Locked out of phone please helllpppppp - T-Mobile Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge+

Okay, so my s6E+ is completely locked out due to a 7 yr old trying to access MY phone with HER finger print. It will not accept my recovery password, nor will it except my google account information. I even reset my google account to ensure the password is correct and nothing changed. It is now telling me that the sim card is locked too. I cannot afford to factory reset my phone. Its my business/personal phone and I cant loose anything smh. PLEASEEEEEEE SOMEONE HELPPPP THIS IS URGENT. I was told by samsung CS and Sprint CS that I would have to wait 72 hours to try my finger print recognition again. I dont even know how accurate that is. Then they said I may be able to get someone to flash my phone where I dont lose any info. IS THIS TRUE??????
Kind regards,

How do we know you didn't steal or found this phone.

He is right how do we know?

Why are the 2 of you here?
You're here to HELP with technical issues. Not be wanna be police officers. You DON'T know if they stole it or if the daughter messed it up. In America we are innocent until proven guilty. You lazy pricks have no authority to decide otherwise..

[Q] HTC Desire LOST...

Hi. Somebody stolen my HTC Desire. How can I block it using IMEI. If it is already locked, is it international? I want to block it completely so that somebody can no longer use the phone. If it is possible to brick it remotely i would really appreciate it... I reported this to HTC but can't since it requires serial number that can be found on the phone itself. I worked hard just to buy it. Please do me a favor. please... i have been crying all day because of it. Please tell me how? I got the box with me... Thanks...
First of all, stop crying.
Second, the IMEI is (at least on mine) also on the box.
Third, report it to the police and hope they find it.
That is all you can do. Sorry for your loss and I hope you/they find it. I know about a case when an iPhone was stolen and was returned to the owner in like a month. So lets hope for the best.
Moved to Q&A as not development.
Second, stop crying, as said above. There's nothing we can do now it's gone, but the serial number is on the white sticker on the box, and begins HT99xxxxxxxx usually.
Report the theft to the police, and get it recorded. To block the IMEI, you will need to tell your network.
Was the SIM in the phone when it happened? If so, you NEED to tell your network ASAP, as you are liable for all calls made until you tell them and they cancel the SIM. They can bar the IMEI when you call.
As for it being international, there's no one database for this, so the phone may be usable outwith the country, but you likely won't get it back.
Did you install WaveSecure or anything like that on it? That would let you track it using the GPS and wipe the data.
Sorry to hear of your loss.
Phone your network now if not already done
It's for situations like this that i would really appreciate if HTC gave us the new SenseUI and give us access to to the webpage as well...
Thanks for transferring the thread. Here's in Philippines, the cost of HTC Desire is expensive especially for my type of job. I can't really help it but cry. Maybe its just natural for a typical woman eh? Sigh... Can't even sleep. Well, my sim is just a prepaid. And I have not installed WaveSecure or anything else. When I realised that my phone is missing, I can no longer call it. It may have been shut down already. Got my EMEI now from the box. Now I don't know what to do from here. Maybe reporting this to HTC would help?
I don't think HTC can help, I just know you should call
1. your mobile operator
2. police
and let it go. If it comes back, great. If not, you'll get another one, even better one
Are you insured ? In Denmark we have a household insurance that covers thefts like this ?
The worst part is the data and accounts that someone else has access to now. I suggest changing your gmail/google passwords as well as long in to google checkout and remove any existing credit cards
Likewise - try calling your insurance company - just might be lucky and they will cover it ?

[Q] network wont connect

I have my galaxy s3 through tmobile, and I used to be on my boyfriend's account. Well after we broke up, he reported my phone as stolen. Now I cant use my phone with any carrier, because apparently the IMEI number has been blacklisted. I have called tmobile to explain the situation, but they are not hearing it because I wasn't the account holder. Is there any way to go around this situation? They will not listen to me or believe me, even though I take my phone to them and show all of my data and proof that I have had it forever! Please help, because if I cant fix this then I will be out a lot of money that I do not have!!!

Well, I'll bite the bullet on this one. It looks like you are screwed as your phone is blacklisted and most of the carriers are sharing lists, so you probably never be able to get service in the U.S. Your only real options, other than pursue legal action against BF/TMo, are to sell the phone to a non-U.S. party for them to use or part it out.
Good Luck with it.

locked sim card?

Well my s6 is a gift and i am living in india
I have lived without root for as long as i could ( full 6 months, not bragging XD)
Anyways, the reason i havent rooted or am writing this is because i fear my device can get locked again incase i flash stock rom or basically reset it.
I read it somewhere and this got me a bit scared, coz i dont have a t mob sim, or bill or purchase date and all other info once could need, hell you guys can blame me that this device is stolen and i wont be able to prove that i own it...
So what are the odds of it getting locked
What should i check, to see things through and be 100% sure
P.S. i went to t mob site and clicked the live chat button to ask them directly and they ask all sort of stupid info 1st before starting chat like your ssn or account name etc...stupid tmobile.
Please reply. Really need clarification on this issue. May be a small thing to you guys but means a big time for me

Sprint Note10 plus help

hey guys, just bought a NOTE 10 PLUS from a friend dirt cheap since he cant unlock it. i tried to do the factory rest and now im stuck at the setup screen saying i need to varify myself. can you guys link me to the proper thread to download the firmware to flash with odin. theres so many varients that i need to ask for guidance. this is the N975U for the Sprint network. id like to just have it as a web browser if possible.
Simply return it to it's owner and they will be able to unlock it. Flash whatever you like, you won't be able to get around a frp lock.
The fact that 'the friend' is unable to unlock it makes it a bit suspicious...

Before you buy/accept any Android device make sure the seller/owner of the phone does a factory data reset before he/she sells/gives it to you.
Performing the FDR will disable the FRP lock (Google Anti-theft Measure). As stated previously if the previous person doesn't do the phone will ask for the previous Google Account login information for verification. Without that information you won't be able to use, flash or Factory Data Reset the phone.
There is 100% a way to unlock it as previously mentioned, return it to its owner. Buying stolen goods is not a good idea, that is what we can learn from this.
Wish I would have known this was locked this way. Dont think its stolen.. just found. Oh well..... learned the hard way.
I'm sure you do but the owner didn't buy it just so you could get a sweet deal on a Note 10 Plus. Stolen or lost, it could easily be returned to it's owner.

This is a found phone over the holiday shopping spree. That's what I was told at least. I've been out of the flashing world for years and was not aware about these new security system with Google. Bought the dang thing for 200$ thinking I was getting a awesome deal by just flashing it. looks like I lost money. So there's no way to unlock it? I was also forwarded that he couldn't unlock the thing. I thought I'd stay quiet and use is in since he doesn't even know what it is. Lol. I might have shot myself in the foot.

Am I understanding this correct? Your friend found the phone (he didn't buy it nor did he actually own the phone, he just happened to find it) that you bought?
If so then that is in fact a stolen phone. Regardless of what your friend said if someone happened to loose the phone it does not mean it belongs to the person who found it. If the friend didn't make a reasonable effort to find the owner of the phone then they have committed theft by finding.
The correct and legal thing to do when you found a lost phone is if you see any sort of carrier branding on the phone (Verizon, AT&T or etc) take it to the nearest store matching the carrier branding. Inform them that the phone was found on the ground. They will be able to locate the appropriate owner. If you can't locate any branding you should take it to your local police department in case someone called it in as lost. If the phone was found at a local store, give the phone to the store in case someone comes looking for the phone they lost.
And the answer is no. The FRP lock is an anti-theft measure. Surrender the phone to the applicable provider or local authorities so the owner can claim the lost device. Your friend should be able to give your money back if they are your friend.
You have received your answer here and also here
Return it to the authorities as your posts about this are inconsistent

Unlocking Note 10+ without password

Hi guys, a little drama here, long story short, bought a Note 10+ for a friend that unfortunately didn't deserved so I took the phone back, obviously my friend refused to unlock the phone, I know how to factory reset the phone but I know it will ask for the Google account associate with it after the reset and I don't have it. Any way to solve this? Root it and custom rom maybe? but not sure if possible with the phone locked. Contact Samsung maybe? I got the phone in Amazon, unlocked and activate it in my T-mobile account, first time this happened to me, thank you very much.
Why don't you tell the police so that whoever you stole the phone from can get it back
There is no way around an FRP lock, this is a question that has been asked many times before and the answer is always the same. Even if there was a way around the FRP lock, XDA is not the place for discussion of it.
Who buys a "friend" a Note10+...
If you bought the device, you can take the receipt and go to a Samsung Service Center, they will require you to show proof of purchase, and they can remove the FRP lock for you.
XDA is not the place to ask for removing FRP since it can be used to get access to a stolen device.
