Hi all,
I feel a bit daft asking this as I've been using Android for a good few years now.
Yesterday I connected my SW3 to my new S7. When I put my phone on mute at night, the watch still vibrates for notifications which is really annoying.
This didn't happen with my Z5 compact.
Any ideas?

.. Yeah this was the same for me - now I use 'downtime' on the phone and it mutes the watch accordingly ...

Forgive my lack of knowledge, but is downtime an app or setting in the phone I haven't come across?

Hi, On my phone (5.1.1) it's a setting under > Sound and Notifications > Interruptions

hi guys,
i've switched from GS2 to GN and miss the integrated function to mute the sound just put face down the phone
there is an app on market that do the same thing?
thanks!
Very easy to do with Tasker. Costs a bit though, but there's a lot you can do with it.

yes very easy but not the same implementation
with taker i need to do two profile to put/remove silent based on device position
the implementation on samsung touchwiz/htc sense make phone silent only with one motion and only when you do it. I think that with Tasker, if I accidentally put phone on face down (and not voluntary) i'll lost ringtone..
I haven't tested it but this is one choice

yea you can do it without tasker without randomly silencing the ringtone, you can set it to only work when your phone is ringing
Anybody else get this?

Do elaborate. What's odd? What's the source of the sound? Speaker? Or simply the vibration unit?
A buzzing sound. Coming from the vibrating unit itself.

Both my GNex and DInc do it. Sounds like something loose in the case buzzing.

I find the vibration unit of my gnex rather strong. I use a custom kernel that allows one to turn it down a notch. Could help with your buzzing sound perhaps.
Its quite annoying as I got caught in class with my phone because of it lol first day of senior year too xDxD

I have that too (nyan tuna beta 3) and the vibration settings won't hold, after a few seconds of being out of the vibration settings menu it feels like it goes back to defaults. But when I check the setting its where I left it. I'm useing maddogin jb24 BTW

You have to get a custom kernel and turn the strength down. I use fancy kernel and trickster mod app

My phone chimes randomly and I don't know why. I've unchecked all the apps that could notify me but yet it still chimes. Anyone have a similar experience?

I had this problem on OnePlus phone. For me I finally discovered that I had a bank card in the folding cover and every time I bent the cover back and over the camera or scanner it was reading the chip on the card. Moved the card down the case and the problem was solved. Hope this helps
Love the moto 360 and super happy with it, though there's one thing I've always wanted to do with it and i haven't seen it posted anywhere.
I'd like to be able to receive a notification to my watch and have the screen NOT wake but still receive both the notification (To view when i'm ready) and the vibration (To know i have a notification).
There has to be a way to do this. Can anyone help?

I got Lightflow to vibrate..but how do you keep the card? The only solution I found was to turn block the notification for the app (in my case Textra) and turn on the vibrate in Lightflow. It would be nice to have the vibrate and card but without the screen on.
I installed lightflow but I don't understand how I'm supposed to use it? I too would be interested in some way to get notifications that are a little more private. Can someone walk me through the steps to set up gmail as an example so I get some sort of notification on the watch without the watch screen coming on? Or a way to get notifications without the subject or content showing up until I am ready to check it?

Hi,
Just noticed that my phone changes to Alarms only mode when making phone calls (changes back when call ends). Can anyone else confirm this? Thanks

So how will this affect calls or how can I turn if off?

Thanks! Kind of funny how it does that. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't caused by any of my apps. I'm using one called Tiles that lets you add a ringer mode tile and I thought it might be doing something funny.

Yeah noticed this right away... That and I can't tether anymore w/ the new update using Signal Refresh.
