I was using intensively Runkeeper on my old phone (Streak 5) and when I got my Ion it started to crash. After couple of minutes of recording, phone restarts itself. I tried couple of similar apps, but situation is the same. This is happening on official ROM and on CM 10 too. Is there some solution?
I buy my nexus 7 2 two weeks ago from US Google play store. After opening the camera 1st saw the reboot issue. Then it increases day by day. Then update all apps and OS but no change.
Then I root it, delete all Google Apps but still problem persist. Then go to CM but no solutions. Then revert back to factory image jss15q but no solution. Now during serving Internet, fb apps, or opening of any apps it reboots multiple time. Also reboots during movement of tabs in my hand or take it a flat surface it reboots automatically. I can't use this tab and I can't change this tab as I am now in Bangladesh. Pls pls
Give a solution.

Hi there,
I have been using the CloudyG3 2.5 ROM on my G3 (D-855) for the past month and something strange is happening to the phone. I must admit, the phone fell of a couple of days ago, but this shouldn't have any relation to my issues. All of a sudden, the sound just stopped working everywhere, even when I use the Music Player it gives me a Playback error and the Messaging and Phone Apps crash all the time. Even ''system'' crashes. Then I decided to use this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2785089 and flashed a stock ROM. This did not solve the issues with sound and Messaging and Phone crashing all the time. I have a SIM card in the phone but it doesn't allow me to make phone calls, it just hangs. Weirdly enough, I get mobile internet and full bars of reception everywhere I go. WiFi also works fine.
Please help a brother out, I really don't know what to do at this point!
Kind Bump
Tried different stock and custom ROMS, but the same processes and apps crash, mainly System process and com.android.phone.
Anyone have a clue? I am really stuck as I can't use my phone for anything.
Dear Friends, I have an unique issue for which I was not able to find answers over the internet. Recently bought LG G4 H815. The phone functions extremely well but when I install Swiftkey it gets heated up in the upper half of the phone. I can feel the heat both in the front and back where the camera is present.
After a prolonged usage like 45 mts to 1 hour it gets terribly hot.
When the swiftkey is uninstalled it works perfectly find without any heat generated. Is someone else facing similar issues. Currently I am in lollipop 5.1 version. I updated to 6.0 but faced the same issue in fact it use to get so hot that I was not able to handle it and make calls. So I downgraded to 5.1 and now all fine except while using Swiftkey.
I am so used to Swiftkey that I can't live without it. Can someone give me a solution for this problem ? Did a factory reset but nothing helped.
Swiftkey communicates data with remote servers. Maybe you should repeat the test, but before starting to test Swiftkey for heat, place the phone in airplane mode.
I just wonder if your heat is from extended times of data communication using a weak signal.
My Lenovo K8 Note restarts automatically. Sometimes 2-3 times a day. How do I disable the same or is it some kind of a bug? Has anybody else faced this issue? If yes, please share the fix for the same, if you have one.

Thanks. Anyway to find out which app may be causing the reboot?
I do not think I have installed apps that may cause reboot. Also, my hard drive is only occupied 1/3 of the 64 GB so not sure that space is also an issue.

Hi All,
Thank you for your help. The issue is resolved after I removed some applications which were proprietary to my previous Android phone.

Hi,
Can you please share the steps that you followed to my email id - [email protected] as i'm facing the same issue after upgrade to android Oreo.
Thanks,
Chandra.
It is mostly because of an update that is just not working well with your phone. Although you can try and delete the apps that can cause the issue wit compatibility, it is hard to tell which one is doing that. Best solution here is to backup your data and reset the phone. It worked for me.
me too facing the same issue
Please help me out with this My lenovo k8 note also restarts automatically 5-6 times in a day. I also reached to service center, they update the software, but it doesn't help.
I am not installed any heavy app or any suspicious app. Also memory is free of space out of 56GB 45 GB of space is free. Please help.
[email protected]
I have also been facing the same problem since I updated software as it asked for lately available software. But my phone restarts several times when its screen light is off. How can I get rid off it? plz suggest.

Restarting is not because or Orea update but due to over heating of CPU
The problem of restarting is not with Oreo update. Its an hardware issue with the motherboard. It just happened that the problem surfaced to all K8 note users at the same time when the Oreo update was released. The issue is with the Media Tek X23 SOC used inside the phone which over heats. Due to continuous heating and after using the phone for about 15 to 16 months the SOCs thermal sensors fail and due to that the phone freezes and goes into boot loop. The heating is mainly because of the Mali T880 MP4 GPU inside this Media Tek X23. You can confirm this and actually use your phone temporarily by cooling it down. The method i used is by putting your phone inside refrigerator for 10 mins and then turn it ON. You will be surprised that it boots into home screen and you can actually use the phone for some time. It doesn't matter which operating system you have currently installed, works both on Android Oreo & Nougat. After keeping it inside the refrigerator for 10 mins take it out and keep the phone on an Ice pack so that it continuous to stays cool even after been taken from the refirgerator. Install app CPUz and go to thermals, there you will see that all the sensors are OFF and there would be no readings. Surprisingly the phone still functions absolutely like normal till you have kept it on the ice pack and you can even watch Youtube or play games. The moment you take it away from the ice pack it will freeze and restart within a minute.

SOLVED SOLVED SOLVED - Restarting/Boot Loop issue, Bake the Motherboard in an Oven
Go to this link and Page 45 there i have posted the same solution with Photos as i couldn't attach then over herehttps://forums.lenovo.com/t5/K8-XT1902-Smartphones/Lenovo-K8-Note-Auto-Restart-issue-Boot-Loop/m-p/4514161#M31208
SOLVED SOLVED SOLVED
SUCCESS SUCCESS SUCCESS
IT IS 100% WORKING NOW, THE PROBLEM OF RESTARTING AND BOOT LOOP HAS GONE COMPLETELY!
To all of my fellow Lenovo K8 note users if you are facing with the problem of boot loop, freezing and constant restarting of your phone then its the problem with the motherboard and not the Oreo update. Yesterday i was able to used the phone temporarily by cooling it in the refrigerator that gave me the hint that there is some loose connection or dry solder due to which the phone was not working. Mainly this loose connection must have happened due to over heating of Media Tek X23 CPU.
So i decided to do the rebalding soldering of the motherboard. Now the right way to do it is using the Hot Air Station, but if you dont have it then you can even bake the motherboard in oven. Follow the steps below
1) Carefully open the back and disconnecte the flex cables for Battery, volume button, LCD and Daughter USB charge boards (Watch some Youtube Videos Online)
2) Unscrew the Motherboard and take it out from the casing.
3) Remove the metal sheilds covering the CPU, there will be 4 sheilds but only 2 of them are removable, the other 2 are soldered to the motherboard so dont try to remove it if you dont have Hot Air Station.
4) Heat the IC underneath the shields with Hot Air Station, If you dont have Hot Air station then put the mother board on a ceramic or non conductive plate and then place it inside the Oven for Baking. !!!! WARNING DO NOTMICROWAVE IT !!!! You need to use the setting of your Oven similar to what you would use for Bakin breads.
5) The Oven should be Pre heated to 230 Celcuis before you put the motherboard.
6) Set the timer to 10 to 15 minutes and let it bake
7) Once the baking time is over, then let the Motherboard cool inside the oven untill is cool to touch.
8) Put Heat sink compound on top of the IC/CPU and Metal Sheild plates
9) Reassemble everything and test if it works.
10) Dont forget to give my reply a like if it works for you, All the Best!!!
I have attached some photos of the motherboard with some instructions
