your bootloader by typing in fastboot "fastboot oem lock" and then flash the RUU in fastboot.
If you cant find the rom pm football as he might be able to get it.
Hope it helps

No wifi no network...

Hi everyone, I have a HTC One M8 locked on SFR (France)
The phone was on stock Rom but I changed it to Custom Rom and unlocked the bootloader but I had this issue with networks : no wifi, no data..., so I returned to Stock Rom but nothing changed.
the command
Code:
fastboot getvar all
return
Code:

but it's weird, the version-main field is empty
Maybe it's the reason of the problem?
I already tried to flash the stock recovery for VODAP203 (Vodafone FR).
Thanks for you help
TWRP made the main version disappear. Check the general section - collection of backups and firmwares. Read there and put 1+1 together. Take your bootloader number 3.16 and your cid vodap203 and match a backup from the list. My guess it starts with 1.12 or 1.54. Restore it and also flash back the matching stock recovery and then update
Thanks for your reply, I checked the files you said here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2701376
but no one match with the bootloader or the cid number.
And what do you mean about : "Read there and put 1+1 together" ?

That was about the bootloader and cid. With those 2 you can determine the software number. Don't see your actual cid present but you can try it with the 161 backup
Take the 1.54.161 and try it with that one. No harm can be done in trying

Installing Lolipop RUU from Marshmallow, S-OFF, unlocked

Hi, my phone is currently S-OFF running on marshmallow, but I would like to install the RUU below due to the issue with my phone's IMEI. Apparently the IMEI is lost and that's causing no network detected.
RUU_M8_UL_L50_SENSE60_MR_hTC_Asia_WWE_4.19.707.2_Radio_1.25.21331147A1.06G_20.69.4196.01_F_release_414204_signed.exe
The problem is I keep getting the [error] 159 image error when trying to run the RUU, the phone is unlocked.

Do fastboot getvar all and post the result (delete IMEI if applicable, and serial number, before posting), so we can see info about the phone.

RUU is correct for your version. The RUU is Lollipop, and the present main version on the phone is Marshmallow. Normally, its okay to "downgrade" with s-off. But there has been a change with Marshmallow, where if you try to go back, you need to flash the 4.19.707.2 firmware first, then the RUU should install properly.
Not sure if you will find the 4.19.707.2 firmware posted anywhere. But if not, you can look in your Windows temp folder for ROM.zip after trying to run the RUU. Inside ROM.zip, you should find firmware.zip.

I couldn't seems to be able to locate the ROM.zip file you mentioned anywhere in Windows temp file, after running the RUU.exe.

Recovery won't load?

Hi Guys,
So basically I keep trying to put twrp recovery on my HTC One M8 and when I go for a new version of twrp and flash it on to my HTC it appears with "FAILED (remote:image error! (BootMagic check fail))", however when I put on an older version of twrp it works fine until I load up recovery where it stays on the boot up screen and won't go past that forcing me to force power off the phone. I have a standard HTC One M8 with Android 6.0.1 and the phone is "Unlocked" with S-ON, HBoot version is 3.19.0.0000.
Thank you for reading and I hope someone can help

So you ran the RUU, and the original question is no longer relevant?
You have the AT&T version M8, which is SIM locked by default. Was it SIM unlocked before at any time? It's not clear from what you have described so far.
(bootloader) security: on > nead to unlock
so your device may be LOCK or RELOCK > you need to UNLOCK again to Flash TWRP
