Just follow this steps:
Download software https://www.dropbox.com/s/arvz18cvs8g0kjl/Y200ToolBox.exe
enable USB debugging and disable fast reboot
use windows 7, in XP don't work the soft
turn off the phone, remove the battery a few seconds and turn, do FlashBoot mode ( Volume down + Power the same time for 10 seconds).
Connect your phone to your PC and run the software
Click in die Adb Drivers installer...
click in ich akzeptiere........
Click in Root + CMW (This option is enabled when the drivers are properly installed)
the software will work, you get a black box dialog.say finished and restart the cel.
Don't touch.... the software still running, and the celphone must restart for the second time... after that .... Now if you can disconnect

i tried using the y200 toolbox on my y210d but sadly it did not work. Hope something comes out soon, suck's to use a unrooted phone.

it didnt work for my acsend Y200 on first but i found a solution !!! when you doing flash boot dont let it go to boot menu !!! hold volume up + power,when you see screen like 3 (mobile) or other providers screen release volume + and press volume - together with the power and hold it for about 10 sec until your providers screen frozes and then connect to PC . GOOD LUCK

Is there any Stable Custom ROM for Ascend Y200? Provide the link. I searched a lot but i not able to find any.

I tried to install a custom rom from here : http://forum.xda-developers.com/opt.../vupmp-g-pro-sg3-v3-0-final-lg-g-pro-t2867783
But now I am stuck in a boot loop i think ( it won't do anything but showing me the lg sign )
I tried downloading the kdz file but there isn't 1 site for the Dutch one @ NLD/Netherlands (tbh there is but all the links are down)
I can't boot into the cwm either and I also can't do hard reset...
Can anyone tell me what to do?

I found a sollution for this.
Download LG Mobile Support tool ( http://lg-support-tool.en.lo4d.com/ )
Put your phone in download mode "Hold the VolumeUP + VolumeDOWN Button and plug in the usb cable from your device to your pc [DON'T PRESS THE POWER BUTTON], let it install the drivers. ( To be sure it found you'r drivers, you should press on : Install Drivers
Once you installed your driver of the e98x ( mine is e986 ) Press on Extra functions - Upgrade-error recovery.
Make sure it found your device and make sure you are connected to the internet "IT WONT WORK WITHOUT INTERNET CONNECTION"
Launch it and it will reset your phone to new ( it did for me )
Don't get mad if you lose you're data T_T this worked for me so it should work for you to

Nope, aint working since it says that my battery isn't fully charged. but i even tried the battery of a friend of mine and it says the same..
are you able to enter into the recovery by pressing pOWER + VOLUME UP ? the device must be turned off and to be sure, pull battery and charging cable off and put battery back to do the pressing combo.

you told that u cannot boot into cwm which sounds pretty serious...

how do you get into the recovery mode?
please do not mistake cwm and recovery mode, because cwm is your recovery mode.
so please tell what steps you were using so that we can help you

well, I tried powering off the phone----holding volume DOWN+UP and plugging the usb into my lg.
I also tried that while I took out my entire battery but the same results
Ehm guys, I would like to know how to get my phone back to the stock image. I am still stuck on the error which says my battery is empty when I try to restore it but I quess it is because my phone thinks it is en E980 while it is an e986
Or it is because I flashed Madmacks kernel or smthing. Any solutions? :C I just wanna go back to the stock image D:

1. connect ur phn to ur pc and install flashtool from step 4.
2.install drivers of ur mbl
3.download the kdz firmware file u want from here http://www.lg-phone-firmware.com/index.php?id_mod=25
4.now follow the steps provided in the thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=2797190
5.its better to choose cse flash as i did that(when i chosen normal flash,the update stopped saying some error.so disconneted my net connection and tried again.it worked)
6.if u follow the above steps correctly,ull get ur phn back within 6 minutes.
(sorry for my english) and please let me know if ur phn is back.

Unfortunately I don't have the 986 and didn't catch that was your specific model. If you're in a bricked mode already and have access to your original FW then its worth a shot for recovery. YMMV

facing a big problem..
Hi, I tried to upgrade my Lg g3 D855 (32gb) to V10L by using the file D855v10L.kdz by using flash tool 2014. It does not go past 4% and i have tried it deveral time. I followed the procedure to words but problem remains and now my lg g3 just show the download mode only. when i press the power buttomn the phone automatically shows me the firmware update screen..I have also used the TOT file method and in that i have faced the error of " FAILED TO GO INTO DOWNLOAD MODE" but in reality the phone is in download mode.I am using windows 8.1 64 bit...ANY SOLUTION???

My Asus Zenphone 2 (2gb Ram) just showing usb logo. I guess it's bricked.
I never tried rooting it or install any rom on the phone.
I've searched the forum but couldn't find any solution on it.
Can any guys please help?
(It's not even going to recovery mode. I've tried the power+ vol+ button method... but not working. just the same logo only)

Have you tried the Asus flash tool to see if it recognizes the phone? There is also an Intel flash tool which you could try, you may be able to flash the raw ingredients and get back to normal and flash through bootloader to update both threads for those tools are explained in the Zen 2 forum, search for them

i was trying to flash lollipop rooted stuck room via qpst i was in download mood connected the phone and it reads as 9008 and i press download .. everything was fine it was loading system.img and i got this error
it says download fail firehose fail firehose fail download finish .
after this the phone is not responding to any key i press and it doesn't show when i connect it to pc and qpst can't see the device also .. i don't know what to do to unbrick it .. pls help

Press voulme up and connect to pc.

Try volume up+connect phone to PC. If it isn't detected try charging it for 30 minutes and then the same thing. If that doesn't work try a different USB cable and/or different USB port on your PC.

i tried with no luck the phone cant be detected although it was being detected before the failed flashing attempt .. can windows 10 64 bit be the problem here ? what else can i do to unbrick the phone ?
and i get a message that the usb not recognized or malfunctioned

That sounds exactly like the situation I had. Your motherboard is probably fried. Get it to your service center. Especially if you have the warranty.

im out of warranty .. is there is another way ? what did you do ?
in another note : i gave it to a friend who understand some maintenance and he managed make the device readable when you connect it to pc .. and it was showing 9008 on his pc .. but when i took it home and connect it to mine it shows the first time but then it started to show me usb not recognized again after i removed it .. i don't know what this means .. i gave it back to him to try make it readable again .. his pc is win 7 .. mine is win 10 .. what do you make of that ?

I was in the same situation. For me sometimes I got port 9008 and sometimes USB device not recognized. However every time I got a Sahara Fail. Keep trying to flash the s288 row with different cables/ports. That's all I can think of.

I tried every method possible but nothing worked. Since I was under warranty I took it to a service center where they told me the Motherboard was fried.
Oppssss mother board fried.... Im listening this first time.
he managed to make it readable again and we flashed the rom on his pc .. it went will and my p1 is on again .. thank you for the help

he just said he heated on the memory chips or something like that .. apparently the flashing problem was my win 10 device . because once the phone show 9008 com on flashing software the flash process went ok on his win 7 device
There's another thing that I would like to add. When the flashing fails and phone becomes dead(seems dead), it is not in a powered off state i.e. it actually is in a dormant state in some occasions. That is, it doesn't respond to any actions performed like plugging to pc, plugging charger e.t.c.
For older phones with a removable battery, we could simply remove the battery and turn the phone off completely before trying to flash again.
But since newer phones like our Vibe P1 doesn't have a removable battery, we need to switch the phone off manually.
There is a method for that given in this link.
