Hello I am having a problem on my LG G3 D852. Everytime I reboot the Smart Notice widget is blank and unresponsive like the picture attached. I factory rest with LGUP already and its still doing it. Help...
Noticed the same issue on my D851 also, only way I've been able to resolve so far is deleting and adding the widget to my home screen again.

I had a stock ls980 running zvc, rooted using ioroot, and got twrp 2.7.0.0 using autorec......now my problem is that i cant run any of the cloudy roms(cloudystack, cloudyflex 2.0, cloudypro ii) without running into systemui force closes. It happens when i connect to a phone call or when in on my way to work and it connects to different towers(guessing). Can anyone help? Ive did my apn backup and restore and ive played with networkmode.

They are working on it. I'm playing with it on my own trying things

What all have you tried?

I've broken the tot apart and copied the files in sprint variant over on top of the other and going to rezip and give it a try. I did notice the APN config file in the folder was right. But it doesn't copy over. So looking into how aroma installer works and see if I can get that working.

I see that the white lines have been fixed for our phones. Do you think that will fix the systemui problems to or just the display.?
Edit: nvm I see that it was an hardware issue that had the white lines. Guess we moving slowly but surely

I was able to get Cloudy flex 2.2 working. I was on zvc stock rooted, ran auto rec, flashed kk kernel, did a full wipe, flashed kk baseband, then rom, then baseband again. I let it sit for 5 minutes then set up my phone. It was real quirky at first. So far no force closes or random reboots. My messaging wasnt working at first, but working now. Pretty smooth, loving the dark ui. I will report back in a few days
Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
Where did you get the kk baseband. The one I just use broke my recovery and couldn't boot up so I had to .tot back to stock.

I downloaded the LS980 one from the OP. It was under requirements.
Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
OK I have it. So did you have to backup your APNs or was your data working tight off the boot.?
Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
It worked right away. Before i started flashing anything, I updated prl and profile because you cant once you get on cloudy.

This is what i use for messaging. It has quick message and you can switch to dark ui. Mms works with it too. You can switch to the new messaging in settings.

Hey all,
I have a weird bug and I wanted to share it if you have it or not. I bought my G3 3 days ago and when I shoot a photo from camera app or either snapchat, the phone turns off and I need to remove the battery to turn on again. It doesn't happen very frequently but it is very annoying. Is there anyone experinced the same bug?
camera works fine. No issues here
No issues here either, have you tried doing a factory reset?

Hi Guys,
I have a LG G3 F400K running the 10L build.
I have the following problem:
every time I switch off the phone the time setting reverts back to AM-PM setting wheras I would like to keep it in 24hr setting.
I tick the 24 hour box but it appears not to be saving this setting at restart.
When I restart I seethe correct 24hr setting but after about 5 seconds it reverts back to AM-PM.
Is there any hidden setting I can force or is it a software bug?
Thanks guys
No one else with this problem?

Hello. I had the v10l but I flashed back to the previous version 10g cos none of the 3 rooting tools could root the v10l. When on the v10l ... I didn't have any issues with the 24 hour setting. Have you tried formatting? I know it's a pain in the ass formatting but it could help solve the issue, if you just updated via OTA ..
BTW.. Are you rooted on the v10l?

I'm rooted on the L. Used Purple Drake
24 hour clock displayed in upper status bar.
I had to use the modded f400K though on my F400L

Yes I'm rooted using purple drake.
Btw. Do you have a stock phone dialer without korean symbols?
Thanks
After updating to 5.1.1 I am having issues with the lock screen. If i press a button to wake it is slow to respond. It almost looks like the lock screen crashes. Sometimes the lock screen is unresponsive after a finger swipe. I am unrooted on the stock firmware. I have made no modifications to my phone. Any help would be appreciated.

I like having the fingerprint scanner or other security settings. Did you ever try a factory reset? I'm also noticing that the phone will get laggy, and also the drop down menu is slow. Any ideas?

I downloaded the 5.1.1 again from Kies and also performed a factory reset and that seemed to have fixed the issue. I will report back if issues arise again.

I tried reseting but the problems eventually came back a few hours later. My GF's note 4 has the same issue with the laggy pull down menu and the laggy lock screen crashing. I was able to get to home as it crashed and there was an error message that Touchwiz crashed. There's a MAJOR bug in Touchwiz after the update.

My lock screen crashed again but this time the finger print scanner stopped working and backup password option shows up but doesnt recognize anything. had to factory reset. I think its a bug with the launcher and finger print scanner. I now have pin password on lock screen and noticed less lag on lock screen. definitely turn off finger print if you have it on.
Similar problems as reported here. Navigator flashes lock screen then recovers on its own. In a few minutes lock screen stays on unresponsive. I have tried factory reset. Using fingerprint scanner. I will try turning it off and report back.

I also believe it is the launcher crashing after 5.1.1.. I changed the launcher to NOVA and I haven't had any slow downs or crashes
Sent from my SM-N910P using Tapatalk
Nova has an option very much like adding the command below to build.prop
ro.HOME_APP_ADJ=1
For those that are rooted and don't want to try another launcher, try adding that to build.prop I'm not sure but post if it's already there; I wouldn't know myself, running OB7.
Reboot after edit with root browser. I can't imagine why a problem like this exists for an update that's supposed to be a fix for memory leak but acts like it's out of memory? Debloat may help but it may be simpler than that.

I've tried different launchers and I'm still having issues with a laggy lock screen and also laggy pull down menus. Also the phone can become laggy in general use. Any ideas on how to fix this? My phone is unrooted and I would like to keep it that way. I don't feel comfortable flashing my phone.

Did you try the following? I don't know if this works without root but Nova launcher (and possibly others) has an aggressive desktop setting at bottom of advanced settings. Enable that and reboot if you can enable it.
Haven't got confirmation if the build.prop edit is helping rooted users but there was one report of improvement with Nova Launcher.

That's the only close response I've got to a confirmation. It's been suggested to debloat or turn some apps off but that's still not confirmation.
I'm running rooted OB7 deodex with Xposed myself so I've only suggested a possible solution. I'm running a modified version of the OG5 5.1.1 kernel (freeza's Beastmode 1.0). I think the kernel is pretty sound in performance and in regards to battery; it gave me a boost in screen on time per charge.
