I followed the exact same process for rooting my Lenovo vibe p1a42 as mentioned in the forum: https://forum.xda-developers.com/vibe-p1/development/lenovo-vibe-p1-stock-rom-custom-rom-t3306484
Once the process was finished the lenovo p1a42 reboots and displays: "Optimizing apps 1 of 130", ok so the apps optimization completes. Now some errors start popping up saying "Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped working", "Unfortunately the nfs service has stopped", "Unfortunately the Notification center has stopped".
These three errors are too annoying and are killing me from inside. There is no background in the back just a dark color and the errors popping up.
I still have the hope to fix this by using the stock rom but the process includes flashing which means I really have to wipe data out. There are some picture of my holiday trip in the internal memory which I don't want to get deleted. And Whatsapp messages of friends including old memories. If there is anyway I can still install twrp and try to move the data out using the filemanager in it. Please help me how to install it. Thanks :crying:
Did you done something about that? If not I can help you.

Gang,
No sooner than I fixed my earlier issue, I deleted the TelephonyProvider.apk and Sprint_Promotion.apk and now I'm receiving THE APPLICATION DIALER (process com.android.phone) has stopped unexpectedly - PLEASE TRY AGAIN message. I have both .apk's on my SD card and my phone is in airplane mode. the error message keeps popping up. Ocasionally a MMS error message pops up as well. How do I remedy this? I know I need to get those two .apk's reinstalled but I don't know how. I tried with Package Installer but I'm not connected to the internet and that force close message keeps popping up.....HELP

OK temporary fix that seems to be holding thanks to Toast over at AndroidForums....reflashed my original Joeykrim ROM and got all my old files back without needing to go all the way back to stock (thank GOD!) and Mistaken1312 is gonna email me over 2.1 files for the two I stupidly deleted yesterday that I had to re-flash to get back....I feel so dumb but then, I'm a NOOB.....
hi i rooted my desire and put LeeDrOiD_V2.1a_A2SD on it
but every time i reboot it i get the error message,
"sim card changed" in the status window
if i click the error triangle i get
"the application settings (process com.android.settings) has stopped unexpectedly
if i just clear the message without clicking on the 'triangle' the error clears
anyone seen this before and knows how to fix it

I have the same problem since I started using pays rom v1.9 and v2.0. With other roms this does not happen. Further more I cannot set the apn settings as that calls the same function and also crashes.

I tried rooting my Nokia X according to Kashamalaga's guide, but I after extracting the Gapps APKs suggested in the 3rd step I rebooted the phone a bit too soon - failing to change the permissions options for the files. As a result, when the phone turned on there was a loading screen of "Starting apps", followed by looping popups saying : "Google Play services has stopped", "Setup Wizard has stopped", "Can't do this com.google.process.gapps at the moment", and other similar Google app failures.
Whenever I hit OK, another one shows up. I can access the pull down menu, but I can't access the Settings link.
I tried shutting the phone down and went for a factory reset (by holding the Volume Up button as the Nokia logo turns up on the screen and selecting said option), but that doesn't seem to change a thing.
Is there any way I can get it working again? I'd be really grateful for your help and feedback.
PS: I can't access the home screen, hence I can't access the Application Manager and it's like.

Let me know if that works, Naresh. Keep me in the loop.
Use Nokia Tool Kit my friends.
It might fix the error as well as install G-Apps. It has various options.

My phone is a canvas a1 with android m on it ( version 6.0.1 ). I was plagued by lots of the "Google x has stopped working" today it became a nuisance as it popped up every 10 seconds, so according to a guy, I cleared the cache after booting into recovery mode and it took a good 5 minutes. After the wiping, I booted up and i get "starting apps" for some 10 second and then the boot logo. This cycle continues forever. And once I did manage to reach the lock screen but then it wouldn't load Home - "couldn't start home". Can anybody help me out of this mess?
Update : now it's showing "optimising app 46 of 95" but after it finishes, I get an empty screen and only the back and multitask button works and, I get an error when I click home - "couldn't start home".
Please help as, though I have another phone, this is very important to me and lots of my things depend on whether this works or not.
Also, I haven't done a reset yet as I thought it'd be good to ask here first.

Use SP Flash Tool !!! Something similar happened to my device (infinite bootloop) and I used SP Tool and now I am using my phone smoothly
Error message: Unfortunately, the process com.android.phone has stopped.
Problem: Pops up constantly.
Another popup keeps showing up too, and started about the same time as this one. "Currently unable to download. Try again later."
I have tried all the steps suggested on google. I have cleared caches, rebooted, gone into safe mode, etc..
I have called tech support. It all leads to a factory reset. The problem with that is I haven't been able to backup my sms/mms texts.
Anytime, I open the text app, as soon as I clear the error message the texts app shuts down. Additionally, anytime I try to backup data either to the cloud or otherwise it quits as soon as it starts.
Does anyone have any suggestions. I really want to save my texts. I would appreciate it more than words can say.
TIA
