LG E985 Optimus Pro Secure Booting Error! Cause: boot certification verify - LG Optimus G Pro

Hi,
I have a LG prototype model LG 985. Phone had limited functionality so i tried to install GApps and some how it went wrong and Phone lands in Secure Booting Error.
I contacted LG support in India. they were not able to work on this phone because it doesn't have India IMEI and they don't have flash file for E985.
Now i am totally stuck in this. let me know how i can fix it. i am fine with LG flash or cynogen. i just need this phone active.
i went thru many thread but most of thread's link are not working. can someone provide me complete steps and working link ?
Thank you in advance and looking for positive response.
Thanks

Kdz

@mukesh_bhootra check the general session. There's a sticky thread about returning to stock. There you'll find a kdz filed for your e985. This thread is by Hyelton if I'm not wrong.

[Q] Stuck in Secure booting Error

Hi
I´m a very new in this field, so I would appreciate some HELP!
I tried to find a way to have other ROMs installed on my Optimus G, but got lost in the proces and am not really sure where I ended.
The today I got a software update from LG, I installed it, but now I am stuck in:
Secure booting Error! Cause: boot certification verify
I simply don´t know what to do?
Thanks to whoever will bear with me...
Do you have a LS970 or a e975? Your sig says E975, in which case you need to use kdz updater to go back to complete stock.
Sounds like you are still locked. If you want to stay locked then look at Imperium Agent to see what you can remove/move and what you can't. Otherwise you need to be unlocked to install anything other than Imperium Agent.

As far as I can tell its e975, I come from Denmark and thats what they call it here...
I sent the phone to repair and of course they said that unofficial software had been installed on it, but they also said, that it was software for another model... :-S I guess in my attemot to root and everything I have tried to install the wrong thing!
So I have had them return it and hope to find a solution myself (all though at this point I am not sure if I ever will be able, if it wasn´t for guys like you!)
You think I can use kdz updater even if my phone is completely dead?
I´ll get hold of it and see what happens when I receive the phone...

Plz help us guyz..///

I totally messed everything up (stuck with brick)

I am an idiot..
Long story short my LG-D852 RGS is showing as an LG-D857 in LG FlashTool and I am unable to flash the correct rom as I keep getting an error message:
"Download fail!! Device model is different"
I somehow flashed my D852 to a D857 while messing around, and now I can not find any way to recover to factory.
Anyone have any solutions that can rescue me from this bricked phone?! PLEASE
If you want some good help to recover your phone go to this thread and ask for help or ask even if it is possible since you flashed the wrong ROM.

Yes I actually agree with that.
Here is the link to that thread which is actually closed but the OP of this thread here can have a good read and perhaps Google for the software to download.

I actually fixed it using a modified .DLL file that bypassed the model mismatch so I used it with the stock bell 5.0.1 and LG flash tool and it finally worked

Very glad you got it sorted. Another success story!
I am confident this phone is basically unbrickable, much like other LG devices I've had in the past

Help save a bricked lg g3

:crying:
My issues is quite complicated. Please be patient and read on.
Less than a week ago, I bought an LG G3 D855. It wasn't brand new and definitely out of warranty.
It was on the 4.4.2 Os version but I couldn't update it because I couldn't locate the UPDATE CENTER and after some research online, I found out it was because it was rooted. I couldn't find a Supersu application anywhere on the phone anyways but Root checker confirmed that it was rooted.
I downloaded the stock kitkat firmware in a .tot format and I tried flashing using LG Flash Tool for TOT but it failed because "Device version is different"
I checked the Imei online and it stated that the device is a Sprint LS990 but the details embedded in the phone all say it is D855
I checked online and found a couple of posts about this error and one user said he was able to fix it by flashing the actual Sprint .tot with the lg flash tool. I tried that but it didn't work. It still said "Device version is different. Check BIN or dll"
I checked online and found results pointing to a generic .dll file for G3s and I downloaded it but when I used it on the Flash tool, it resulted to an error "CrossDL blah blah"
So I found a Marshmallow kdz file. LGUP won't see my device model so I was able to flash it after editting the software in my build.prop to D85510n.
***I have always changed the port to COM41 in all the steps I used
The LG UP detected my model and it flashed to 100% but got stuck on a bootloop by loading the lg screen, freezing and restarting by it self. It never gets to the homescreen.
I downloaded lollipop kdz reflashed using LGUP in a form of downgrade and it got to 100% and got stuck at the lg screen while trying to reboot.
I redownloaded the stock kitkat rom and used the Lg flash tool but it failed. It said 'PID null IMEI Null"
I used LGUP to reflashed. It came to my understanding that the LGUP can flash both kdz and tot. So it flashed to 100% but got stuck at the lg screen and I have tried all I can but it is stuck. It can go into download tho. I don't know what to do about the IMEI. I don't know if the last flash retrieved it. I don't kniw what to do.
It no longer shows as LGE AndroidNet USB Serial
Please can anyone help me?
I just need my phone to work again. I was stubborn and now I regret it. I should have just stuck to kitkat. I'm so desperate to get my phone working that I wouldn't mind Android Froyo Os if it was ever possible.
PLEASE HELP!!!

Folks.
Got the same problem now (with my wife's phone). I'd appreciate it if instead of helping people privately you'd tell everyone what to do to fix the problem.
I had the same problem, downloaded .tot file via IMEI check (can't remember where from) and used that .tot file with BoardDiag, flashed everything as in tutorial (google it), it was 4.4.2 Android, couldn't update it (software is up to date) so I rooted it, flashed twrp 3.0.0 and installed Fulmics 8.0, it works now just fine

Help In finding firmware needed! (Secure Booting Error)

Hello,
I`m in need for LG G3 D885 Kitkat Germany Vodafone firmware, the one hosted here (Germany Vodafone D85521A_00.kdz & Vodafone Germany D85510A_00.kdz) cannot be rooted and the other one doesn't work , the one that works seems to be patched by LG and I haven't been successful in rooting it. I have tried the one click method by avicohh thread both the GUI and the script, and the method by digital-bug thread . No other firmware works for me.. with everything else I end up with a bootloop. Unfortunately it seems that LG has stopped hosting firmware files on http://csmg.lgmobile.com:9002/csmg/b2c/client/auth_model_check2.jsp?esn=355673068637086 and to my efforts and me following this guide I haven't been successful in downloading anything. If you happen to have the firmware I need I would be very grateful if you would share it.
Thanks in advance, and I look forward to hearing from you!
Edit: Look at my reply to the post for further info, I need firmware for the LG D85521A, and it needs to be Kitkat, unfortunately.
English is not my native language, so I apologize for any mistakes in my text .
I really really love this glorious phone (sarcasm)
So I found a firmware that I can root, thanks to hyelton. Turns out the Polish firmware hosted on his website can be flashed on my device and can be rooted. I was thrilled... but not for long.. :crying: I immediately tried to flash TWRP so I can finally flash CyanogenMod (my ultimate goal). So I downloaded Rashr - from the play store to flash the recovery, and apparently It did so successfully, so i clicked the button to go to recovery to finally flash CyanogenMod, and i got the Secure Boot error so I turned to Google for help, and help he did. I found this thread, and the end solution turned out to be to follow this thread . And here I am where I started . The solution is to flash Android Kitkat. I need the firmware for the LG D85521A model - this one only successfully flashes - so far.
So to anyone who knows where I can find the firmware that I am looking for I kindly ask of you to share it with me, and help me and others who are possibly going to face this problem in the future.
Thanks in advance, have a pleasant day

V450PM LG V50 Sprint update to system 20N

Hello guys, so after spending a lot of time doing research on which partitions to extract to flash. I found out that the partitions on the link did the trick. I have 2 Sprint V50 same model one is rooted, the other is not, made the backup with Qfil from the non rooted and flashed those onto the rooted, that did the trick. Only use Qfil to flash partitions, do not use TWRP, it'll fail and your data will be erased to get it to work again!
The files are the one's I used, so I upload those to you guys! Hope it helps someone, if you have a doubt, just ask I'll be happy to help.
When I have some time I'll try to make a guide of it. If a new update arrives I'll update this post with the new files!

thx bro.
Strange I've never had any issue with flashing these in TWRP as long as I clear data/userdata. Then again I prefer starting fresh on a new OTA.
Thanks
Am I supposed to flash these files on just slot b or both slots

Did you ever figure this out? I can't seem to gain root anymore with magisk flashed images... the system sticks at the lg logo... once I restore boot_a it boots fine

But... My phone won't go into download mode any longer. It did prior to the restore service. Also, I was not able to locate a kdz image for this phone.... Only the international version. Any ideas on how to restore download mode and flash a custom rom?

What happens when you try to boot download mode? I'm not sure which kdz you are looking for. If it is sprint, I recommend looking for the v50 sprint backup files shared on xda. It isn't kdz, but result should be more or less the same.

Nowadays, I can only connect via Wi-Fi calling while the cellular connection no longer works, so I'm guessing that T-Mobile is doing some IMEI-based blocking on their end.
