[MOD] [4.3] [10.4.1.B.0.101] SystemUI Quick Settings mod

First, forgive me about my english
Second, because i hate sony limit quick settings to 10 button so i decide to mod it, allow max 15 button

This for stock rom and it is deodexed. So if you want to use it on odex rom pls delete SystemUI.odex before use.
How to apply
Use root explorer replace old SystemUI and restart the phone :good:

any tutorial on how to do it?

Copy and paste to system/app.
You must delete the .odex file before.

Decompile my SystemUI.apk and use winmerge to compare with original SystemUI :laugh:

0. SuperUserMod is MANDATORY (install serajrs xperia xposed module)
1. Remove or rename /system/priv-app/SystemUI/SystemUI.apk
2. Remove or rename /system/priv-app/SystemUI/arm/
3. Download file from Google drive link bellow and put it to /system/priv-app/SystemUI/
4. Change permissions to -rw-r--r-- (chmod 644)
5. Restart SystemUI or reboot device.
After this may work another mods from @eskamhl.

6. Flash AOSP-Battery.zip in recovery for AOSP Battery icon. It's recommended to turn of percentage in personalization settings. Stamina indicator is disabled in non-percentage mode.

I just realized, that problem can be with superusermod, I have serajrs module xperia xposed, which has superusermod function. Try it if you want.

Because i need to decompil SystemUI to Mod it for remove Swipe unlock help text.
By the way, i don't think that Crisscross Rom v1. 1 MM is deodexed, so it wont working because odexed apk can't be edited correctly.
Working for me on my own 5.1.1 deodexed Rom without any problem...

Sure
Decompil SystemUI.
Go in res/values/strings.xml, search for <string name="Lockscreen_unlock_help_text"<Swipe to unlock></strings> and delete text between < and > (Swipe to unlock).
Do the same in all values folders (values-fr/strings.xml, values-de/strings.xml...).
Then recompil SystemUI.

Okay, so after a (very) long wait for the official MM update, it finally came out, so I downloaded it and while using it I somehow came up with the idea of Deodexing it to see if other developers can continue their ports, etc (e.g S7 UI port,...), and I came out with superrs' kitchen and gave it a shot. I then also saw that with this kitchen I could also debloat the ROM, de-knox it, etc. and it built the ROM correctly.
It is based on the United Arab Emirates firmware, but I can try and build a new one as soon as another one comes out if you guys ask for it
Enough talking for now, so here it is:
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1) Download original Firmware and mod (see below for latest version)
2) Boot to recovery and wipe everything (internal storage isn't necessary, but it is always recommended to start a 100% clean installation)
3) Boot to Download mode and flash original firmware using ODIN
4) Let it boot, configure your things, etc and then go back to download mode
5) Flash latest TWRP recovery (don't let the phone boot. Press volume up + home + power until "recovery is not seandroid enforcing" message pops up as soon as ODIN finishes the flashing process)
6) Press install and select this mod
7) Wait for the magic to be done

It should work following those steps, but please post if you encounter any problems

I activated it with the kitchen, but doesn't seem to work. I will look into root when I have a bit of free time (next week is the last school week )

But rooting it after installing should work you think?

Maybe the same rooting method as for lollipop works.

it also gives me that error, but then everything works perfectly, so I guess you can just ignore it

Thank you for making this. I however encounter a problem : the installation finished "succesfully" on twrp (also with the same error message than Sunn76), but when I want to reboot it tells me I have no OS installed. If i do so my screen just stays on the first boot image.

Try and flash using odin the official unmodified update and then twrp. After that flash the deodexed version using twrp.
Hopefully that works

Same here, it says installation successful finished. Then when I reboot it says no OS installed.
So I went back to A5 flashed First, then your zip. No success.

Yeah, I think Arab update should be there already. I haven't tried it just to flash this over cm or whatever, so it is probably that causing it..

Just not working.
Just installed The Original Update (Arab) then the Zip.
It stays for 40 min on Samsung Boot Logo and nothing happens

And the best thing is that i realy have problems to install anything else now

It also took a very long time for me until it finally booted, so maybe try again and just leave it for a longer time

What is this?
Pixel Experience is an AOSP based ROM, with Google apps included and all Pixel goodies (launcher, wallpapers, icons, fonts, bootanimation)

Known issues
Encryption seems not work - and has not been tested. -> Pls do not encrypt your data partition yet.
Keymaster -> If you set Pattern, PIN or Password the Screen unlock may not work correctly..
Workaround for Pattern: On fresh boot you will need to wait a bit longer before you enter credentials..
The waiting time is required on fresh boot only, the following unlocks are working normally.
In case of problems pls use
Update.ZIP_TWRP_flashable_pattern_pin_remover_V2.zip.
