Hi every one,i had fully m9 rom ported(s-rom) on my 816w,it had network type( it shows what network type are you currently in,3g or 4g or edge, above antenna bar,and also it uses h+ in place of h or 3g which means better data speed,
Now i have upgraded to default marshmallo(official), i want some app or any mod that shows the network type and brings me the h+ data speed again, like sense on m9,any suggestion?

Hi
I recently bought a HTC One X, and I must say that it has amazing speeds compared to both my HTC Mega and my phone before that, which was a Nokia N73. This leads me to an option I had on the N73, where I could tell the phone to prefer 3G and Hi-Speed(H), even if the EDGE(E) has a better connectivity than the others. But I can't seen to find any option in Android 4.0.4 which can help me do that. Is it possible at all? Do I have to get a specific app?
Open dialler and type *#*#4636#*#*
go to phone info
near bottom change wcdma preferred to wcdma only
Bear in mind if you go to somewhere that has no 3g coverage you will have no signal at all
and this change will drop off after a reboot

Hi All, as we know One X support HSPA+ network and how can we detect when the network use HASP+?
I only found One X can display E, 3G and H. If it can display H+?
Or any rom support this?

not sure but you can check in phone info under settings to what type of network it is connected

The network type will change between "HASP:10" and "UMTS:3"
If the "HSAP:10" is HSPA or HSPA+?
Hi guys,
In my Nokia X, the mobile data uses EDGE(2G) instead of UMTS(3G) which results in very low speeds around 170kbps!
Using the USSD code *#*#4636#*#* I can see that the Network type is shown to be EDGE, while the preferred network is set to "WCDMA preferred". If I try "WCDMA only" the SIM card stops working and I can't make any call - except emergency calls... I've tried different network types while swithing off and on the phone but without success.
I've put the same SIM card in another phone, which is HTC Desire C and I can get the mobile data working perfectly in 3G speed (up to 6.5Mbps in my case). Phone Info shows Network type to be UMTS as it should be.
When I put the SIM card back in Nokia X, I get the Network Type EDGE.
I have the same exact APN settings in both phones. And the phones are in the same room so the signal strength is the same for both. My Nokia X is rooted but no custom ROMs installed except Google play.
Can you please suggest any solution for this problem. :crying:
Nokia X shows only E (edge) not H and 3G.
I've tried *#*#4636#*#* phone information and set WCDMA prefered but still have only E.
Does Nokia X really support 3G ? I'm getting suspicious now.
Hi
Currently I'm not being able to get the 4G network and in mu country they're using the 1800 frequency (LTE 1800).
Is there a way to change it in the settings so as I can get hold of the 4G?
Thanks.

You should get 4g on the 1800 frequency. You can change between 3g and 4g in mobile data settings. However even if your network has 4g it will display 3g if you are not in a strong 4g signal area. It is the same here in the UK, 4g is fine where I live but I go over a bridge 5 minutes walk away and I can only get 3g! On some networks you need a new sim card for 4g to work as I did. Also do you have the correct APN settings for your network?
Yes I have the correct APN; otherwise if it's wrong I won't even get any data connection. Yes, I might be in a region where it's weak or unavailable but when I'm in a region fully covered by 4G, just outside the HQ of Orange, I still don't get it.
Try using mtk engineering mode app from play store(by go! or themonster) to force LTE - it's under telephony/network selecting.
yes then what do you do?
Hello friends I am new to this, I am from Venezuela and I have an HTC ONE M9 and I have the following problem that only 2G of internet data grabs me and it is very slow, how do I do to have 3G or H + I LTE my computer I think is pure GSM because when I change it to WCDMA it runs out of signal
try *#4636# and try change so mode of signal
