So ive been having this problem with my sprint galaxy s6. In browser video will only buffer up to about 28 seconds is the max ive seen it. Signal is fine, everything else loads pretty much instantly. Tried factory reset, same issue.
This happens on the stock Internet browser as well as Chrome, firefox seems to be working alright so far.
Again this is only in browser video, youtube and other seperate video apps work fine.
Running Renegade OJ7 rom on SM-920p currently. But the problem persists even if I re-flash the stock MD5 on the phone.
I would appreciate any insight.
Try Dolphin browser its my fav browser. but You have to install the flashplayer apk clear the cache on it and ifso is it up to date.

I really don't know if I am at the correct forum, as I have more of an issue rather than a question...
So i got the Nexus for a week now and it was great until yesterday where the stock browser won't load some specific sites (which also happen to be on the bookmark widget on my homepage). Every time it loads up to 90% on the one site and sits there till if closes and returns you to the homescreen without any message. Every ''stuck'' website has it's one load percentage where it stucks. Other sites work fine.
I downloades dolhin HD and got the same issue while opera mini worked fine although i dont like it)
Any similar experience or solutions?
things i have tried:
1. Reboot
2. removed widget
3. Cleared browser data + cache
Strange. You running any custom ROM or all stock?
Browser has been pretty damn solid for me so far, and I use it quite a bit.
I'm running 2.3.6 rooted stock with bullet kernel.
Out of the blue, opera mobile will not play flash videos such as those on YouTube when they are embedded. Prior to yesterday, I was able to watch embedded flash videos.without a problem on opera. Since last night, attempting to play embedded videos results in the youtube player launching, and getting a network error 400, which occurs on both wifi and 4G.
So far, ive cleared data and cache, and uninstalled and reinstalled both flash and opera. ive also ran fixed permissions in cwm and rom manager. This is only a temporary solution, as once I close the browser the same problems occur. Does anyone else have this problem? Is there something I need to change?
Ive included pictures of what ive described.
Any help is much appreciated.

Has anyone else noticed how slow web browsing is on this phone? I can't stand it! Connected to 50 mbps wifi and it takes 15-20 sec minimum to fully load a mobile version webpage. Tried chrome, chrome beta, dolphin, stock browsers and all are similar. It's like the pages load half way then stop for 10 sec and the continue loading. I ran a test vs my wifes lg g3 and I was able to load cnn.com, yahoo.com and half load aol.com before my note 4 loaded just cnn!! Love everything about this phone but can't live with this. Any ideas what is causing this?
Well I'm not surprised about chrome, not a fan.
I checked mine at SPEED-BATTLE and got these results
chrome 97.3
stock 96.81
firefox 196.85
x-scope Pro 225.32

What do these numbers mean?
Hi As per above move websites are taking an age to load or do not load at all, yet my Note 4 runs perfectly on the same wifi and at the same time - I've tested both - same site and its fast, whereas the tab s isn't.
I've cleared the cache and done the usual stuff. reluctant at this point to do a factory reset as it takes so long to recover android devices.
Any quick ideas to try?
Strangely when I've run a speedtest it show similar to the phone!!!!
I'm on 5.0.1. UK wifi only T800.
thanks
What browser are you using, have you tried other`s ??
John.

Well another browser didn't work. Neither did a factory reset. However deleting the device on my router and the WiFi connection on the tab 's appears to have sorted it...
Since the lollipop update of all the browsers I have tried on this device, and I have pretty much tried most of them, the stock browser is the best. Its fluid, pretty much lag free and has the best layout.
Title says it all. Been dealing with it since shortly after the may update or so. I have watched YouTube videos, turned data saver off, and reached out to a couple members for help. Chrome was super fast and a joy to use before. Even when I had 20 tabs open it wouldn't miss a best. Now it freezes and lags for 20+ seconds when switching tabs, pulling the app up, when I switch wifi networks, and when I do other odds and ends too.
If I turn JavaScript off it seems to be fine, but so many things use JavaScript. I can't browse without it. Firefox doesn't behave this way. I have tried collecting various matlogs and there never seems to be any issues on them.
I've also been unable to look into my discover card credit card account. When ever I login and the page loads I'm prompted with a message that says "you are logged out." It's like it's booting me immediately, and I never get into the account. This doesn't happen in my Firefox browser. I didn't use chrome on my Galaxy s4 until the very end when Firefox started ticking me off. Maybe I'll have to go back.
What are you all experiencing, and what have you done to correct this issue if you've seen it? I'm on chrome 67.0. is anyone wkas experiencing this? Is it worth trying to uninstall updates? I don't want to really use an un-upfsted version of chrome though. I just want it to work right. Google searches didn't yield much help for this issue. There are a lot of threads about it from the 2012ish era, but there isn't anything recent.
honestly, you're issue is not common. I haven't had an issue with chrome in 3 years+.
Is this the only app you're having issues with? because if not, then there is something else going on...
What I would do is: clear cache, go into Manage Space, and clear all data. Then uninstall, restart phone and reinstall.
Try Chrome Beta if your feeling up to it - it's crazy fast and use it 3+ hours a day with 10 tabs, no issues.
I have all settings in chrome pretty much stock - always have data saver on because I use a lot of data.
Also, I use Brave browser sometimes just as a backup. It's amazing cuz it's based off of chrome. But nothing works like chrome does, thats why I always keep it my default browser. Everyone used their phone differently but for me, Chrome is always consistent and fast.
yeah...maybe clearing the cache, data, and even uninstalling the updates (as you mentioned) might set things right...
This ended up being a bad, bloated host file for AdAway. I don't remmeber the name, but I think I posted it in the AdAway thread. Mods, feel free to close this one out. Thanks.
