I have HTC desire 816 dual sim, I have recently updated the device to official HTC android 6.0 with HTC sense 7.0 . after the upgrade I'm unable to use my SD card.
when I go to settings --> storage and USB, I found the status of the SD card as "Ejected", I try to mount but nothing happens as I got a small message that SD card is mounted but nothing happens.
Tried the SD card on other phones and it is working . also I formatted it but the same issue.

Hi Guys,
I was flashing my Defy from 2.1 to 2.2. Everything went smoothly. But when i reboot, my phone was unable to detect my sd card. Anyway to help? Thanks.
Check if the sd card is unmounted. settings > sd card and phone storage
I have the same issue. 32GB Class 4 SD card worked perfectly until I upgraded to Orange Deblur 3.4, now its not detected.
When I go to Settings - SD card, there is an option to mount the card. When I click on that, I get the notification beep about 4 times then nothing for a few mins, it just reverts to saying 'Mount SD card'.
Also my 3G is now non-functional
Try other smaller size sdcard to see if it work, or format the sdcard from pc to start fresh.

I recently found an HTC EVO 4G which had a 8GB Micro sd in it..Whenever i go to the settings to mount it the notification bar says "You can safely remove SD card" and never mounts. I tried a different SD card and it worked but why isnt this one working? I Factory Restored and did the RUU.
I'm having Android one (Micromax Canvas A1) , with Sandisk 32gb class
10 sd card. Ever since i got Android 6 (Marshmallow) update on my
phone, i'm facing some problem. ie every time i reboot my phone, it
says 'corrupted Sandisk SD card' . so ill hav to re-format my sd card
again & again losing al my datas in it. so, pls help with any
solutions or suggestions to solve this prob.
android marshmallow have some bugs with if you convert you sd card into internal storage do not do that i recommend factory reset you device and then use your sd card as (portable storage) dont select as internal storage then if you need to free up your internal storage just manually do it by going to settings-apps and select app you want to move to the sd card
Inserted the working SD card in HTC One V but it is not detecting , tried Formatting with NTFS,FAT32,FAT ,also checked with other SD card still no response. Not detecting in TWRP also, Please anyone suggest the solution.
Thanks in Advance.

Hello. I've bought a 64gb sandisk micro sd card for my M9.
In twrp the sd card 8s working perfect. I've Flash the Rom files from sd card. But when i'm boot uo android System (also i did completly clean install the Roms /wipe system+data+Cache etc) android said the sd card is damaged i must format it... But after he Shows that it damages 2 seconds later the message goes away and Show again. When i tap it nothing happens.
I've check the sd card via windows chkdsk /f but all is fine without errors
I've unlockd the BOOTLOADER and flashed crdroid / Viper / ICE. All Roms had the same issue.
Any idea? I've tryd 3 roms on all roms the same issue.... On twrp the sd card works great -. -
What format is the sdcard partition?. Use fat32 but you must format them on a pc with third party software as Windows partitioning tool is 'broken'.
I have a SanDisk 128gb so I know yours should work.
