................ nope
Not yet. A method should be out soon, though.
I heard updating the prl fixes it even if there is no update.

Hey guys, I was thinking just now that the community needs a GUIDE on how to back up the imei number of our beloved (lol), and expensive note 2's!
If anyone would be kind enough to post links to tools/toolkits that can be used and needed for the process and a detailed guide on how to do it, you would be doing all of us a great favor. Right now im not sure how to do it and firmly believe in keeping backups of anything important!
Thanks
I use this. Works like a charm. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1901098http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1901098

You're welcome!
So I got my note 2 on day one and love it! Coming for the htc amaze 4g, the note 2 is awesome. So after 15 days I rooted my note 2. So easy when compared to the htc amaze or G1 days. Lol. I flashed jedi x-3 and everything was perfect. Then i saw jedi master 5 and flash it, I try to use my navigation but 1) gps icon didn't showed and 2) location was never found. So I nand restored to jedi x-3 but gps is dead! Has anyone had this experience? Thanks!

Download GPS Test from market. Hit menu, clear AGPS, then hit Update AGPS. Should restore functionality.

You may have to odin back to stock to get rid of the bug that's screwing with your gps. If all else fails, that may be your only option. Good luck.

So I am back and like I suspected I am 99.9% sure that GPS IS DEAD!!! Tried the clear the agps. Then tried to go back stock through odin, but nothing. I even went one step further and had a nand restore withnthe backup when I rooted my note 2 the first time. So everthing was working on that nand backup and went to restore with stock, but to no avail! Anyways bad luck? Maybe? Thanks everyone for the help and for your recommendation. :good: :good:

Yea maybe I not smart enough like you. Do you have any recommendation to fix my gps problem less than 15 mins?
Yea I do. Download a tool called ODIN. also go to the android development forum and find the thread by author
Teshxx
Its called stock factory image. Download that file. Also search for a guide on how to return your device back to stock. Then flash that factory image
Look im being serious. If you do all this...the total time not including download time is a bout 15 minutes and your phone WILL work. I promise!

:highfive: You are right. Hope this isn't a serious problem with all note 2?
Hey there,
I've just registered in XDA because I've no idea what to do and maybe someone with some knowledge could enlighten me.
The situation: I have an original note 7 on my hands and I updated it to "death update" and now I can not use the phone even if it's plugged in.
The question is: is there any chance to make a downgrade to the phone? I've tried to boot download mode and recovery but there is no answer.
If I change the battery to one from a S7 edge for instance, is there any chance to make it turn on again?
Is there any other solution to turn it on?
Thanks a lot for the help
Cheers!!
PS Sorry for being this my first post, but I'm truly lost. Thaks a lot
