First, I'm not very well informed on the current state of the market for video glasses. It could very well be in the state it was a few years ago... Not very good. I was just curious as to the compatibility and availability of a decent set of video glasses for night time viewing. My lcd TV is downstairs and am interested in the possibility of video glasses for movies in bed. I use plex quite a lot and would hope that support for apps like plex and viewing would be fairly good. I do know I'd want an immersive experience. Does anything currently exist like this? If so, is there a product remotely affordable? We're talking no more than $250-$300. Just curious if anybody has any knowledge on this.

Is there a way to automatically share your daily step count and other fitness metrics with friends, sort of like how a Fitbit works?
I'm thinking a swapping my Force for a Moto 360, but my family encourages each other to be more active by competing in the Fitbit system. Obviously that won't be an option with a 360, but is there a similar option? I'd think that would be a core feature of Android wear, but i don't know if it's matured enough yet.
Thanks in advance,
GJ
Not that I can tell, the fitness features are extremely disappointing.

Hi everyone. Firstly I didn't find any topic about Apple Watches, It could be just because this site is interested with android. I'm from Turkey, the prices of the smartwatches are too much money. I have been thinking to buy a smart watch for 3 months. But I can't decide which one is worth to buy. I have an Iphone 6s Plus so that Apple Watch may be appropriate. On the other hand, Huawei Watch has great design which suitables for lots of clock faces. Sometimes I think of Garmin Fenix 3, Its obvious that fenix 3 is ageless, has e ink screen like kindle paper white and has much more accurate gps built in as well as sports features. I am pendulate, can you help me guys?
With iPhone, Apple Watch series 2 has no match because everything else has limited functionality I believe as I have used Huawei watch with iPhone but now using Apple Watch series 2.

Would recommend Apple Watch S2 to me? I don't know where you live at, but, I assume that you live in USA, the price of Apple Watch series 2 is 1799 Turkish liras. Would you give this Watch 1799 dollars in USA?

It's a ridiculus way of comparison. I assume you are looking at a 42mm alluminium version. In Russia it starts from 33 500 rubles. Would you get it for 33 500 liras? Anyway, in the US it starts from $399. 1800 liras is about $480. And ₽33500 is $560. I don't know, whether it a lot in Turkey or not. In Russia it is the average salary. At least, Turkish prices are not the highest.
I just bought a galaxy watch 46mm. I train regularly every day(fitness, crossfit, cardio, outdoor run/walk). My previous android watch had a lot of training apps but the tizen was a bit limited. So I need your suggestions.
Samsung health is a good app for monitoring what you do, although there's no desktop version to do any real analysis which is odd. All the apps i use are phone based it watch based. I'm hopeful you get some good answers here.
Hello,
I would like to purchase a Huawei or Honor (LiteOS) smartwatch in the near future.
However the most important point for me is that the watch has a route tracking feature. That is to say a feature or application directly on the smartwatch that allows me to follow a route from a starting point to a destination point (predefined itinerary or even a mapping application like google map).
Attention I'm not talking about gpx export! Moreover, is there a way (maybe via the smartphone) to import a gpx track on your watch?
Not having found this information I would like to have confirmation that such a feature exists on the latest Huawei or Honor smartwatches.
Thank you in advance for your answer!
For that task you need an Android watch like the Huawei Watch 2.
LiteOS doesn't have that feature, at least for now.

So on a smartwatch under LiteOs it is not possible to program a route (via the smartphone for example) and follow this route directly on the smartwatch?

No, it's a health app, not a map or navigation app. There is no map on the watch either, you only can review your map on your phone.

Okay, thank you for this answer.
I am looking for a watch that meets these 2 criteria:
A watch design that is outdoor enough (like the Amazfit T-Rex or the Honor watch gs pro).
A watch that allows GPS navigation. That is to say being able to program a route (via the phone perhaps) and be able to follow this route, as well as these steps, directly on the watch (not necessarily to have a precise monitoring with a map but already just the steps of the route (in 100 on the right) it would be already good)
I am interested in the Honor watch gs pro but you have just confirmed that it is not possible to follow an itinerary.
Would you have watches to offer me that meet these 2 criteria?
Thank you in advance

I believe the Garmin Fenix 6 is what you need, it's more expensive than most of other outdoor watches but it suits your needs.
Alternatively, the latest Ticwatch Pro 3 could do the job using Google Maps as well. It costs half the Garmin's price.

The Garmin Fenix 6 is very nice but too expensive for my use... I've watched some tests on the Ticwatch Pro 3 but it looks a bit cheap.
Any other smartwatch that might be about right?

Sorry in my previous message I was talking about the Ticwatch Pro 2020, I didn't know the Ticwatch Pro 3. It looks great! Do you have any feedback on this watch?

I don't have the watch myself, but I've watched a dozen youtube videos about it, it seems that it's the best smartwatch that money can buy today.

Yes you can use your watch for navigation just like with your phone using Google Maps app.
Be aware that battery won't last long in navigation mode on watches running Wear OS. So you should always have your phone and a backup battery pack.

The navigation mode will be for hikes of 8 to 10 hours, do you think the autonomy will still hold that time?

Maybe, if you charge the watch to full before you go. Anyways, you should have a battery pack just in case.
