Hi, I have downloaded a lot of different ROMs here. They are all really nice especially the Gen Y I like a lot. But I have a Diamond and the Diamond has not much memory. Is there a nice ROM around that doesn't need much ram?
I am looking for a ROM like the Stock one, but with a nicer Dialer and mybe the stocks and calender tab in the mail menue.
Please help me. I sick of all the RAM eating ROMs. (German would be nice)

Here is info on the 2 cabs, made a difference with my memory on my Diamond. especially with NRG Roms
1.NoPushInternet_v2 Cab
"disabling the Push Internet Engine, which also lets you close Opera Mobile whenever you please, you essentially free up a healthy chunk of RAM. To disable Push Internet and allow proper closing of Opera Mobile via X button, simply install the NoPushInternet V2 CAB. This will immediately drop the percentage down on your next reboot, which is nice. If you decide that you want Push Internet again, just uninstall through system settings.
2.Dynamic Resource Proxy Cab, Here is the Registry Edit if you do not want to install this cab.
“HKLM\SOFTWARE\HTC\ResProxy” change “ShareMemSize” to 0. Mine was set to 15728640
Try Nataly 2.7 final.. THis ROM is fast

Hi,
afterflashing I can say the Nataly 2.7 is really fast. 47% RAM after boot and really fast and smooth Manila. Nice ROM, but I am missing a few little extras. Maybe I will cook a liitle bit with the Nataly as base.
The ultra light ROM is fast too but I don't like WM6.5. Also I had problems to cancel the keylock in this ROM. Sometimes the touchscreen did not work after wakeup.
I think my favorit is not found yet.

hi, my xperia arc S has about 200 mb of ram left but it still lags alot, it lags at about everything i do.i had the xperia arc but it did not lag.
Just my thoughts.......when a device lags when it's brand new and unmodified (it is i assume....) = hardware problem!
Exchange it for a new one.
btw...your thread title isn't that clear , that's probably why lotsa ppl read it and no one answered.

If you don't care about graphical user interface ,defintely JJ hybrid rom is great (fast - compatible with games - has ROM control as well) ,few bugs though like wifi hotspot http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1537717
If you care about having nice user interface with reasonable game performance you can try Jelly sandwich http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1836993 or the Remix http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1884958

How To Flash DrakFantasy™:
IMPORTANT NOTE BEFORE INSTALLATION:
Please Update your Recovery To Latest Recovery
AND IF YOU HAVE ABOVE MENTIONED RECOVERY THEN FOLLOW BELLOW MENTIONED STEPS FOR INSTALLATION OF DarkFantasy™...... :
Boot Into Recovery
Go To Factory Data Reset Menu Do Both The Resets Provided In Reset Menu.
Do A Wipe Cache Partition
Wipe Dalvik Cache......
Now Go to Install From ZIP Select Adis DrakFantasy V1.zip
After This Aroma Installer will Guide You Through Out Installation Process.
After Comletion Of Flashing After 1st Boot When You Saw Setup Wizard Please Please Dont Touch Screen For At least 15 Mins.........If you are not following this don't complaint me about force-close or any thing.
Now after 15 mins complete Setup wizard while doing this DONT LOGIN GOOGLE ACCOUNT AND DONT RESTORE ANY BACKUPS.
When u complete Setup-wizard Again Boot Into Recovery Mode And wipe Cache Partitions & Dalvik Cache
Ok Done Installation completed........
Please Note 1st Boot will Take long time to Boot

Dude all Rom starts with beta Alfa stage
With users feedback and developers hard work one day it becomes bugfree
This is process how it be......
I can remember when Samsung release 4.2.1 that also came with bugs
Just flash and listen a song in stock head phone definitely you will feel my magical touch in Rom
