Hi all.
I have found this Samsung theme designer http://http://developer.samsung.com/bada-themes/tools-sdks/Samsung-Theme-Designer-2-0-4 is this what I need to create s6/S7 themes. If so where can I find a template so I can design or edit some themes please.

Hi Mercedes.
Unfortunately no, it isn't. The theme designer you've linked is outdated (2012).
Now they call it "Theme Service" and you must apply and be accepted to start using theirs web based designing tool:
http://developer.samsung.com/theme-service
Master @pas2001 is one of the few fortunates that had already been accepted by Samsung.
Nevertheless, this is no limitation to honorables like @bobster0203, @Venom0642 and @ted77usa that are already ruling the field despite Samsung wishes :victory:
You may follow their work here.
Be welcome to the simple mortals family. :cyclops:
Nice regards.

It's not "so" ... so ... I may suggest you an alternate approach as below:
(Note: it's not a "state of art" as others but it's mine and I can submit it to you)
a) Download my S6 theme package (signature link)
b) Download my KATKit set of tools (signature link)
c) Decompile the Theme Package (with the tools)
d) Play with the Theme. Learn. Talk. Shout. This is a development/sharing forum. We are all here for this purpose only.
e) Recompile YOUR OWN Theme Package (with the tools)
f) Share it with the community
g) Be Xtremely Welcome

Hi KnifeCat
Yes, it's possible.
Coding knowledge is desirable but not mandatory. Design skills are placed just between desirable and mandatory.
Only will is mandatory.
There are a lot of stuff regarding your needs that has been already discussed during the development of the AllBacksBlack S6 that you probably will consider very useful. Please take your time to read the thread.
The above development used a tool set named KAT Kit that, as you will see, is already set up to work with Samsung Theme Engine. Again, read the thread that there are lots of needed knowledge spread there.
Be welcome to post further questions onto appropriate thread.
Nice regards.

Hi all,
I'm currently working on a 2.1 Sense-UI 'Lite' Rom, which will use a customised, lightened version of the Espresso Rosie. I'll be no-doubt spending every second of my free time in Photoshop with the aim of making this rom look stunning.
As for the rom itself:
I've used highlights from several of the current 2.1 releases from this and other forums, and I'm pretty happy with it so far; it has a very small 'not working' list, and the filesize is reasonably low for a Sense UI rom. Of course, I'll credit people where credit is due.
Anyway, the questions. Some of this may seem incredibly dumb. Please assume that I have an understanding of Linux, but I am very new to Android Development. I've simply read the guide that Lox posted, then taken a 'learn whilst I work' approach. So...
1. How do I edit the 'Software Number'? (I can't seem to find it)
2. If I start again with a clean, AOSP 2.1 rom, how do I make it use Rosie? It can't just be a case of putting the Rosie.apk in the right place can it?
3. If I want to select which apps/widgets appear and where, do I edit the relevant XML which contains the Screen/X/Y locations?
If/when I have more questions, I'll post them here!
Thanks in advance
1. Sorry dont know,
2. No you need to add all the framework files, quite a few of them I think.
3. system/customize/mns/default.xml
Dan
Thanks Dan. I have the Framework files, so that's easy enough.
I suspected it was the default.xml, so thanks again.
Anyone know the answer to my first question?
I think that it is somwhere in build.prop but I can be wrong.
1. No idea what you mean by 'Software Number'
2. com.htc.framework.jar and friends need to be added to init.rc's BOOTCLASSPATH var ... so at the very least, you need to provide a custom boot.img ... that rules out adding it over other custom ROMs ... on top of that all the Rosie related /system files need to be present...
3. yes - that default.xml is the place ..
Good luck ...!
(Side note ... Why oh why would you want to add sense!)
Please post here all the images and sounds from WP7(samsung,dell,htc,lg) for those who create WP7 themes(like me) and 6.1,6.5,6.5.x roms with the look and sounds of WP7.
Thank you
ps:if is the wrong place, please move the thread
Please post these types of posts in the WP7 Software and Development section.

The first time you use the Gingerbread Keyboard (any theme) it NEEDS to be flashed with the zip files provided. This is because it installs the keyboard app & a Library file (.so extension) that is required for it to work.
After you have flashed at least one of the Gingerbread keyboards, you may take the apk out of the zip file and install like any other app with a file manager (Root Explorer, My Files, etc.).
Not to sound selfish, but everyone that is thanking the OP, can you please take the time to thank myself, camalot, and s0niqu3 over in the original thread.
maybe you can include french too =) ?
Hi Razer(x)
Hope you can add italian dictionary.
Thank's for all your works.
Would be nice if you could include English.
No offence but currently it's American
Thanks for your work. I'm very happy you got vibration feedback working
ANY REQUESTS SHOULD BE MADE IN THE ORIGINAL THREAD.
Not to take away from this (the mod) getting seen by new eyes, but all Razer(x) has done is post the link to Camalot's thread. Please read that OP to see that different languages were taken out for a reason and to find out that Camalot will need help adding languages back in properly (due to his MASSIVE modifications).

When I checked out this tread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1896299) obout roms, I installed one for the HTC Titan, but there was one thing, What happened to my beatiful font (Tango), then i found this thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1898893). So I went looking for those fonts, and I found them.
Here are they: http://www.mediafire.com/?wiwccsi0k4i8abc
GUIDE
Download Windows Phone Device Manager (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=965788)
(You need .Net 4.0)
you open it, and connect your device.
you click browse, or something
navigate to the windows folder
paste all the files in the zip file
Reboot
Man, are you kidding ?
So I went looking for those fonts, and I found them

Why did you searched for these fonts ? I add link in first post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=6455373&postcount=6 and this what you give this is the same (I don't see differences).
Why you add a new thread on the same subject ? I don't know.
OP,
Sir please search before opening the same topic threads. It appears your fonts have been addressed.
Thank You and Thread Closed.
Hello,
I would like to know how I would go about porting this TWRP theme from the HTC One X to our phone! Any help is appreciated! And not I'm not asking for someone to do it for me, but if you know how to do it I'd appreciate that too!
Theme: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1942309
Thank in advance!
To port this theme you will have to modify the code in the .xml file within the .zip. It's not as easy as just simply changing the 1280x720 pixel resolution code to 800x480 pixels (just tried, ahaha). You'll have to modify the codes that links to the particular images being used so that it would resize properly, problem is that there are alot that needs to be changed.
I would do it for you, but I wouldn't know where to start as it would be my first time to work on a theme for TWRP. It would be better to ask the original creator of the theme if they can do it for you or perhaps pass his/her knowledge to you.
