There are other threads about unlocking the bootloader after upgrading to Marshmallow. I've never tried myself so I don't know if anyone ever figured out how to do it. If you check the other threads about this you should be able to determine if it was resolved or not.

To factory reset the watch after upgrading to Marshmallow I went to "Settings" --> "Unpair with phone" and that performed a factory reset and allowed me to pair the watch with a different device.
For future reference questions should go in the Moto 360 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting section, not in the Moto 360 General section

Hey, looking to get some help from the community. I had just purchased my new M8 and after a day of use, it has inadvertently gotten stuck in a bootloader loop.
I haven't unlocked, modified or rooted this phone in any way. it is, quite literally, 2 days old.
I could go to the store to have it replaced but given the original store distance I'd like to see if there something I can do first before I do that.
I have seen ways to fix up this, but most involve people who have tried (and failed) to unlock the bootloader, flash a rom, etc.
Attempting to use some of the menu options ends up with nothing, eg selecting Recovery will flash the three Android skateboarders for a second along with a short vibration. Then back to the bootloader.
I've removed my SIM card and tried, and the SD card and tried with no luck.
tl;dr I can turn it off and on, but always end up at the bootloader with no options.
Any help to restore this to stock would be greatly appreciated!

It's best not to do anything to make it worse.
Return it to where you bought it for replacement. It's hardware problem
The only thing you can try now is factory reset and see whether it boots

Will do. Factory reset does the same "flash image + vibrate" behavior.
Thanks for the help!
hi all, this is my first post, I will try to be synthetic...
I've got a nexus 7 2013, then, two month ago, I've unlocked the bootloader and rooted the tablet, and it was running without problem.
This morning, the touch screen wasn't working, so I reboot the tablet holding the power button and...
Surprise!
the tablet stucks on the Google logo....
So I've search on the internet, I've perform the unroot and relock the bootloader, I've reinstalled the factory image with the Wug's tool, and manually too... nothing.. still stuck on the google logo... I can't even go in recovery....I've tried all, I've installed a different version too...
Please help me... I don't know whatelse I can do....
Nothing against Wug, but what if you tried flashing the factory images manually? (Be sure to unlock the bootloader first.)

I bad contact from the ribbon cable can do this as well. You may need to open it up & make sure the ribbon cable is secure & making good contact. There is a thread & a guide on it, pretty easy & you don't need any tools, nor do you break any warranty seals.

Hey guys I've been on the XDA forums for a while to use XDA Labs, as well as get kernels and rom's for my Pixel 2 XL
I decided to factory reset to bring my phone back to a complete stock feel and now it won't go past the G logo with the loading grey bar.
I had Magisk and Kirisukura kernel installed. But prior to factory resetting I
1. Uninstalled Magisk, through TWRP and the magisk uninstaller.
2. Reflashed stock boot img to bring it back to an essentially stock phone with no modifications whatsoever.
The only thing that I'm thinking might have caused this is that I factory reset via the phone settings as opposed to clean flashing a factory image via ADB but I didn't think that mattered?
Regardless, no matter how long I leave the phone it doesn't go past the G Logo with the grey loading bar (Note: the bar does move and isn't frozen).
I've tried booting in recovery mode and wiping/factory resetting from there but regardless of what I do it doesn't seem to allow the phone to boot up.
Any help would do I really love this phone and it would break my heart knowing I've hard bricked it, the bootloader is unlocked as well but I don't think ADB works because I haven't been able to boot into the phone to allow USB debugging which is frustrating.
Thanks in advance for any help/replies

Is OEM unlocking turned on in developer options?
If so, have you tried fastbooting the factory image?
Did you try a few hard restarts with the power button?

Did a few hard restarts with the power button and and then tried flashing a factory image and it worked. Phone is up and running and working well thank you very much! How do I let a mod know to close this thread now that it is solved?

The mods will see your post, and then decide if they want to close it or not. However, you'll likely not be the last user that this will happen to, so, they may very well leave it open for future reference
Hello @MrPariah,
We can absolutely leave the thread open since other member could use it for future questions / help.
If you have time, I suggest you to edit the thread title by adding [SOLVED] and you can even edit the 1st post yourself with the correct procedure to fix the initial issue ("...won't go past the G logo with the loading grey bar."). It may help other members with the same issue.
But if you still want to close the thread, you can send me a private message and I will do it.
Please let me know

In case you need to request a thread closure (or XDA rule violations), you have to use the report button (using a web browser), any moderator available will handle it.

I have an Moto XT1676 Running androind 7.0/NP25-137-93/12
And i have an soft lock ,
My Recovery mode is working, I am trying to go back to Stock 6.0 android
I have tried many ways but with no luck, I am trying it for like 15 hours straight and i am really stuck nothing seems to work
Is there an way to unlock USB debugging, And oem
I hope some one could help me
What do you mean by soft lock? you can not install android 6 because the device does not have android 6, in its release and brought android 7 by default, you can only update, if you talk about the device just turn on fastboot mode look in the forum, there are many ways to re-install the stock software of motorola by fastboot

Do a format data in recovery mode - this will erase all data & files from the device
When it boots up you will be at the welcome setup screen
From here you can either create a new Google account & sign in or skip the Google setup altogether to setup at a later point
Hello fellow xdaians,
I own a moto g6 play for the past 2 years, I have never opened / unlocked the developer mode ever. Also never updated it. Past 2 days it has been restarting frequently, until today where it just got stuck in a BOOTLOOP. I have tried the usuals, wiping out cache/ factory reset. No luck and now suddenly I can’t get into recovery mode as it boot loops back to logo. Since I just made this acc it’s not allowing me to post a url but in my boot loader mode, it says oem locked, is there any way to unlock it . And any recommendations?
And where can I find my stock firmware ? Thank you

Sounds dead to me, go buy a phone
Their is a moto / lenovo flash tool but it will most likely fail, the motherboard is most likely gone.
