And you expect anybody to bother to help you when you use such ridiculously generic topic titles like this that leave absolutely no description of topic for people browsing forum?
Any questions you have will have already been answered, I would highly recommend going and reading some topics before you try anything because there is plenty of info/guides on how to install roms.
Also watch this official XDA video..
Maybe you can search in the original post or in his own page the way to made it. have a nice day
you need to:
1. ROOT - downoad odin 3.09 and Philz touch recovery for n7100. Run odin and in AP choose Philz *.tar file, turn off phone, enter download mode(VOL-, Home, Power), connect note with pc (you need kies drivers) and flash
2. download supersu 1.65 from chainfire's site and flash it in recovery (vol+, home, power). choose install zip in recovery and choose supersu1.65.zip ftom phone
3. make EFS backup via kTool or in ROM aroma installer from dr.ketan
4. flash omni rom just like supersu.
have fun
The thread is already showing you the method of flashing, Bro.
:cyclops:
I just got my new Galaxy Note II N7105 (LTE version), and because custom recovery is first on my to-do list, I'm curious what recovery everyone is using and why. I've found the official CWM/CWM touch, but no thread about TWRP.
PS: Where can I download the right version of odin if I going flash the CWM .img?
Regards,
X-zone
This is advanced cwm for note 2
Phliz touch.
On link there zip files to flash with custom recovery. Also tar files to flash with odin

Search for odin 3.09 on forum its last version now

i started off Philz but been going back and forth between philz and twrp cause at times certain ROMs refuse to boot up with either of the recoveries. Also philz at times has issues with running aroma mods ,so i switch to twrp flash what i need and go back to philz so it's a matter of preference and what the situation demands. So if i were you i'd have both saved on external sd card and just use either of them if encounter issue with the other one

Yes please next time read carefully what the person is asking cause flashing the recovery from another model could brick your device,it happens with all of us but precaution should be taken

Rarely people use the official CWM ,most of us on this thread are on philz or twrp, and no one actually suggests to flash CWM.

Thanks! I have now flashed Philz, but I have one question. When you're suppose to enter recovery mode, I've read that you're suppose to press Power + Menu + volume Up simultaneously until you enter recovery. But when I do that I only get a loop: Samsung galaxy Note 2 --> Black screen --> Samsung galaxy Note 2, etc etc. But when i release the power button I enter the recovery. Is this normal?

PhilZ Touch 6.29.9
**Suggested** FlashFire - Play BETA - PREVIEW (ROM is also compatible with TWRP).
1. Join the G+ community using the same Google account as you're using for Play on your phone/tablet Here.
2. Sign up to receive the BETA versions from Play Here.
- Use the link provided after sign-up to download the app.
Downloads:
- I337_OC3_Stock_Rooted_ROM(MDL)
- I337_OC3_Stock_DeOdexed_ROM(MDL)
Set your screen timeout setting to 10 mins before beginning!
1. Place the ROM onto your device (use either internal or ext-sdcard).
2. Open the FlashFire app and "Agree" to the Terms and Conditions.
3. Press "(+)" twice to bring up the "Actions" menu.
4. Select "Flash Zip or OTA" and locate and select the ROM. Leave "Auto-mount" unchecked under the "Options" menu and press the checkmark to continue.
5. From the main menu Uncheck all options under "EverRoot" and use default "Reboot" setting.
6. Last, press the lightning bolt then "Ok" to begin the flash .
The screen will turn black then display the contents of your system before beginning the flash. FlashFire will pause for about 1 minute while flashing the "system" partition. Once complete your device will reboot and pause on the AT&T splash screen for about 2 - 3 minutes (15 - 20 mins for DeOdexed version) before completely rebooting. Done!
Tip: for blazing fast speed turn off animations from Developer Options and reboot!
Known Issues:
- None!
Optional - Enable Native Tethering:
- I337_OC3_TetherAddOn
Kernel:
- Hybridmax-Stock Kernel v2.3 (built-into the ROM) by @Hybridmax: http://forum.xda-developers.com/galaxy-s4/i9505-develop/18-03-2015-hybridmax-stock-kernel-t3058213
Notes:
1. The ROM will update your Modem and System to OC3 and will auto-loki the kernel.
2. The ROM is also compatible with TWRP. Full-wipe recommended!
3. As of 5/7/2015 no need to wipe prior to flashing! The ROM will automatically perform a factory data reset.
4. To learn more about FlashFire's capabilities on locked bootloader devices see here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=60070810&postcount=2

Giving it a go. Biggest ROM file I've ever seen.
Is the Hybridmax kernel compatible with i337 as-is, or did you have to change some things?

As is, nothing changed.
Installed via TWRP after a full wipe. Sat at the ATT splash screen for a couple minutes, as per the OP.
No issues so far, all my apps are re-downloading right now. Good stuff, thanks.
Went from 4.2.2 [MDL] rooted, TWRP, Goldeneye to this directly! Worked perfectly
If i flash this ROM, will it lock the bootloader? or this bootloader is unlocked so if i dont like it i can just flash a custom firmware back in???
It won't lock. That's the point of this ROM.
Sent from my SGH-I337
Will this ROM work with other variants such as I337M, I337Z, I9505?
Could I install Xposed with this?
Once I hit the lightning bolt it goes to black screen then boots to stock recovery. Running I337UCUEMK2. Did this one instead http://forum.xda-developers.com/gal...-to-i337oc3-5-0-1-keeproot-t3075814?nocache=1 and it worked!
I used KeepRoot method to update to 5.0.1
If I flash this ROM will I be able to flash TWRP and custom AOSP based ROMS
If yes, then how?
Came across an issue where the AUX volume is extremely low. Anyone else seeing this, or know of a fix?

I used the one for the note 4 tmobile. Version 2.8.5.0
After i flashed through odin, it was recommended to boot into recovery then
go into settings and then screen settings and uncheck the checkbox and set
brightness to 10%.
The file name is openrecovery-twrp-2.8.5.0-trltetmo.img.tar
@starbucks2010 dont flash twrp for T-Mobile. Dont use same data and system size. You can brick your phone. Use twrp for trltexx
Thank you guys. Yes, indeed I flashed the one for Note 4 (trltexx) mention by @micky387 and is almost ok. I still have 2 very bright side bars (left and right) but the rest is working well. Except Aroma. Actually, I think that Aroma is broken in all recoveries for Note 4 and Note Edge - recovery background writing is overlapping with Aroma messages. I hope that @amarullz will find a solution.
Best regards.

Some manufacturers will restore stock recovery if you reboot device after you Odin a custom recovery.
Try Odin > (uncheck "reboot") TWRP
then vol down + home + power when screen goes black, keep holding power and home button but slide your finger to volume up. It should boot into TWRP

You should have put SuperSu before into your device storage, allow modification when twrp ask you to and then install SuperSu. Installing SuperSu will take you out of the bootloop. Installing only twrp and allowing modifications always gets you to bootloop until you install SuperSu.
