Hi there! Is there anybody who could extract modem from stock FW 14.5.A.0270? I need to flash it through fastboot, because, sadly, I have changed my network settings to USA band and so, my phone is without working baseband.

I have been playing around with this firmware and it's really different from original for defy. Only have two smg files : ramdisk and flex but I'm unable to decompile the last one so until I can find a way to do it, this phone remains unrootable for me.

There are only two stock firmwares and one of them is demo unit...

My zl originally shipped with c6502 fw .395 .
since receiving it i have flashed this C6503 fw .350 rom and every thing works great.
I even find that my wind mobile data is faster.
Thanks, would you know if Lte does indeed work after flashing the 6502 with the 6503? Someone mentioned it another thread. But it disappeared after a reboot. Hoping some deva can get this to work permanently.

I already had the .434 update on it. But then I installed a wrong mod and I had a bootloop.
So i flashed the .350 FW from bin4ry. Now I want to install the .434 update again...
Can I flash the generic nordic Firmware on my device? Think this would be the easiest way.

Original uploaded.net link works, but is painfully slow for me.
The German ROM should differ from Nordic in respect that it should have some extra app (like Mobile McAfee and XPeria Privilege)

You can flash C6505 from what I read without issues. I would do a backup either way...you know better safe than sorry.
I flashed C6502 on my C6506 without issues....I assume the other way around works too.

My wife has a P6S-U06 phone (the Dual-SIM version of P6 with slightly stronger processor) and today morning the phone indicated that there is OTA firmware update. I downloaded it through WiFi and installed it, but without success. I repeated the whole process twice more, thinking that it might be an incomplete download. But the flash always 'FAILED'. (See attached picture)
The OTA upgrade should have updated the P6S-U06 B128 firmware version to B131.
What could be the problem? What can I do?
Ok, finally I resolved the problem. The B131 is out now and I flashed the full ROM. Then immediately came the 4.4 ROM as OTA upgrade and I installed it too.

Well, it's quite simple. From the downloaded zip you extract the 'dload' folder and put it into your internal memory. Then start Update app on the phone and choose local update.

After flashing B131 the phone indicated that there is a new online (OTA - Over the air) update. I downloaded it by Wi-Fi and installed it.
Now my firmware version is B202 SP03. It is Android 4.4, Emotion UI 2.3. The OTA update did not delete my data. All apps, settings remained unchanged.

Thank you but seems like the upgrade to 4.4 is no longer available. Thanks again for the help. Maybe I will just try to look for any possible link to download the firmware.

Hey I searched everywhere for the B131 file but cannot find it. Do you still have and if so is it too much trouble to ask you to uploaded ?
I've tried updating to b208 b207 b202 but all of them fail during the update

Last week I bought a P6S too. My version is B128. As I see on Huawei chinese local site, there's a newer firmware version. ( Ascend P6S（P6 S-U06,Android 4.4，Emotion UI 2.3，V100R001C17B208SP01)) Did you update yet to this version? Which version are you using?
I'm bit afraid to brick my phone during the update, therefore I would like to make a backup before. How can I make a full backup? Root permission is needed to that action?
Anybody tried this firmware? (P6 S-U06,Android 4.4，Emotion UI 2.3，V100R001C17B208SP01) Is it OK?

I have already answered to you at another thread.
My wife is using now the same V100R001C17B208SP01 firmware on her P6S-U06 phone. The system is very smooth, we cannot recognise any bug of that ROM. So, I strongly recommend to use it!

I've tried to do the same thing with my phone but the system says that 'Update was not found'. I have the same B128 version. Does anybody know what can cause such an error?

after rooting, i made a factory reset and i got a trouble , now i need the rio l03 rom but i can't find it
can i use the Rio-l01 ROM on my Rio-l03? sorry 4 my bad english.
Maybe these?
He will need the file for the RIO-L03C567B141 near as I can tell. The other roms are for single sim versions of the device and as such might just brick it.
How did you root?
He may be referring to unlocking the bootloader which isn't the same thing and may be part of why he's looking for the firmware file.
