SM-T116 rom dilemma!!

Good day XDA!! This is my first ever post or thread on XDA, for about 5 years I have been a spectator to this site, and it has been an essential source for all things us android foondies want and need. But for the past month I have hit a blank when it comes to my new tab3 ve 7.0 sm-t116nq (goyave3g).
It started when I wanted to root it, little to no support for this model was available (at least through the search function) I managed to root through Kingo root on a pc. But now my dilemma is finding/porting rooms for this model. I have no problem with all my Mediatek androids, but I'm in the dark when it comes to samsung. I don't even know where to begin, for other popular Samsung's it's not a problem, obviously because they're popular.
SO, I need some help. I hate this abomination they call touchwiz, I want a vanilla aosp rom for this model, or even better CM or PAC-MAN rom!! I am prepaid to put a lot of time and effort into this. I have extremely limited experience, most of my past successes was actually the success of other xda members (you guys are awesome BTW.) Any info would be apriciated.
So let's revive this tablet and let's start a revolution for budget tablets.

i decided to suspend the project because of school though

But is not there anyone interested in developing a rom with Lollipop for the SM t116? Hardware the device has, a Galaxy J1 mini has almost the same processed and less than 1gb of ram and it runs the Lollipop well

Can anyone help me find pit file for galaxy sm-t116NU??????

OMG, Im also stuck here with SM-T116BU which was officially upgraded to Tab E (somehow) how it happened, i don't know since this was my son's Tab 3v originally.
lately. i have rooted tru inception (nice job for the rooting guys) then tried TWRP 3.1.1.0 but couldnt boot, down ver to TWRP 2.8.7.0 bcos the others are either not TAR for odin or files are missing to boot TWRP recovery.
so far, i have tried CM-13 but failed miserably, perhaps those files are corrupted as well
I enjoyed loading with my "Note3 with touchwiz" DO NOT TRY THIS UNLESS YOU KNOW HOW TO RECOVER, so i tried using the same ROM N9005_TouchWizMM_V4_16-04-2016. installation smoothly with TWRP into TAB E but could NOT make it BOOT.
I guess some files are missing while downloading those as well or those files have been corrupted thru the years.
N9005_TouchWizMM_V4_16-04-2016 not difficult to find but NEED an expert to cook a SM-116 version since this is best "complete" ROM (need kernel) in my Note3 now
I'll keep trying ROM N9005_TouchWizMM_V4_16-04-2016 into THIS TAB E and mixed with SM_116 kernels n I KNOW I MIGHT BRICK THIS SM-116 Tab E, what the HACK so let it be, NO VENTURE NO GAIN hahahaaa

What exactly are you trying to do?

Well. The TouchWiz works perfectly on my note3 so I'll try to cook a TouchWiz for Sm-t116 from the note3 platform. If u have ready ROM, do send them. Tks in advance !

Guys please give the firmware rom for TVRP on the TAB-3 Lite SM-T116 ! Cause when I for some reason flashed TVPP I realized that there are no custom firmwares for this device , But I need 100% working FI-WI, and cyanogen mod does not fit, cause Wi-Fi doesn't work there!

hi guys, first sorry for create this thread in bad section pray mod to move this thread in good section.
there is a rom unofficial or official that is clean with no changes asus ? I like the Rom issue by google without modification but clean ?
I read around that some rom version 550 or selfies work on the 500 but I did not quite understand so I would like some help if you can , thanks a lot .

No roms for ZE500KL. Just be happy with the ****ty and laggy ASUS UI they have provided. None is developing CM. Development for this device is dead. RIP.

i think ze500kl has same spec with 5.5" model, only the ram different, but i dont get it why nobody make rom for ze500kl. well at least ze500kl has root and xposed framework available around so its not really that bad. its a shame this devices has no custom rom available, because it(2400mah model) has very very good battery life.

Cyanogenmod 12.1 and 13 for T211

Well, I'm here again. I create this thread for better manager with both CM12.1 and 13. I need to hear many devs here and not devs.
The first question is, you think is possible to build CM12.1 for T211 ?
The second question, What the error you got when you try to build it ?
In my opinion is possible, but very hard, I don't try yet for 2 reason: First is my CPU limitation, it can't supports OS x64, (if you think I'm lie, You can check my laptop to get 100% assurance). The second reason is the new Run Time Machine ART, on lollipop and marshmallow, touchwiz on 4.4.2 is not compatible with art and obvious I will need the source code KK to build it....
If I begin to build I will need any person here can make all work on computer, I will try to help and give my best. To build cyanogenmod, we need to use x64 ubuntu.
I can't make this work alone, especially for Tab 3 T211 with the different hardware.... I need a help.
I don't put the T210, because I don't have this device. So I can make rom with total stability.... but I think is not to hard if I made CM12.1 for T211 to port it on T210, the difference between is call parts....

I think it is good idea that all will work together on the development for this Device.
But without gr8nole s help we will have no chance ,he has stoped the work on CM11 .

You Have tried to build CM12.1 for T210 ? What the problems you find ? Why Gr8nole stopped ?

Miui or Emotion rom,anyone?

I don't want to discredit the miracles all friends here doing.Really, some ROMs can turn our phones into spaceships(!)with all those features.But if i'll see another cm-based rom here,i will slit my wrist(not to mention that CM-based roms have issues AND they're not compatible with some system ZenUI apps,like flip cover,radio or Splendid)!There are some really nice looking "skins"of Android firmware,like Miui or EMUI,with really cool features,too!Will someone give them a shot?!

You know, our phone is x86 based and this is a major reason why we'll never got such roms like MIUI, LewaOS or EMUI it's rather dificalt to build it or to port it to our phone.

We don't see miui because the patchrom is only on android 4.4 which our device never got so we don't have drivers for that and it is really hard to port from another phone since the zf2 has and x86 intel processor

first of all your thread is in wrong place
I don't get you guys i mean you are talking like we can easily build port bla bla ... but we are not doing
i mean why you guys try to do that by yourself instead of commanding us to do that
yeah miui just got a patch rom for 5.0 now one of our devs is trying to bring it up when we had chance believe me my friend we are trying that just before you tell us

As i said,i don't want to descredit the huge work you're all doing and definitely not going to "command" anyone.And it seems i will never understand where is the right place to post here!I'm glad to hear this is going to happen!Thank you for your reply and the hard work you're all doing,really!

I wonder: Why is this thread on development section?
I personally agree with @Nyks45.
MIUI's patchrom source is available (and updated to use 6.0 as base), but I don't think devs could port MIUI to our x86 devices, since patchrom files are for arm (and arm64 (?)).

MIUI8's patchrom uses 6.0 as base ROM.

By the way, if someone could manage to port it without any major problems, I myself would greatly appreciate it in any way.

CM13 Is A Very Stable rom so why can't we use CM sources combined with MIUI?

You can't use the CM13 MIUI roms because the compilations with MIUI are for Snapdragon processors not for Intel
Each processor type have their own tree for the builds

but, you see the problem is I spent almost a year finding out solutions to compile the New Boot.img using the Binary HTCDEV.COM had publish.
after countless times of try and wandering on Internet reading some notes of a Chinese guy who had attempted the same thing for his certain MTK Device that I was doing.
I figured that we also need the binary source code of MTK CHIPSET. unfortunately MTK doesn't provides their codes or idk what publicly or something.
Moral: this Device is Dead Stuck to Android v4.2.2* (I had compiled working Android 4.3 for it with minor bugs).
In the End; I ended up with a Hard Bricked Device. SAD!
PS: still eagerly waiting for your RoM! I really wanna see it myself. better be not HOAX. and good luck.

Yes its tough,even then I am trying ,I actually dont own the device (my side is on lenovo),but my friend indeed want a custom rom for his desire 616,(i donot get the device oftenly )I will do my best I can..

hmm.. there's now way i guess, htc abandoned it, MTK has their policy etc.
