Downgrade from b512 stock 4.4.2 to 4.2.2 stock original..

Hi there everyone.
I have an Ascend P6 and updated it through local download to b512 4.4.2 version Kitkat. Now I want to revert back to original stock 4.2.2 rom. I havent done anything else with the device including root and etc etc.
I am a newbie at this so kindly do share the method and experience.

Download B111 GeneralVersion from Huawei Homepage and follow the instructions in the downloaded file.

Thank you... Yes already did that... And it was successful...

hm..
i did it through flashing the b132 boot and recovery img..
then i put b132 Update.app in dload folder on sdcard and made a Force Update..
worked without Problems..

Hi heross, I did everything like You suggested and right now my system in ascend p6 during the 30 min cannot stand up. I see only the android logo. I understand that jump to JellyBean from Kitkat could be time-consuming process, but 30 minuts? I've got b512 and download to dload folder b111 as You suggested. What should I do? Please help, 'coz I'm not so smart with this.

Hey, I reboot my phone and new b111 system lauched, uff... but right now I see that i lost the slide bar from screen with shortcuts (sound off, gps, wifi, etc.). Could I just install b125 to get this bar? What shold I do?

-Do a Factoryreset from systemmenu. -> if it dosn't help, flash again B111.
-Or search for "P6_Unicom_EMUI2.0..zip" and flash it over LocalUpdate, then flash B125 directly.

I did a factory reset - no effects, then I flashed again b111 - nothing changed.
I have no idea how to find emui 2.0 zip package, I 'd searched a lot. Any idea bro? To be honest, I really don't want to experiment with custom rooms, kernels and sth like that, coz I'm simple android user. Guys, please help me.

Hey, I downloaded this emui 2.0 and tansfer this file called UPDATE.app to dload on SDcard, and flashed on local update. Results? "FAILED" on "reboot mode" (or sth like that - moment, when update is on the way...). I have no idea what i should to do. Some history about my ascend p6:
I bought him when he had b102, I upgrade him to b125, then to b132, then to b510, end at least b512. After using Kitkat from 1 month I decided to cameback to JellyBean and b125. On many forums I read that it's not so simple, many users were lost notification bar or had a different problems. Because of this, i gave up for next few weeks and I thought: it's too difficult. 3 days ago I read on this forum to install b111 and that's all. Unfortunately, i lost my not. bar. Guys, I really ask you to help. It is possible to fix this without root, bootloaders, kernels etc etc???

B111 is not the most stable version of Emui 1.6 Jb 4.2.2 .. and i think the bootloader is locked on this firmware.
For downgrade use B125 or B132 for the P6-u06

B132 : http://huaweinews.com/2014/03/ascend-p6-b132-firmware/
The method is the same : stock recovery , update.app in sdcard\dload

Hi Skyllery, before I'll do like You suggested, look at my situation: actually, after my try to downgrade to JB, my p6 loaded on 2 try b111system version without shortcut icons on "up" notification bar (I've got only bar with hour, date and actual informations like new sms etc.) I've searched solution on forums, and because of my weak english skills I didn't understand some guy and dload extra arrow to hide "down" bar, not new not.bar with icons. I wish to come back this icons on this bar, that's all. Before my upgarde to higher versions of system I didn't have this arrow to hide bar. Now my p6 "live" normally. I did a factory reset, I wonder what to do: 1) Dload b125 or 2) b132???

Oh you are my neighbour xD (Slovenia).
No need you can just flash the international or else. I flashed I think Caribbean .ftf and it is working fine and dandy.

Well, flash any 4.1 firmware, change the regional code inside build.prop and update via pc companion, if unlocked bootloader, download update, create firmware file and flash it.

i've already tried CE and other versions of 4.3, even succeed to flash indian 1904, did work but it didnt feel good, updates for programs came later then on other roms, but somehow the first ROM i had on it felt best. I did find 4.3 version but initial, nope...

Get root and then edit build.prop, and update via pc companion... It will work...

Huh. I have Vipnet too and I don't experience problems with FTF's, and I use the WORLD version of the firmware. Here's a link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2781799

Yeah. Although that was on a different update. I believe they have issues with OTA updates.

I just received the update "Elephone P8000 20150909222555", is it a new one?
I just let it install through the recovery and it is now stuck in the Elephone logo while booting! FML

And the only "news" in this ROM update is that they've changed default launcher to a spyware/trojan included x-launcher, complete b*ll**** nonsense from Elephone dev.

I don't use SIM 2 so it won't affect me. But I've seen they mentioned some IMEI issues that causes this problem with some SIM cards.
They also mentioned some issues with the launcher they use (spam, adverts etc). Do you have these issues as well?

I've always used the nova launcher without issues. Before I upgraded today sim 2 was working fine. I bought this phone for dual sim and now it doesn't work

Check if your IMEI is ok.
If not check the solution posted here

I had the exact same problem after ota update (stuck at bootimage)...
I precisly followed this guide: bbs.elephone.hk/thread-1037-1-1.html#.VfpyK7P7vtS and it works again.
With this Firmware version i could use ota without breaking my device. I think OTA just didn't work for the 07/09 firmware version I had on my phone.

Go to your Settings->About Phone->Status->IMEI information
There you can see the IMEI for each SIM slot. If it's messed up for a one slot I guess that's the reason a SIM card won't work.
For example there a 15 digit number for Slot 1 and 2 and then a 2 digit number for SV for each slot.
FYI, I never use the 2nd slot so I'm not sure if it's working or not.
Hope this clarifies at least something for you and you'll be able to fix your phone.

The update is not buggy for me. Everything seems to be working fine (2 SIMs etc). No problems so far. As for the launcher I always use Nova myself so I don't know what the problem is with the new one. Aesthetically though it is a lot better than it was, because it resembles stock (it has app drawer etc).
Just don't install OTA

Yeah, I had to follow the guide on how to flash the device since the OTA soft-bricked the phone. It was a bit of a hassle doing so in Windows 10 but it is doable

I'm trying to do mine on Windows 8.1 but i have some issues with the driver. Got any tips?
I'm installing the driver but I get some errors at the end of the installation. Then I connect my phone, in the device manager i get the driver name there for a few secs and then it goes away.

EMUI 5 (Nougat) B320 via Firmware Finder!

Hey guys!
I am Vivek from Ahmedabad, India. I am writing this just to let you all know about my recent experience with FF!
I bought my 6X (BLN-L22) like 2 months back and couldnt get any official ota even after waiting this long. I tried to contact the EMUI admin in Facebook and they told me that its being pushed to individual devices gradually. Now as promising as it sounds, how long is someone supposed to wait right?
Now, I came across an ocean of unfavorable and negative reviews about FF here in XDA and also in other websites. A lot of people complained about disappearance of updater and app twin along with other apps. While others complained of buggy performance or some other issues with the camera. But what I later found out was that people were trying to jump from an old release to the latest one without patching the previous releases of the full OTA in FF!
Some people had issues while jumping from 301 to 320 and some from 310 to 320. And some had twrp installed so its obv to face random issues anyway. Well, I was in B132 all this time and I didnt know what to patch first. But I read somewhere that my release and B320 were stables ones compared to others. So I backed up every single thing from my phone and took the risk only to see if all the hype about FF was true or not...
And to my surprise, it actually worked!! I simply flashed my phone to B320 from B132 using the proxy method and it all happened within an hour. I am on Nougat (EMUI 5) now and its super smooth. I have all the new features like App twin and box based push notifications. I even have the updater file which many complained of vanishing after flashing. It all worked just fine!
I was given a little inspiration by a guy named Gopi here for trying out the FF after all those crazy reviews. He said "You never know unless you try". And I went for it! haha!
So go ahead folks! B320 through FF is what you need if you dont wish to wait too much for the OTA. Special thanks to the developers of FF for this!

So previously if we update manually everyone is facing only minor issues. But the main which some have reported is if you factory reset after the update then then are complaining about missing updater in setting and also some apps like calculator. So I want to know if this still exists. Have you tried factory reset on your phone after update ? Are the apps like updater still present after factory reset? Please help me I am done waiting for ota

No I didnt went for the factory reset. It wasnt necessary anyway. I simply updated from B132 to B320 via FF and within 15 mins, the whole update was installed. I got App Twin, Updater and a lot of other new features. I didnt faced any bug so far. Been using EMUI 5 since 3 days now. Dont wait for OTA if you dont wish to. Just upgrade via FF buddy. I know he's not rooted.
People who updated with firmware finder earlier are getting 320 build as OTA but it shows "update failed" when try to update.

1. Download the right firmware for your device
2. Create a folder inside sdcard named dload
3. Extract the update.app inside the firmware you downloaded and put it inside dload
4. Power off your phone
5. Power it on back again using volume up, volume down and power buttons. All pressed simultaneously
6. Flashing will start.

Same here bro. Not able to update via Firmware Finder once updated to 310 Build. There is a patch available but not able to flash it .

I have Xperia xa2 ultra but nobody will answer me on there so I came here to ask when we update Lineage OS and there are multiple updates can I only download the newest one and have it work or do I need to do all of them

If it is OTA it depends, but most of the times you need to install them one-by-one, instead if it is the full Zip you need just the last one

What? That's wrong. You can skip from 01/03 build to today's without problems even with the in-built OTA updater.

I didn't get it was related to the built-in OTA, I understood he was talking about TWRP flash.
If related to built-in you can just follow what advised
