I want to get a replacement battery for my Z1 (C6902) and I am wondering what the most reputable sources are. I'm having a hard time finding batteries since the Z1 hasn't been in production for 2/3 years.
Where should I buy a replacement battery? US links would preferred
search ebay they have OEM batteries their for 15$ OR You can get one from aliexpress
This is what I got, works perfect.
LINK
+1 for the OEM battery from eBay. They're like 15 bucks and should work just fine. Don't go for the higher mAh batteries as it's not possible to create a larger capacity by using the same technique and available space.

It also must be standard size. Thank you.

Oh, dear god, DO NOT buy those ****ty ebay batteries. If a battery isn't at least $30, it will be complete crap. I recently bought one of these deals on ebay for two batteries and a standalone battery charger for $25 and the batteries don't last more than ONE TO TWO HOURS. I'm okay with that, though, because the only thing I really wanted was the standalone charger and those aren't sold without batteries.
If you need spare, long lasting batteries, buy a Mugen Power. Mugen's are, without a doubt, the best aftermarket battery and will last just as long as your OEM Motorola, if not a little longer. Don't skimp on battery costs because you get what you pay for and there's a reason why those no-name ebay batteries are cheaper than dirt. (Hint: it's because they're worthless.)
This is what you want: Mugen Power 1900mAh Atrix battery
I always buy the standalone chargers, though, so that way I never end up charging my phone via USB cable; instead I just swap batteries.
Just contact Motorola support, they should send you one free because your phone is still under warranty.

Why should they send anyone a free spare battery? Ugh people here just love taking advantage of warranties for fraudulent reasons.
Anyway, screw post #2, it totally ignores the OP's request. You can get yourself a BH6X from Amazon http://www.amazon.com/Motorola-Droi...ef=sr_1_1?rps=1&ie=UTF8&qid=1309970791&sr=8-1
Hopefully that links to the right bit, sold through and shipped through Amazon so you know you can trust it. Plus that way free shipping if you have Prime. I just got mine last week, it's definitely legit.

I actually have, sitting on my desk right now, one of these batteries. It's a legitimate, OEM BH6X, just like the battery that comes with the Atrix. For the Droid X, it's an extended battery, needing a new battery cover. Blame whoever wrote the listing for putting the wrong info there.
Says right on the battery 1880 mAh minimum, 1930 mAh typical.
I actually haven't been able to track down an OEM standalone battery charger though, so I'm using an Amzer one which is very basic and very cheap feeling but gets the job done.

I have (3) Motorola OEM BH6X batteries (1 of them being the 1 that came with the device) and they all state 1880 mAh
and
i have (3) Motorola OEM BH5X batteries that state 1500 mAh on these.
What model # are these "1930"(s) you speak of?

If you have 3 BH6X, you'd see right next to where they state 1880 mAh it says 1880 is the minimum, and 1930 mAh is typical.

It fits normally, as far as it being "better" I haven't noticed any differences in performance. Definitely comparable to the OEM one. I'd definitely recommend it.

Thank you.
1. is there an extended SLIM battery? I can really do without the extra bulk, I got 2 kids and already carry around suitcases when I go out haha
2. Can I use a generic 2300mah? Such as an eBay battery? Any warnings about using generic non branded batteries???
3. Can anyone recommend a long lasting battery... cheap?
Thanks in advance

Really, not one person can answer my question?

well, there is a sticky at the top of this forum dedicated to extended batteries. you could look there.....
but anyway, i bought a hyperion 2200mah and it fits with the stock back door on verizon. Which is all i wanted. A little extra juice while retaining the slim profile andusing my cases that i already boght.
it was only 6.99
I checked that thread but it doesn't say if I could use generics from eBay etc
I need something that will let me use all my apps notifications without shutting everything down and using power save and all that. How many hours does 2200 give u? Isn't the sg3 equipped with a 2100?

dont know the answer but it might be in this link. theres 40+ pages here.
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1843896&page=43
stock is 2100, yes. 2200 is only a little more but it was cheap and I wanted the extra juice and it fits under the stock back which lets me use my cases.
i had to charge it for 12 hrs initially then 100% to 0% four to five times. right now im at.....
24.5 hrs on battery
2hr8min screen on time
and i have 47% left.
running AOKP M1 w KT747 kernel
The biggest size you can get from the US 2300mah. There have plenty generic ones on Ebay or other ones on Amazon which I will link below.

There is also a 2400mah one made by Polarcell but this is from the UK and costs about $23 US dollars. I may try it out.

2300 mAh slim extended battery by mugen power gets my vote. Just bought it and received it in the mail the other day, and although it does come at a pretty steep price at about $40 USD with a coupon, it does indeed add a decent 1-3 hours of extra usage to your phone, and about 30 minutes to 1 hour of extra screen on-time.

Coupon code for discount: MUGENRULEZ
Enjoy!

Here is stock sized battery with 2800 mah. capacity and NFC capability.
http://item.mobileweb.ebay.com/viewitem?itemId=321023235437&index=18&nav=SEARCH&nid=40230123151
Best stock sized batt. I have found. Less than $25.00 with shipping.
I cannot positively verify capacity but, I have been using for a couple of days and after a few charge cycles to saturate and settle it in, seems legit.

May I ask how do you find this new battery when compared to the stock one? how much longer does it last (if any) under same/similar conditions?
I would be very careful when buying batteries from a Chinese/ Hong Kong based site. In fact I would probably not buy from them at all.
I bought the phone from my friend who didn't have the stock battery, and the one he gave me is terrible. Where can I buy the stock battery?

eBay sells them for around 6 USD. Alternatively, you can spend 10-11$ on eBay as well and get a anker 2200 mAh battery, which has slighty more capacity than the stock battery. =)

dont think the one you get for 6$ would be original however anker make good batteries and is worth the 10$ investment, you could also look at an extended battery from hyperion or anker in tune of 4200~4400mah

Ah true they seem to be around 12$ for the OEM, not sure where I got 6 from haha. But yeah anker or hyperion is the way to go for 10$ batteries that have solid performance, otherwise if you want an extra 100 mAh you can go for the mugen 2300 for 40$.
I've been seeing the 2100 OEM batteries around $15. The ones that are less are Chinese counterfeits. Don't be dumb.

Honestly, if you want the NFC capability, buying from the official Samsung website is the way to go.
However, if NFC isn't necessary, Anker makes great batteries. I got 2 for a good deal. Been using all 3 and have good battery life.
You can get them off Amazon.

I have Anker 2200mAh battery and i can highly recommend it. I also have a cheap 4500mAh battery, which has lasted even 3 days in normal usage. With Anker/Hyperion 4200-4400mAh, you can probably get even 4-5 days, because they are much better quality.

No it's not possible to have higher rating than standard with a battery that is the same size. It's physically impossible using the same battery chemistry to have higher output. (many cheap ones actually hold less charge as they are made of lower quality material)
(Extender batteries are available with higher ratings but they are much bigger and need a bigger back cover)

I know saying this probably isn't that helpful, but you'll probably be better of buying a new standard sized battery from a legit company, provided you can find one that hasn't been laying on a shelf for three years already. Most of the cheap (higher capacity) Chinese batteries you'll find on aliexpress will be fakes (or low quality) anyway. It's just highly unlinkely that it's possible to fit a capacity that high in the same package as a 2700Mah battery.
