Hi,
Just noticed that my phone changes to Alarms only mode when making phone calls (changes back when call ends). Can anyone else confirm this? Thanks

Thanks! Kind of funny how it does that. Just wanted to make sure it wasn't caused by any of my apps. I'm using one called Tiles that lets you add a ringer mode tile and I thought it might be doing something funny.

Yeah noticed this right away... That and I can't tether anymore w/ the new update using Signal Refresh.

After seeing the sgs3 Verizon commercials showing off voice command in some apps, I figured I'd try it on my sprint sgs3 and it works flawlessly....for the most part...when I receive a call, I keep saying "answer" or "reject" to the point where I'm yelling at the phone, and still no response. The other voice commands work fine, but I want the phone voice command functions to work. For those of you that don't know what I'm talking about, go to settings--language and keyboard---voice cmd. Attached is a screenshot of my settings within that menu

And I know the picture shows otherwise, but my settings are in fact turned on! Just thought I'd clear that up
Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
I did the same thing. but figured it out. Go to language and input and press on voice cmd and check the incoming calls box.
Edit
Oops never mind.. try restarting your phone
Does my screen need to be unlocked when I get a call to use this feature? My screen is looked and whenever I get a call, with commands to accept or reject the call don't work...kinda mad I wanna be cool and show it off to people lol

You need to turn off vibrate for incoming calls for answer/reject voice commands to work.
Was driving me crazy trying to figure this out until someone mentioned it on another thread. But I'm surprised Samsung doesn't have proper instructions explaining this. Anyways...

Thanks man, I'll disable the vibration. Don't even know why vibration matters.
Also how do I disable it? Do I uncheck sound and vibration or do I turn the vibration intensity for phone calls all the way down?

Does vibration need to be turned off for the clock command to work?

Yes. Just uncheck sound and vibration. The 'vibration off' matters because it gets in the way of hearing your voice. Makes perfect sense. And no, the vibration doesn't need to be turned off for the snooze command.

So even if I leave vibration intensity for phone calls all the way up, unchecking sound and vibration will make my voice command work? Just wanna clear it up. And thanks for your help too, I appreciate it

Yeah, you can have your vibration intensity all the way up, just as long as its not active for incoming calls, by unchecking sound and vibration. This is only needed if you want to use the voice cmd to verbally answer and reject incoming calls. All other voice commands are independent of the vibration settings.

Wouldn't that turn off vibration for notifications though?

The vibration matters because people will half their phone on a flat surface half the time and it will make a loud buzz sound which will disrupt it from picking up your voice saying reject or answer.

I searched and could not find anything regarding changing the vibration pattern for an all stock note 2. Mine will only vibrate in a single long pattern, no matter what I set it to in the settings. I like to use the stock messaging because it's compatibility with the lock screen but I'd really like it to vibrate in a couple short pulses instead of that single long one. If I'm missing something I apologize but I have no idea what to change aside from the options in the settings menu. Any help or other information would be much appreciated, I'm sure it's something silly I'm missing anyway!
Go to settings- sounds-device vibration u can chabge it to a few different patterns

Thanks for the reply, I did that however, and it only impacts the ringtone.

Same problem for me, and it's super frustrating. Is this specific to the AT&T version I wonder??

I am not sure! That is how the note 1 default notification vibrate was, the single long pulse. The sms mms one was a quick twin pulse, I'd prefer that! I like how the sms app works with the tw lock screen and launcher etc so I don't want to use another one if I can avoid it. I wish it would allow me to use a different vibration setting because my phone is silent a lot! I asked samsung and they gave me the ringtone answer. The service from the online chat is weak.

Awesome. Thanks for the info. I downloaded the app and tried to set it up but it wanted to stop air view in the process. A related application was there

It will read notifications to you, like who the call is from, or who the text is from. I find it irritating.
Please don't turn it on.
It is very, very annoying.
I like it. Except it shut off after plugging/unplugging the phone.
Love the moto 360 and super happy with it, though there's one thing I've always wanted to do with it and i haven't seen it posted anywhere.
I'd like to be able to receive a notification to my watch and have the screen NOT wake but still receive both the notification (To view when i'm ready) and the vibration (To know i have a notification).
There has to be a way to do this. Can anyone help?

I got Lightflow to vibrate..but how do you keep the card? The only solution I found was to turn block the notification for the app (in my case Textra) and turn on the vibrate in Lightflow. It would be nice to have the vibrate and card but without the screen on.
I installed lightflow but I don't understand how I'm supposed to use it? I too would be interested in some way to get notifications that are a little more private. Can someone walk me through the steps to set up gmail as an example so I get some sort of notification on the watch without the watch screen coming on? Or a way to get notifications without the subject or content showing up until I am ready to check it?

So one of the few things that bothered me about the OP6T was that when I adjust the volume, while it does let me quickly switch my audio output which is cool, the little hovering quick menu only shows me media volume and makes me go into the settings to change everything else.
This is where I stumbled on VolumePie, which is a non-root required volume slider replacement. I attached a few pictures so you can see what it looks like. The only thing that you "lose" is the ability to quick switch your audio output, but honestly I find the need to change my volumes independently more often than changing the audio output.
Here's the Play Store link. There's a pay version but I'm just using the free :]

.... For some reason I feel the need to say that this isn't some kind of advertisement. 2018 is weird....
Just an FYI. This app interferes with some texting apps. Textra specifically. It causes an issue where you don't have the option to add an attachment to a text.

Weird, I just tried Textra and have no issues adding attachments to text messages. I just sent one and it went though without issue.

Yeah that's really weird, I don't see what you see in my side. Perhaps that's a mixture of Swiftkey and VolumePie?
