xposed now working on tab s3

A modified xposed installer and framework for nougat is now available thanks to the Purify os team and rovo

Follow the link above.
1. Make backups, twrp/titanium
2. Install the modified xposed installer first, must be done first!

Use the top one on the list it may get updated
3. Next download the modified xposed framework from Purify here

Follow the links.... SDK24 for nougat 7.0..... Then download the xposed version 87 model... Flash from twrp
Again make sure you fully back up, it all went fine for me, but sometimes these things don't go right.
Plenty of posts in the linked forum but a bit of a jumble as usual, all with varied results, but the above will work for us.
Not sure how many modules are usable yet, I have one working so I know it does work.

Status bar sleep.. Working
Status bar download progress.... Working (mostly)
Status bar cpu temp.. Not working
Status bar cpu frequency.. Not working
Any of the status bar theming such as wanams xtouchwiz would be good
Also xinternalsd was useful but not working

Not something I would normally do, is there a particular module you use for that?

It's been such a long time since I came across this, being able to adjust screen ratio and dpi on a per app basis. No real reason to now but with the 4:3 ratio on this tab, it'll be nice.
Also, been a while since I've used xbosed

I have been using it without problem for a while, but the versions used are crucial to success, I couldn't get the magisk systemless to work. Try going back to the beginning and make sure each download is correct, the method in the first post will work.

Get it work with super su but installed OBBonSD does not work (with GTA, KotoR,...). Do you have any idea?
EDIT: Found a solution with http://repo.xposed.info/module/com.pyler.xinternalsd

I have followed the directions exactly and I tried twice to install xposed on my t825 rooted with magisk 14. No luck unfortunately. Has anybody been successful in installing it ??
If yes, could he share the methodology ?

had the same problem.. remove magisk and install superSU.. xposed do not work with magisk -.-' on this tablet..

Question, how do I remove xposed again?
Can I do it with the installer app, or do I need a special skript? Never used Xposed on Samsung before and I know everything works differently.

Fairly old thread this, I have a T820, however I've made roms for both variants, the t825 thread is here,

the earlier versions are nougat the latest 3.0 on are oreo both work fine, you'll find instructions in the thread, if changing to oreo you need to flash the oreo bootloader, through odin, if returning to nougat you need to flash the older nougat bootloader as they're not cross compatible.
Xposed works fine on both, xposed installer included after booting, start the xposed installer app and select install it picks the correct version.
Root is by magisk.

Thanks for the answer and for the link SM-T825 TWEAKED, but I'm already Root with SuperSU + Dm-Verity with Rom ARA2 Nougat 7.0 and I just have to flash Xposed with TWRP.
So, I think I have to take Xposed.zip and Xposedinstaller APK from rovo89 in pure version without add and unmodified ?
I hope I'm not mistaken .....

Yes that's correct, just make sure you get the correct versions, if anything goes wrong just restore your backup.

Face Lock from Secure lock for all Devices

Hi,so this is my very first thread here on XDA so and I'm so excited to present to you my work.
So I originally created this zip file for my device J5 2015(J500F) for when I realized that the Face Unlock feature you get after flashing normal Gapps on an AOSP Rom didn't simply do the trick on TouchWiz Nougat Roms ported for the J500F like the Updesh Rom or the Odessey Roms. Whenever I flashed the Gapps for nougat and then rebooted,the play store vanished off along with Play Services app and If i tried to install or flash a zip of the play store or play services,they just gave the traditional annoying error' Unfortunately --- has stopped working'.
As per my knowledge about these things go, I can say that TouchWiz has already a modded version of play store embedded in the rom unlike Aosp which kinda clashes with Gapps zip when Flashed in Twrp so I went ahead n after some research on how to make Flashable zips and how to modify gapps i finally was able to make a working Gapps zip file that only flashed the face Unlock app and the libs required
This is technically meant for any device running Android Nougat 7.1 and up and having an ARMv7 CPU architecture.
So this may be helpful for those who want only the face Unlock feature from the secure lock and this will even work on heavily modded Roms and is regardless of the device!:good::good::fingers-crossed:
So Version 2 is already up and its kinda big in size right now but expect it to shrink soon!

A bit more info would be helpful. What device do you have? What android version do you have? Twrp version? Firmware?

Try the smart lock zip. You will probably have to reflash your ROM now because of the bootloop but this zip definitely works on odyssey ROM its what I used

That's weird because that's the zip I used when I had odyssey. Now I'm on the latest validus from last month and it also worked again. Sorry I couldn't help you any further but it should work for you. Try flashing again and wipe dalvik and cache after and see if that works.

Hi, could you try and install the facelock apk from apkmirror with root permissions in the system/app.
Just download the correct version for your android version and CPU architecture from ApkMirror and then place it in /system/app with a root file explorer like mi explorer or es file manager!

THEORY OF EVERYTHING
INTRODUCTION
Welcome to my first FULLY working ROM, this time its a stock based Oreo ROM based off of the V300L21b firmware.
This ROM is a bit debloated, meaning mainly all the korean apps are gone (a full list of debloated apps is in post #2).
The name of the ROM is from @einhuman197 (Tobs) from the V30 Telegram group
I think thats a good name (as I am myself a physics student, and a real admirer of Stephen Hawkins work).
FEATURES
debloated (some google apps like sheets, slides... and korean ones)
removed automatic encryption (even "normal" encryptable forced an encryption for me, so removed that alltogether)

Make sure your /data isnt encrypted though. I dont know how it will react if the ROM finds an encrypted /data partition, as I disabled it alltogether (****ed it up for me, even though forcencryption was off)

Copy it on your sdcard/internal memory
Boot into TWRP
Make a Backup of Boot/System/Data/Cache
Wipe /system, /data, /cache, /dalvik/cache in TWRP
Flash .zip file(s)

How do i restore to my previous ROM or go to another ROM?
Reboot into TWRP, wipe system, data, cache (do not format data if you wanna keep your internal memory), and restore your backup, or flash another ROM.
Warning: DO NOT USE LG UP TO RESTORE NOUGAT WITHOUT PERFORMING A FACTORY RESET BEFORE, YOU MIGHT END UP IN A BOOTLOOP

Nice job! If you fix the fingerprint sensor before LG releases Oreo for the US998 I'll give it a shot on mine. Take your time though, I'm sure LG won't release it for another 4-5 weeks ?

Got the system up and running
For now I can life without the fingerprintsensor (but still please fix it fast xD)
Flashed it via TWRP, System runs smooth and I can boot into TWRP without any problems.
The AI camera really improves the quality of the camera!
Small details like the boot splashscreen and name titels are still V300L21b not the V30 H930.
If you need any logs or when you need me to try something let me know :good:

Its just stock, so unrooted, Im using Magisk 16.2 myself and have no problems

Only way i have found (could be wrong though) how to add a new language to the whole system, is by manually decompiling all apps, and translating every string... and you can imagine, thats a damn lot of work (especially because i have no clue about polish xD).
And then to make it selectable in settings... Thats something i have no idea about, sorry :/

I didnt try that, and i suppose i wouldnt recommend it, as its a system update, and not even to the same model build as you have currently (as this is based off of the korean V300L).
You can try it though, but make sure to make a backup of EVERYTHING you wanna keep, in case something goes wrong.

Do a Clean flash - it is always good to avoid problems.
Also its grand update, not a little one.

These roms are stock, have the most common apps optimized by Sony kept in /system, all common functions are enabled.
What's noticeable is that I get 8 hr sot on Oreo with stamina performance mode, haven't tested yet, but Nougat is much lighter, it seems.

then you just have to delete hosts in system/etc/hosts (or .old) it is part of adblocking

And, we all would love to know what exactly you have removed from the fw, except for the Facebook app, and what you have added (if any).

Problem is for microg to work, xposed plus microg services and Google services to need to enabled from start otherwise bootloop, but I'm actually working on a small patch now

I have recovered only the data partitions from an existing backup.Then it became possible to enter the main ui.
However, a message stating that it is still starting.
xperia home,I installed it and it worked.
I installed Evernote app in that state and it does not work.
I installed Google keeps, but it was the same.
So, I installed the unlimited rom patch in xda and it worked.
I got full deodex rom.
I will try the Nano Droid.
Edit. I tried nanodroid. But I cant..
Sadly I have no ability..

GOOD NEWS EVERYONE I succeeded in making xposed work for g8141 g8142 on .179 firmware. I analyzed Chinese frameworks and such. Here is proof.
this mod will be released in 2 days. It is a new rom, basically, just flash it over any .179 firmware and no I cannot release it as patch, because the whole rom is build around the framework.

Introduction
I am aware that our smartphone is really obsolete and this ROM comes late.
I just wanted to do justice to this glorious drive that has been with me for so many years and it is still working and quite fast.
Why this ROM
During last years I enjoyed installing many custom ROMs and kernels, but while I was having fun most of the time I was wasting my time experiencing reboots, crashing apps, unstable kernels, battery draining fast, thousand of other minor/big issues.
I treasured all my experience and created my ROM following my thoughts.
This ROM was only for me and now I want to share it with you.
What is this ROM
*ONLY STOCK EXPERIENCE*, no mods, no custom apps.
This will remain as clean and stable as possible.
I just removed all bloatware, unlocked all csc features and repacked it with the latest patches I’ve found.
What is NOT this ROM
In this ROM there aren’t any custom or modded apps.
There are lot of other awesome ROMs plenty of nice mods. Pick one of them if you are looking for non stock experience.
Feel free to change by yourself your Launcher and your keyboard (I personally use Nova Launcher and SwiftKey).
Feel free even to use it for your mods or apply root.

Any advice or constructive criticism are welcome.
Installing - (TL: DR; TWRP, QK1, Only i9505)
TWRP recovery request.
Copy the zip StockWiz_v[x.x]_[date]_[features].zip into your SD Card.
Backup your data
Reboot into Recovery mode.
Install "StockWiz_v[x.x]_[date]_[features].zip".
Wipe Cache and Dalvik
Restart the device.
Done!
Manually uninstall applications like Shazam if you don’t need them (I’ll remove them in next releases). Change your launcher and keyboard if you want (I suggest Nova Launcher and SwiftKey). You can also apply root.
N.B.: if there is signal or WiFi issue, it needs to flash again. If the problem persists you have to flash *twice* any stock QK1 firmware with ODIN

Fast , Slim and Great ROM and also my proximity sensor works fine and there are no bloatapp (Shazam) that's posted on the Known issues

Thank you so much @FIFFY_2 . I have tried many ROMs too, and it was funny.
But I prefer a ultra-stable and clean device now.
I think this is also the best for battery drain (remember to use this ROM at least three/four days in order the kernel can settle down)

I agree, S-Memo is a great app, unfortunately it would depend on other fat apps (I'll check to be sure)
Samsung browser works really fast, but I chose to remove it from pre-installed apps and permit who like it to install by himself from google play.

Wi-Fi won't turn on problem FIX
Ok, installed right now
Some *issues with wifi (wont turn on)* and find a stock rom (QK1) is very hard in 2019 (too slow download speed)

But I totally agree to the previous comments:
1. Smemo is useful.
2. Stock browser is useful
3. a link to solve WiFi problems with necessary files is needed
What do I have to flash again? The bootloader (which)? the modem (which)?
4. Istalling Xposed via Magisk should be possible. Are there issues?
and: What means "TWRP recovery request" ??
I hope this rom works without TWRP and I can use the old CWM Recovery by Philz.
TWRP always makes problems for me, when I try to load the TWRP backup to another phone.
With CWM no such problems.

OK, I have tried it. Looks good at the first view, but still some minor useless system app leftovers.
Would like to uses this "stock" rom, but ....
The problem is, I can't install Xposed Framework. Neither directly, nor via Magisk. After flashing the framework, the boot gets stuck at the samsung logo.
Will try a deodexed TW 5.0.1 now ....

Why you want install systemless xposed and Magisk, as for me its no need for old device, I install SuperSu and system xposed, all works (attach system xposed installer below).
About not wokring WiFi, here is link on SuperTouchWiz v9 there you can find modem and bootloader for WiFi.

Because my banking TanGeneratorApp requests an unmodiefied system.
So Magisk root / hide is needed for sure.
Not sure if the banking app will complain about Xposed if it is not systemless.
I will try the attached Xposed version .... does it work for the Samsung i9505?
