Hi all. 2 days ago I put my Zenfone into recovery mode to clear the cache. After hitting Clear Cache, it ran for 10 minutes. Nothing showed on the progress screen so I foolishly turned it off. Now when I put it into recovery mode and hit the power button, it just reboots into the normal boot mode screen with the other 3 options. Yesterday I got the flashing error sign. Does anyone have a link to the latest stock recovery image? I have already set up an RMA with Asus, but I have data and photos I would like to get off of the device. I am set to send it in on Monday, so if there is any way to fix it before then I would be thrilled. I bought a Zenfone 2 Laser to use in the mean time, which My wife will get when mine is repaired. I really need your help. A few days ago, i just watched a video, and suddenly my note 2 restarted into a bootloop (MXPlayer). It is rooted and owns the last official stock rom with CWM touch 6.0.4.3 or smth. i took the battery out, plugged it in again - nothing changed. I tried to enter into the download mode, (Vol+Power+home) but as he asked me to press the volume button - no reaction at all! so i werent able to enter into odin mode anymore. (normally it solved such problems for me). I sent it to samsung, they said, that my garantee is void (rooted). i bought myself a USB jig. with his help i were finally able to enter download mode again but - my god - it crashes every 5 seconds so it wont be possible to flash my device. is there any clue (maybe via PC or smth) to force my phone not to restart, or to force to do a full wipe? (including that broken memory or what ever there doesnt work anymore) i would be happy for some advice. thanks in advance! i hope my phone is not fullbricked, because i were able to get into download mode - just that restarts destroy me everything.

Hi guys, hope you can help me I`ve tried everything I can.
Following a mishap yesterday, my Note 2 which was successfully running Resurrection Remix Android 5.1 for the past 6 months has now been bricked, i think is the term.
My son accidentally updated the RR5.1 to a newer version then the phone went low batt. I restarted the phone and got the message Encryption Unsuccessful --> Reset your phone, which i did. (I read somewhere afterwards that it might have been a mistake to hit reset.)
Now my phone is stuck in Teamwin screen mode which is flashing and it does nothing. I restarted the phone into Android Odin mode, Vol- + Home + Power button and it says "Downloading.... Do not turn off target!!" which has been now showing on my phone for more than 5 hours.
To top this wee problem, since I could use Odin on my laptop to mount a Teamwin Loader and flash a new ClockworkMod 5.1.1 OS on it which I have BUT...............and heres the big BUT.....
None of my USB ports recognize my phone, installed 2 versions of the Samsung USB drivers and still nothing. So WHAT can I do other than what I already have been doing.
And a reminder before anyone tells me to enter this and that on my keypad...... PHONE STUCK IN ODIN and TEAMWIN splash screen.

First at all, I'm french: excuse me if my English isn't... very good.
I have a Zenfone for a while now,
I rooted it long time ago, unrooted and rooted it again after.
I unlocked the bootloader with the official tool from ASUS one month ago.
Three days ago, I was using my phone normally and Android just crashed... It rebooted. 3 minutes after, it just crashed again.
The rebooting was just... really long so I decided to reboot it by pressing PWR button. I made it one time again cause the booting took lot of time.
It didn't work, so I got the idea to wipe the cache. I gone to bootloader and recovery, and I started the process.
5-10min after, cache wasn't already cleared. I rebooted the phone again by nervoussness, and... after the black on white ASUS logo, a dead Android appears and blinked every... 4 seconds. I can't do anything like booting into bootloader.
I there just... Something I can do ? :crying:
I really need help... the Sagem my201X is definitly not a phone...

And they told me to wipe cache partition and i was doing so... And it was taking a lot of time so i powered off my phone and restarted and my phone wont go to recovery mode now and whenever i try to reboot there is a dead android bot sleeping... And flashing!!!! PLEASE HELP ME!!!!!
I cannot go into recovery mode as well. After seeing the dead robot error and pushing up volume then power button renders a blank or black screen. What can I do now?

I did the same with mine in April. Restarted it before it was done wiping cache. I had to do an RMA andcsend it in to Asus Canada. I had it back in a week and a half. Phone Asus and see what they can do for you.

You can try the raw file with asus flashtool and after adb sideload the last firmware.
If you can get into fastboot mode. Try "fastboot erase cache"

I found out how to get into recovery. On mine once I get to the sleeping robot, I first pressed and held the power button then the up volume momentarily and it worked. Phone is fixed but it sucks losing much of my data and configuration.

So I decided to install Cm13 on my Zenfone 2 (Z551ML) and before flashing TWRP i had tried unlocking the bootloader. Well, I went on to Asus's page and downloaded the official bootloader unlock, but as it said that I have to have the latest version of android available to my model(I don't think I actually even need it in order to unlock), I decided to update the phone. Well, It took an awful long time and it still wasnt done, and I ran out of patience, so I just held down the power button to reboot... Aaaand my phone wouldn't boot, I would only get the asus screen and the spinning dots but not past that. Great. Well, the bootloader and recovery modes still worked yesterday, but now I can't get to recovery mode. And when im in bootloader mode the screen would just turn off every few seconds for a half a sec or so. So basically the only thing I can do with my phone is boot it to bootloader. If i try to boot normally it just says "error"(yesterday it got to the asus screen but now - just error)
