To start off,
i would like to say im not some kind of paranoid freak who thinks the gov or ordinary people around me is spying on me.. lol
Im fairly new to this android world, and got this phone, less than a month ago. from a ... doubtful friend.
The phone always booted twice on startup, and it installed apps with out telling me like "Muted camera".,,which i caught probally by rebooting the
phone right after reset. and a error popping up, that the install file was invalid.
I rooted it (I think.. I rooted it.. or could be PRE rooted. Never checked) ,
checked system but couldn't find out anything useful..
i deleted all the dalek? cache and factory reset, formatted external sd in cwm
but still.. freaked out when i found out that my personal files.. such as photos videos were still present (was on the internal memory)
the external, was formatted..
so i got the lg firmware update on pc
put the kdz file,
settings were:
3g QCT & mode was CS emergency
ran it in Download mode.
Still.. this seemed to only reset the system settings..
the phone itself wasn't wiped..
However, after i reset it with kdz file
The security? error of some sort popping up between the two reboot, was gone. however the two reboot was still present,.
Before;
Turn on phone => security error, (in terminal typed ..interface with black background) => phone shutdown => boot again automatically => LG logo => turn on
After the kdz file recovery:
Turn on phone => Lg logo => phone off => on again automatically with lg logo => lg boot animation and normal booting
Now, my ram and battery usage is still abnormal.
resetted the phone in software os level, (in settings)
Nothing.. seems to help
any.. suggestions?;;

[SOLUTION] Simple fix if you set your dpi too low using Xposed Framework

I recently rooted and installed xposed framework. I set the dpi of some apps using the AppSettings module (downloaded within xposed framework)
To make the actual interface and lockscreen smaller you have to edit the dpi settings of com.android.systemui using AppSettings module.
I read on here people arent going lower than 540 / 530 or they get crashes.
I was on 540 but I thought because I'm using nova launcher ill try 480 and see what happens.
As soon as I booted I got the "com.android.systemui has stopped working" error repeatedly and I could not use my phone.
Development mode was disabled so I couldnt adb in either.

Solution:
I connected my phone to the official LG software and it picked it up even though I couldnt use my phone.
Then I went to the list of installed apps in the LG software
Then I right clicked on 'AppSettings' and clicked uninstall.
Then I restarted my phone.
AppSettings was gone and everything was restored back to normal dpi. No more crashing.

This is the easiest way I found that fixes the problem of going too low with your dpi if you cant use your phone. And I didnt have to wipe.
Hope this helps anyone who gets stuck in the same situation I was in.

LG G4 H815 - Optimizing Apps & Reboot after build.prop edit. Bootloop?

I have a LG G4 H815, rooted, bootloader unlocked everytime I boot my phone it optimize apps, reboot, optimize apps, reboot, optimize apps reboot... Before this happend I edited the following line in **build.prop**:
persist.splitwindow.support_all=false to
persist.splitwindow.support_all=true
Okay, I did a hardware reset by pressing volume down and power button, but nothing happens. Unfortunately it don't even shows TWRP. It still says optimizing app 1 from 100. Is there a way to delete all apps and do a full hard reset? Will LG repair my phone? My PC don't recognize my phone. I am not able to answer on this topic until 27.02, because I am not home. I hope somebody got an idea. Thanks.

bricked Lenovo P1a42 :(

I followed the exact same process for rooting my Lenovo vibe p1a42 as mentioned in the forum: https://forum.xda-developers.com/vibe-p1/development/lenovo-vibe-p1-stock-rom-custom-rom-t3306484
Once the process was finished the lenovo p1a42 reboots and displays: "Optimizing apps 1 of 130", ok so the apps optimization completes. Now some errors start popping up saying "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped working", "Unfortunately the nfs service has stopped", "Unfortunately the Notification center has stopped".
These three errors are too annoying and are killing me from inside. There is no background in the back just a dark color and the errors popping up.
I still have the hope to fix this by using the stock rom but the process includes flashing which means I really have to wipe data out. There are some picture of my holiday trip in the internal memory which I don't want to get deleted. And Whatsapp messages of friends including old memories. If there is anyway I can still install twrp and try to move the data out using the filemanager in it. Please help me how to install it. Thanks :crying:

[Help] Firmware is broken after reboot.

I have a weird problem with my phone. Few days ago I've drained my battery and swapped it to the fresh one. But after phone booted up everything is broken.
My wallpaper changed to the one i don't know, it even doesn't look like stock one (Screenshot 1).
Notifications doesn't show up. Probably because upper drawer doesn't work now as well (i can slide it down only once, to show me date. But can't slide it down further to change sound profile, wi-fi etc. Screenshot 2).
Home button doesn't work, square button (the one for switching between applications) doesn't work either.
Half of the settings got reset to factory, some of them stayed unchanged but doesn't work anymore. For example, I've had my lock screen protected by pin. It still shows in the settings that I've set pin code, but there is no actual pin lock when I'm locking my phone (Screenshot 3).
Developer options menu says that they "are not available for this user" (Screenshot 4).
Even my QuickCircle case doesn't work anymore.
I have F400L one with Fulmics ROM 7.6 (6.0 Android).
I've tried to dirty flash it (i was on Fulmics 7.5 before). But after flashing new version of ROM everything still the same.
I've tried to wipe Dalvik + Cache, no luck either.
I don't want to do a full wipe, it will be a huge pain it the ass to reinstall and reconfigure all of my apps. Especially ones like Google Authenticator.
Dear community, do you have any suggestions what happened and how i may fix it?

Solution is to type this command (through adb or terminal):
am start -n com.google.android.setupwizard/.SetupWizardTestActivity
At this moment, this command resolved probably all of issues occured.
