The best way to go is to backup, try it yourself, restore if you don't like it.

I'm new here.
I ask a few.
I installed the 0.8.2 IceColdJelly Rome. Thanks for this
For my understanding:
Why do I need a boot.img?
Need into a separate kernel? If so, what?
e.g. Faux? Why?
Sorry for my bad english...
Thank you

boot.img = your kernel
I personally am sticking to stock kernel because it apparently is the most "stable" kernel around, and honestly if i don't have lag i don't see a reason to switch. As to why you would want to switch to faux kernel, i hope someone answers that question for you.

AFAIK trinity rom had stopped development. I personal recommend you to flash existenz rom. It is based on official jb 4.1 so it is the most stable rom for now. In performance part, it is very smooth with doomkernel installed and if you wan to tweak for more smooth experience, crossbreeder+v6supercharger is recommend. i am using these tweaks and now my phone is flying
1. These kind of topics are against the rules
2. Paranoid android by deedwar is the stableist at the moment

The phone gets hot very quickly. I am waiting for help to flash this kernel because the carbon kernel is overclocked to 1.89 GHz.

Hello guys! Can you help me choose the best rom, for my d855? I don't have much time becouse I'm on fullday work and it's hard to flash new roms. I need Stock look rom, with good performance and battery life. I'll be very thankful sorry for bad english
You can go with the stock Marshmallow.
If you love to have a custom Rom.fulmics is the best.

I think AR beast is better. More customization and better overall hope I helped
I need some help. I'm pretty noob with all what is related to kernel and Custom Rom in general. I just wanted to know if using QPST method I restore the stock kernel, if previously I installed another one with a Custom Rom.
And if i doesn't, where can I find it?
