Hi, I have an Asus zenfone 2 a couple of weeks via OTA update, since the phone began to fail, random reboots, wifi and bluetooth does not work, sometimes is with the screen off and vibrating, to turn it off I have to keep power button
when trying to enter the recovery mode from fastboot, the phone keeps the screen off and vibrating
I could reinstall the original rom using a temporary recovery, but the problem persists.
Please help!
Sorry for my bad English.
greetings from Chile.

wipe data/factory reset and cache from recovery
I wipe cache and factory reset from recovery, but it did not work, perform a downgrade to 2.20.40.139, but the problem continues, there will be a hardware failure?

Hey,
I'm worried that my phone is bricked, but would like to hear if there are some options of reviving my phone without sending it to repairs.
I was in ClockworkMod Recovery as I wanted to update my ROM from oxygen-v.2.0-RC7 to the latest version.
I had wiped all data and dalvik cache and was in the middle of installing the .zip when my battery popped out (don't ask how).
Now my phone won't boot up at all. When connected to a charger it vibrates 7 times, but the LED is not on and I cannot boot it, even when trying Power+Vol. button.
Am I screwed? Or is there a way to save it?
Nevermind! It suddenly decided to boot up into Recovery on one of my attempts and I managed to restore my old settings.
It seems it just needed some time.
Mods are welcome to delete this thread.
i was running beanstalk rom on my phone been a few weeks no problems today it was giving me a delay when i pressed the power button to wake up the phone all day than mid day it started rebooting randomly than a while after that it just went reboot to samsung galaxy screen and then reboots wont boot up the rom so i used odin flashed the latest 4.1.2 stock and now it boots galaxy screen the samsung logo with sound than reboots same stuff still i need to know how this happened and how to fix it asap
Enter recovery manually
Factory reset
This will most likely erase your internal sd.
Good luck.

Hey guys
A friend of mine was flashing his Galaxy Note 3 GT-P5200 and it suddenly froze, then it restarted.
Now at every restart, it's stuck in a recovery loop.
I can still access donwload mode, and I've tried flashing several firmwares with Odin but it still reboots directly to the recovery mode and restarts.
I've tried flashing different recoveries, but it still reboots every time.
Is it hard bricked ?
If it is, what are the solutions ?
Thank you

If it stays in recovery mode long enough to perform a cache wipe, try that. Then a full data wipe/factory reset. If you can't get that to work, then I have no other ideas. You did flash a full firmware package in Odin, correct?

Unfortunately it doesn't stay on the recovery mode even half a second.
It restarts right away.
And yeah, I've flashed the correct files again and again but the problem persists.
I guess it just went to electronics heaven ...
I had rooted my zenfone 2 ZE551ML and i installed the latest update... And saw that my phone didnot start and stuck at the reboot screen... That i consulted to the asus support team... I cannot go into recovery mode as well. After seeing the dead robot error and pushing up volume then power button renders a blank or black screen. What can I do now?

I did the same with mine in April. Restarted it before it was done wiping cache. I had to do an RMA andcsend it in to Asus Canada. I had it back in a week and a half. Phone Asus and see what they can do for you.

You can try the raw file with asus flashtool and after adb sideload the last firmware.
If you can get into fastboot mode. Try "fastboot erase cache"

I found out how to get into recovery. On mine once I get to the sleeping robot, I first pressed and held the power button then the up volume momentarily and it worked. Phone is fixed but it sucks losing much of my data and configuration.
Hello Guys,
since 2 days my phone stucks in a bootloop. I entered a wifi password, then my phone starts to reboot immediately. the lockscreen appear for just 1 sec and then the phone starts to reboot again. Im Using Android 6.0, unroot, usb debugging disabled, closed bootloader and no custom recovery. I can enter the download mode and the factory reset menu. I can reset my phone, but i dont wanna lose my pictures on the internal storage. Is it possible to save my pictures? Or how can i restore them after a Factory reset?
i also tried to reinstall Android 6.0 with the LG Flash Tool 2014, and did the installation without the factory reset, but it doesnt helped.
i hope someone could help me.
Thanks

A factory reset might fix it. This is why you should have stuff like that backed up.
